OCTOBER 6,2023 -- In September, Automobility was able to send 30 Canadian Audison dealers to Italy to visit Elettromedia’s headquarters for “THE ITALIAN EXPERIENCE.” Dealers enjoyed a private preview of new products and exchanged valuable industry information, while touring the engineering and design aspects of Ellettromedia. The trip was not all business. Elettromedia based in Marche region of Italy invited Automobility and it’s Canadian Audison partners to experience the beauty of some of Italy's most historic and beautiful communities, as well as the region's rich wine and culinary heritage, breathtaking scenery, and the Adriatic Coast's.
Day One - After a fun day visiting the Ducati museum, everyone settled down for an enjoyable dinner at the Hotel Terme Salvarola.
Day two - Another highlight of the trip was a stop to the Ferrari Museum, which is now hosting an exhibition called "Innovation at Maranello," which presents some of the most important vehicles in the history of the Prancing Horse brand in an entirely new setting. The exhibit portrays the history of the Maranello label from a place of innovation.
Day Three - The group went on a corporate tour of Elettromedia's headquarters, met with key decision-makers, and spent the day learning more about the Audison line of products. After a great time discovering the place where all ideas are born and grow, the crew headed to Ristorante Della Rosa In Sirolo to sample fine wines and socialize over aperitifs. The organised wine list included the greatest regional, national, and worldwide brands, along with fish specialties, fried dishes, and seafood crudités. After a satisfying dinner, the group headed to Italy's largest indoor kart track for some friendly competition.
Day Four – Leonardo Doffo, the Technical Product Marketing Manager at Elettromedia, provided our team with product training on the newest offerings from Elettromedia. The day continued followed by local winery and wine tasting at Terra Fageto Wine Cellar and finished the day having dinner at Lu Focaro Restaurant in In Torre Di Palme. This restaurant is known for its fantastic panoramic balcony on top of a hill dominating the coast and the Adriatic Sea.
Day Five – Everyone spent the day in the town of Gadara. The ancient town is characterized by a double line of medieval walls and by the massive castles. The Electtromedia team treated our staff and Canadian Audison partners for another amazing Italian cuisine.

8/10/2016 -- Elettromedia has begun shipping the Hertz H8 DSP processor. Taking ideas and the design of the Audison Bit Ten and Bit Ten D, the processor will include analog and digital inputs that can all be controlled through its specially designed software via computer.
The H8 DSP inputs will include the following features:
- 4 High level of low level inputs
- 1 auxiliary input
- Optical digital input that will accept a signal at a sample rate up to 96/24bit
Any source can be selected through the DRC HE remote.
The H8 DSP will consist of 8 channels of pre out analog outputs that will have a independent 31 band equalizer for each channel.
An added feature that is not found on their current processors is the UCS (User Control Set). This allows the installer to wire the H8 DSP to get a signal and automatically switch to one of its stored memories (Mem A or Mem B). For example, the passenger seat belt sensor can trigger the H8 DSP to switch to Mem B of that tune is set for driver + passenger.

