Additional firms to promote products and education in Canada and 23 U.S. states

LAS VEGAS – January 15, 2020 (MEDIAWIRE) – Kingpin University announced it has secured agreements with six sales and fulfillment affiliates to market its business, installation and fabrication training courses to mobile electronics retailers, as well as its product line of fabrication consumables and tooling. Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. introduced the newest Digital Signal Processor (DSP) to their lineup with the PXE-X09 Hi-Resolution Wireless DSP. The PXE-X09 includes 16 channels for seamless aftermarket sound integration and tuning tools that correct acoustical abnormalities in vehicle interiors. The PXE-X09 debuted today during the 2020 International CES, taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center from Jan. 7-10.

OEM Integration

The PXE-X09 has the necessary tools for OEM system integration. The processor is versatile and can be used with a factory system, Alpine head unit, or other aftermarket head unit while adding aftermarket amplifiers or speakers through the flexibility of the 16-channel multi-use inputs

The PXE-X09 includes a built-in Real-Time Analyzer (RTA) to gauge the sound system’s performance in reference to how it responds to the acoustical abnormalities in the vehicle. Ten bands of equalization per channel can flatten the input signal for real-time sound adjustments to develop a well-balanced response and proper center sound stage.

PC and Smartphone Control

Building off the success of the PXE-0850’s HMI (Human-Machine Interface), the PXE-X09 includes PC and smartphone control for real-time, wireless tuning adjustments using Bluetooth® technology and the “PXE-X09” smartphone or PC app (available on the App Store® and Google Play™).

The included remote controller with rotary knob can be installed on the dashboard for quick volume and bass adjustments and source selection. Music can be streamed using the PXE-X09’s Bluetooth® connection and played through the existing speakers.

Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. introduced a new sound system lineup for the Halo category that includes a 10-inch and 12-inch ported subwoofer enclosure and remote bass knob. The enclosures are pre-loaded with S-Series and R-Series subwoofers. They debuted today during the 2020 International CES, taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center from Jan. 7-10.

Enclosure Stacking Features

Unique to Alpine, the subwoofer 10-inch and 12-inch enclosures are available as a single or “linked” format with an optional mounting bracket. This innovative design allows the sound consumer the option to easily add more bass to their system.

The optional mounting bracket (sold separately) is available in a 10-inch KTX-H10 or 12-inch KTX-H12 solution that mounts to the face of the subwoofer and links for a sturdy, dual-subwoofer enclosure. The silver enclosure trim matches the steel bracketing and Halo display trim for a synergized look.

Optimized Performance

The ported enclosure design delivers a higher total sound output for deep, powerful bass, reliable sound reproduction and overall great sound quality. The 10-inch enclosure is tuned to 36 Hz while the 12-inch enclosure is tuned to 35 Hz for optimized performance with Alpine’s S-and-R-Series subwoofers.

Remote Bass Level Control Anywhere

Bass levels can be controlled with the RUX-H01 Remote Bass Knob for Halo (sold separately). The knob can be mounted to any 9-inch or 11-inch Halo screen or anywhere in the vehicle for quick bass level adjustments.

The RUX-H01 is compatible with Alpine amplifiers and is multi-amp capable (standard phone cable splitter required) and can adjust the gain from 0 to -12 dB. The bass knob is designed to match the aesthetic of the Halo displays and subwoofer enclosures. The smooth tapered edges and silver finish provide a premium look that compliments the Halo displays.

STILLWATER, USA – KICKER® announces the addition of longtime KICKER employee Aziz Masri to the International Sales Team.

In a new initiative spearheaded by International Sales Director Chet Weddle, Masri will serve several locations on every continent KICKER serves, as will every member of the International Sales Team.

“When you interview for a position like this, you search for someone who can become the face of the company outside these walls, and do so admirably,” Weddle said. “We loved that Aziz would look at the position from a different perspective, and knew he would be an immediate fit.

