STILLWATER, USA – KICKER® played host to more than a dozen dealers and rep firms this past week (May 8-11) during a two-day training and tour of KICKER Headquarters.

The group was the first to experience the vehicle outside of KICKER employees and will play for the first time in public at Slamology (Lucas Oil Speedway, Indianapolis) in mid-June.
“The Bronco was incredible, and so was the entire experience,” said Remy Viator of Showtime Electronics (Knoxville, Tenn.). “I was impressed with how well organized the company is and was blown away by everyone’s welcoming attitude.”
The 22-person class also got hands-on training with the SoloX reconing process, and later Global Training Manager Aaron Malin led the group on an extensive tour of the facility, including a chance to audition speakers in the company’s listening labs.
The week also included in-depth discussions with Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing Tom Heath, as well as the Vice President of Product Strategy Bart Deal.
Viator was impressed with the information and pace of the training.

“Along with blending in with the factory design, the unique cowl design provides a quieter and more aerodynamic installation compared with traditional LED light bar set-ups,” Hartenstein continued. “The polycarbonate housing is designed to match the styling of the factory hard top but can be installed of soft top Jeeps, as well. The system features selectable amber or white clearance lights, and you can choose to connect these lights to an aux switch, parking lights, DRL, or simply have them disconnected if you prefer not to use the additional clearance light feature.
The system matches the factory black hard top out-of-the-box but can also be painted to color match. Oracle Lighting recommends using a professional painter to properly prep, prime, and color match paint the housing.
“This new light bar system design utilizes reflector-facing LED technology, elevating it above basic and more common bars,” Hartenstein concluded. “This reflector system is designed to provide optimized LED light output from the individual LED emitters and project to a distance of more than 600 meters.”

High-Voltage Active Line Output Converters (LOCs)
These new LOCs have universal applications and enable installers to add aftermarket amplifiers to OEM source units to make factory systems sound great! This premium line showcases Proscenium’s focus on quality by featuring incredible input power capabilities, a load selector, a clip indicator, enhanced output controls, and noise isolation countermeasures. Proscenium will also offer an add-on product, the PR-RM-1, that plugs into their Pro Series and LD Series LOC products to provide an additional subwoofer level adjustment via an external bass knob. The PR-LOC product line will include a variety of options to fit installers' unique needs.
Premium Active LOCs with Bass Restoration:
Proscenium’s PR-BXLOC2 and PR-BXLOC2-PRO are compact 2-channel line output converters with active input circuitry, which allows them to accept speaker-level signals of up to 400 watts per channel from factory-installed source units or amplifiers. They convert them to high-quality preamp signals that can then be directed to aftermarket amplifiers.
The PR-BXLOC2 prevents factory audio systems from regulating lower frequencies and reducing the output of bass frequencies as the volume increases. A Bass-X restoration circuit in the LOC allows users to enjoy their music as it was recorded while maintaining the use of factory volume and steering wheel controls. The PR-BXLOC2-PRO includes all of these features, plus a ground isolation switch, multiple turn on modes, and built-in load resistors for use with factory radios or amplifiers that mute the audio signal when factory speakers are disconnected.
Premium Load Resistors
Proscenium's load resistors will solve common problems for installers adding aftermarket equipment while providing the best possible audio signal. For example, factory audio systems in modern vehicles are designed to mute the radio and/or amplifier output should a speaker fail or get disconnected. Proscenium load resistors prevent this so that installers can add aftermarket equipment. These products use specific values to allow for the best possible audio signal and safely stabilize the output of a factory audio system. Bridging the Gap through Gameplay

The park includes a gameplay experience where users can collect iconic chiclets and music gems to purchase in-game items from the Alpine store (located in various areas of the park). The in-game items, like an Alpine Subwoofer jetpack and a Green Chiclet Tee Shirt, are modeled after real Alpine products to bridge the gap between virtual and reality.
Outside of the gameplay, Alpine Park features a “playground” area staged with real products from the Alpine lineup scaled to larger-than-life sizes as a unique way for users to interact with and learn about Alpine product offerings. The park also features a “showroom” floor that’s modeled after an Alpine Experience Event, where users can experience virtual models of real Alpine demo vehicles, like “Hellbender,” the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sport with a tee shirt cannon, “Switchback,” the 2019 Jeep Gladiator with a mechanized truck bed with 40 oscillating Bluetooth speakers, and the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado with the Legendary Alpine R-Series sound system. These headlights include precision LED lighting projector for optimum light distribution and beam angle and installs using original mounting hardware and headlight wiring without requiring additional relays or harnesses. Halo is available in White or Amber LED and features more than 200 bright LEDs for a vivid lighting impact.
“These all-new headlamps provide enhanced driver visibility with increased and focused LED light output,” Hartenstein continued. “It features a high-precision sharp cut-off line which reduces glare and prevents blinding oncoming traffic even when installed on lifted Broncos. The package also includes a tool for easy beam angle adjustability.”
The new modular design allows separate components (turn signal, marker lights, and mounting tabs) to be installed independently and provides a smaller packaging size for lower shipping costs for the end user and prevents possible shipping damage. The modular design also allows for these individual components to be replaced or upgraded down the road when future options are available.
“It is undeniably important to implement proper thermal management tools for high-performance LEDs to operate with reliability in various environments,” Hartenstein explained. “Oculus utilizes both active and passive cooling methods to sustain low LED temperatures. Remote mounted heat sinks and an internal cooling fan work in conjunction to insure proper temperature control and longevity of the LEDs.”
