Las Vegas, NV – (April 15, 2024) – Audiomobile is pleased to announce the initial deliveries of their latest ‘Solopass’ compact enclosure systems. The all-new ‘SPEED’ (Stealth Perfect Engineered Enclosure Design) series, represent
a unique set of attractive solutions, tailored to specific platforms, to meet the needs of upscale specialty retailers.
Audiomobile has been in the business of delivering small form-factor subwoofer enclosures for over 8 years, and these new models represent the recent pivot, to focus on high-performance, “Drop-In” – or ‘Stealth’ subwoofer solutions, for popular Truck and SUV platforms. These advanced enclosures feature premium materials and construction and designed and manufactured in the USA, using advanced CAD and CNC production, to meet Audiomobile’s demanding standards.
Matt Overpeck, EVP of Audjomobile commented, “We have learned a great deal over the past several years, regarding the key factors, in producing upscale subwoofer enclosures, but it took some time to develop the optimal, synergistic blend of relevant designs, that serve to incorporate the latest manufacturing technologies. With the increased demand
for compact “form-factor” solutions, especially for the ubiquitous truck and SUV market, our goal was to craft the ideal combination of domestically manufactured, compact subwoofer solutions, while addressing both an array of popular ‘vehicle specific’ applications, but with unique capability to offer substantially greater platform application flexibility.”
Unlike the typical 5/8” domestic or PRC type material, every ‘SPEED’ and loaded ‘SoloPass’ enclosure employs premium, ¾” USA MDF, while the front baffle features a dual-layer ¾” (1.5” total), to insure maximum baffle rigidity and ‘flush-mount’ the drivers, for enhanced cosmetic appeal. This unique feature also allows many models to be easily ‘inverted,’ for “Down-fire” applications, using the optional, ‘Iso-feet’ kit. This unique feature also effectively ‘floats’ the enclosure, and which is especially useful in trunk and cargo / boot applications, where clients do not wish to compromise the utility of
their limited storage space – either under-seat or behind seats.
Key ‘SPEED’ Enclosure features include —
Premium ¾” USA MDF panels, featuring double front baffles, for extreme rigidity, plus flush-mounted drivers
Each model cross-braced and/or features ‘Dado’ construction and premium adhesives, to insure air-tight seal
“Open-System Architecture,” allows Dealers to tailor subwoofer systems for Impedance or power-handling
Premium, plush black carpet, or spray-on ‘bedliner’ coating, depending on specific vehicle or form-factor
All models feature Gold-plated, 8-gauge, 5-way binding terminals, to accept ‘Banana Plug’ for secure connections
The newest model, is for F-150 behind-seat, designed for dual Evo 8” (SSFR 225.2), delivers 800 watt power-handling and will ship at the end of the month. It will be followed this Spring with other models, including 10” Maverick, as well as F-150/Raptor, Ram 1500 ‘Classic,’ GM Silverado/Sierra, and Toyota Tacoma / Tundra – all dual 10” systems, plus other popular truck platforms.