January 15, 2020 -- The Audison design team, headquartered in the Potenza Picena (Italy), spent a long time planning and perfecting the new SR line. After numerous listening tests in a double-blind configuration on a significant sample of professionals and enthusiasts, the R&D team decided to adopt a new D-class technology called ADT (Audison D-Class Technology) for the entire SR amplifier line. This technology made it possible to reduce the size of the amplifiers while totally preserving the audio performance that characterize each Audison project.
The New SR Line consists of these four models:
- SR 4.300 MAP $ 399.99 85w x 4 @ 4ohms
- SR 4.500 MAP $ 499.99 130w x 4 @ 4ohms
- SR 5.600 MAP $ 549.99 75w x 4 @ 4ohms, and 550w x 1 @ 1 ohm
- SR 1.500 MAP $ 399.99 500w x 1 @ 4ohms, 800w x 1 @ 2ohms, 1000w x 1 @ 1 ohm
- Optional VCR-S1 Remote Volume Control for both models.
Some New Features include:
Built in USS (Universal Speaker Simulator)
When using the high-level inputs, the SR amplifiers can also be appropriately connected to OEM sources featuring the “speaker load detection” function that monitor the presence of a low-impedance load to enable audio outputs.
Complete Controls on Top Panel
As per tradition, the SR amplifiers confirm their vocation for versatility by including on all models a complete filter section, suitable for any type of audio system configuration. The controls, protected by a satin-finish aluminum panel, are located on the amplifier upper panel, to be easily reached from above even after the product has been installed. When the system includes an Audison bit processor, the filter section can be totally excluded.
Limitless Connectivity
All models are equipped with high-level balanced inputs for connection to the OEM Head Unit speakers output and low RCA level for the after-market ones. When the high level input is used, the ART function (Automatic Remote Turn-On / Off) can be enabled to control the switching on of the amplifiers with the head unit switch-on button. In addition, there is a remote IN / OUT socket to allow the control of multiple cascaded amplifiers switch on when required.
The SR 1.500, SR 4.300 and 4.500 models recreate the PRE-OUT signal by using the Speaker-IN input to interface it with OEM sources only equipped with amplified outputs, allowing the system expansion.
Built in Crossovers
Lo-Pass and Hi-Pass 12 dB adjustable (50 Hz to 3200 Hz) filters, providing the ability to build a front + rear system, a multichannel – woofer + tweeter system or a powerful sub + front system.
On the SR 5.600 & SR 1.500 models
24 dB continuous adjustable (50 to 500 Hz) Lo-Pass subwoofer filter. SUBSONIC filter (24 dB - 25 Hz), removes very low subsonic frequencies from music signal to avoid damages to the subwoofer.
January 9, 2020 -- Just as the virtuous performer holds the absolute mastery of the instrument and the technique connected to it, the bit One HD Virtuoso features unique skills dedicated to the most ambitious OEM Integration projects and excels in the uncompromising Hi-End systems. This was made possible thanks to innovative functions born with the new software / firmware development and the upgrade of some key components in the audio signal path, which are crucial to reach new heights of listening pleasure.
The Audison bit One HD Virtuoso has the following Upgrades:
Higher quality hardware used:
- SILMIC Series ELNA capacitors specific for audio use.

September 4, 2019 -- The amount of technology needed to work on today’s automobiles is getting greater every year. We all know that. As an industry, we must keep educating ourselves to insure we can stay relevant.
Following the success of the EDUCAR trainings at Knowledgefest this year, Elettromedia-USA has announced a series of educational dealer trainings to be taught by Jason Kranitz of Kingpin University, and assisting Jason will be Lance Doss of EM-USA. The classes will be held at Kingpin University located in Las Vegas, NV.
The schedule includes “Fundamentals of Sound” to be held on September 17-18, “Mastering DSP” on October 16-17, “Masters Training” on November 2-4 (just prior to the SEMA Show) and the series will end with a repeat of “Mastering DSP” on December 4-5. (see full schedule below)
There is a small cost associated with each course depending upon the subject matter covered. Included are hotel accommodations and meals. Classes will be limited to 20 students and for those attending the class, EM-USA will provide FREE tools (specific to the training) that the students can take back to their shop. The overall concept is to combine knowledge, understanding and the “right tools” to grow skill levels while eliminating technical barriers.
The “Masters Training” will be by “invitation only” as EM-USA looks to harness the knowledge and expertise of our leading technicians to help steer future educational classes while teaching them some new skills and techniques.
Rob Wempe VP Sales and Marketing for EM-USA is passionate about offering these trainings because “it’s imperative that we educate and train our dealers to have the knowledge and confidence to implement integration solutions necessary to compete within the rapidly evolving technologies of today’s vehicles.” He went on to say, “Dealers need the knowledge, tools and products necessary to provide their customers with a fully integrated audio system upgrade and who better to provide this training than EM-USA. We have been pioneering DSP integration technology for over a decade. We also believe we must train new technicians to our industry. That is why we are offering our Fundamentals of Sound class.”