“Based on this expansion, we’ve thrown a stick of dynamite at the traditional model. Instead of assigning territories to each member of the department, we are matching people to personalities,” Weddle said.

Masri has worked at KICKER for over two decades, starting in the Electronic Repair department and then transferring to Research and Development. He was then promoted to Electronic Repair Manager – a post he held for the past 15 years.

“I have always felt that because of my overseas background, that I could do a good job in the International Sales Department,” Masri said. “I wanted to do more for this company and move to a new challenge. Working in the technical side, you are trained to look at transistors and coils. Through extensive industry research, the iLX-F411 includes all the features needed to command an exciting drive and is an ideal upgrade for the active weekender or everyday commuter. Features and System Expansion

Included in each enclosure is the popular KICKER CompRT® thin subwoofer, alongside a resurgent reFLEX™ passive radiator for a significant upgrade in bass without increasing overall depth. Barely five inches high, TRTP Enclosures are built to fit anywhere from behind the seat of a pickup to the back cargo area of a hatchback. The down-firing design allows it to fit in tight spaces, yet still deliver peak performance. The rugged enclosures design has the added benefit of allowing items to be stacked on top of it for max cargo space. TRTP Enclosures are carpeted and custom embroidered with the KICKER logo.

Thanks to innovative engineering, the shallow-mount CompRT subwoofer handles an exceptional amount of power without sacrificing depth. The ribbed Santoprene® surround sports signature red KICKER stitching, while the thick polypropylene cone pumps out smooth, clean bass. The sub’s perimeter venting and UniPlate™ back plate and solid pole piece provide excellent thermal management for the sub at any volume level.

January 15, 2020 -- The Audison design team, headquartered in the Potenza Picena (Italy), spent a long time planning and perfecting the new SR line. After numerous listening tests in a double-blind configuration on a significant sample of professionals and enthusiasts, the R&D team decided to adopt a new D-class technology called ADT (Audison D-Class Technology) for the entire SR amplifier line. When using the high-level inputs, the SR amplifiers can also be appropriately connected to OEM sources featuring the “speaker load detection” function that monitor the presence of a low-impedance load to enable audio outputs.

Complete Controls on Top Panel

As per tradition, the SR amplifiers confirm their vocation for versatility by including on all models a complete filter section, suitable for any type of audio system configuration. The controls, protected by a satin-finish aluminum panel, are located on the amplifier upper panel, to be easily reached from above even after the product has been installed. When the system includes an Audison bit processor, the filter section can be totally excluded.

Limitless Connectivity

All models are equipped with high-level balanced inputs for connection to the OEM Head Unit speakers output and low RCA level for the after-market ones. When the high level input is used, the ART function (Automatic Remote Turn-On / Off) can be enabled to control the switching on of the amplifiers with the head unit switch-on button. In addition, there is a remote IN / OUT socket to allow the control of multiple cascaded amplifiers switch on when required.

The SR 1.500, SR 4.300 and 4.500 models recreate the PRE-OUT signal by using the Speaker-IN input to interface it with OEM sources only equipped with amplified outputs, allowing the system expansion.

The built in 2/0 bussing allows up to 4 Positive and 4 Negative hidden direct connections to each module without the need for any external exposed bussing, while still leaving two easily accessible top terminals and four series or parallel expansion terminals to easily build a bank of nearly any configuration from 12V, 14V, 16V, 24V, 28V, 36V, 48V, or any configuration imaginable. Viper SmartView not only records while the vehicle is in motion, but when paired with a DS4 system, will record when activated by a warn-away or full-trigger security event. This allows consumers to have peace of mind even when they aren’t near their vehicles. With Live Look, vehicle owners can take a look inside their vehicle at any time. 

With built-in cellular connectivity, SmartView is capable of controlling DS4 systems as well as provides a built-in WiFi hotspot. SmartView also provides OBDII diagnosis and fault code reporting.
