July 17, 2019 -- As our customers know, the product engineering team at ARC Audio is always working on new proprietary and sophisticated product designs that deliver world-class performance and features. Our efforts to protect these designs is paramount to ensure we offer our partner retailers and their customer's solutions that are unmatched in the mobile electronics industry.

As you may have seen in social media, there has been a sudden interest in Area 51 in Nevada. Known officially as Homey Airport, Area 51 is located 83 miles north-northwest of Las Vegas on the Nevada California border and is considered one of the US Governments most secretive of installations.

As of July 17, more than 1.5 million people have confirmed their intention to storm Area 51 and the surrounding areas with another 1.2 million expressing interest in the event.

With the sudden and significant interest in Area 51 and the surrounding areas, ARC Audio has been forced to implement its most extreme contingency plan to date. ARC Audio will commence the immediate extraction its newest product from its relative facilities in this affected area immediately. In the interest of security of our intellectual properties and new product designs, this new pre-production product of only 10 units in this secretive inventory is to be disassembled and distributed throughout the country to select locations to ensure that no single person, persons or entity will have access to our latest and greatest amplifier technologies.

Caution – if you encounter one of these ten units, exercise extreme caution. Do not under any circumstances open any crates or packaging. If you do so, you do so at your own risk. Please use exercise extreme caution in terms of high amplitude sound level protection at a safe distance. ARC Audio can not be held responsible for unauthorized interaction with the contents of these packages.

We thank all of our retail partners for their support in executing this contingency plan with as much efficiency and diplomacy as possible during these troubled times. We regret that the unwanted attention to the Area 51 region has forced our hand in taking these drastic steps to ensure we can continue to deliver the same quality products and service ARC Audio has been known for without other manufacturers cloning our projects.

Yours in Faith,

The ARC Audio Project Development Team

STILLWATER, USA – KICKER® has combined the mounting flexibility of a thin subwoofer to the added cone area of KICKER’s iconic L7 square subs, and then embedded it in a factory-tuned enclosure.  Dubbed the TL7T Loaded Enclosure, six versions of the thin-profile box are now available, both online and in-store at Authorized KICKER Dealers.

KICKER’s unique, patented square cone provides up to 20% additional cone area compared to a standard round sub of equal size, providing the listener with louder volume and deeper bass to enjoy, along with the ability to fit into the trickiest installations with its thin design.

Designed to fit perfectly under or behind a seat, each enclosure features plush black carpeting with rounded corners and custom embroidery. Inside the enclosure, thick MDF construction and heavy internal bracing offers strength and stability over years of use.

The L7T subwoofer’s extended top plate utilizes a patented “bumped” design, allowing extra excursion and long throw for deeper overall bass in an extremely thin design. KICKER’s UniPlate™ combines the pole piece and back plate, making them a single, seamless unit meant to pull away damaging heat from the sub. Perimeter venting is also used above the top plate, bringing additional cooling air in and around the motor.

KICKER’s SoloKon™ technology employs an injection-molded polypropylene cone and 360-degree back bracing as a single solid unit. The unique design assists in both cooling the motor and eliminating distortion. Patented ribbed corners are incorporated into the high-roll, Santoprene® surround, allowing the square suspension to move smoothly under high SPL stress and providing a loud, accurate response. KICKER then stitches the cone to the surround, providing an additional level of integrity.

Spring-loaded, nickel-plated binding posts are housed in a convenient terminal cup, accepting wires as large as eight gauge (8 AWG).

KICKER Performance Audio products, a division of Stillwater Designs and Audio, Inc.®, are available for the mobile and home audio aftermarket at authorized retailers worldwide, and also as Original Equipment for boat and automobile manufacturers. Consumers seeking more information on KICKER or Livin’ Loud® may call the Consumer Information Line at 1-800-256-5425 or visit the brand website at www.kicker.com. Holly Hill, FL – July 17, 2019 – Metra Electronics® is excited to be hosting six training sessions at the 2019 KnowledgeFest™ event in Dallas, Texas, for mobile electronics installers. As a Diamond Ultra sponsor, Metra is proud to support the industry by providing in-depth training sessions for installers which will outline upgraded vehicle safety systems, selling and installing lighting solutions, simplified installs with sound processors and the future of vehicle integration. Metra will also have product giveaways at each session for attendees. Installer Institute® will also be at the show, promoting their mobile electronics training programs and continuing education courses for existing installation professionals.

Both of the iBEAM training sessions, “Upgrading Vehicle Safety Systems with iBEAM,” will assist installers in identifying the essential selling points of safety and convenience, and will be held on Saturday, August 10th at 4:45 pm and Sunday, August 11th at 3:30 pm. Installing aftermarket cameras and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems in both consumer and commercial vehicles has become a significant revenue source for mobile electronics shops. Attendees will learn about iBEAM’s latest vehicle cameras, dashboard cameras with DVRs, replacement rearview mirrors, vehicle-specific solutions and commercial safety line. They’ll also learn about the hot-button selling points and features that consumers and fleet owners are asking for, plus installation tips for a better understanding of what is involved in an upgrade. Attendees will also have the chance to win product giveaways from iBEAM.

Heise will also be hosting two training sessions, “Selling and Installing Heise LED Lighting Solutions,” on Friday, August 9th at 1:45 pm and Sunday, August 11th at 4:45 pm. The recent popularity in aftermarket LED lighting presents a valuable opportunity for installers to go beyond car audio services, giving consumers a way to customize their ride and increase visibility in the dark. However, not all LED lights on the market are the same. This session will allow installers to learn about Heise’s unique features and selling points that have set this brand apart from the rest. This training will cover the new DRL lightbars, replacement LED headlights, RGB backlit lightbars, RGB accent lights and the new Municipality Series of safety lights for commercial equipment and fleet vehicles. Attendees will also have the chance to win product giveaways from Heise.

Axxess will be hosting two different training sessions. The first session, “Simplify your Installs with Axxess Digital Sound Processors,” will cover the entire Axxess AX-DSP product line and how these solutions can increase sales in the showroom and decrease time in the bay. The session will be hosted on Friday, August 9th at 3:00 pm. This session will show installers that upgrading a sound system doesn’t have to be complicated. This training will also go over and explain how to use the different types of applications offered within the AX-DSP line, including CAN-based systems, new A2B systems, MOST25, and MOST50 vehicle technology. As vehicle technology becomes more and more complex, installers can look for Metra’s patented DSP products to help simplify installation and provide affordable audio solutions for their customers.

The second Axxess training session on Saturday, August 10th at 6:00 pm, “The Future of Vehicles Integration with New Axxess Products,” explains that integration is the future of the aftermarket 12 volt industry - and it’s only getting more complex. With the reduction in OE radio chassis sizes, the rising popularity of tablet-style screens, and many of the personalization features controlled through the OE radio, it is difficult for shops to offer simple aftermarket solutions. Attendees will learn about new products from Axxess that have been engineered specifically to address the complexity of today’s integrated vehicle technology systems and retain key convenience and safety features when upgrading a radio. For consumers who want to keep their radio but add safety, navigation, smart device mirroring, or simply override the annoying STOP/START engine feature, installers can learn about these new products from Axxess that will make their customer’s ride much more enjoyable. Attendees will have the chance to win product giveaways from Axxess.

Metra’s customers can register for KnowledgeFest at no cost using Metra’s VIP code, available by request from their sales representative. Once registered for the event, attendees will also need to register online at KnowledgeFest.org for each training session they will attend. Metra will be at booth #601 from August 9-11, 2019 at the Dallas Convention Center. Additional information about the show, produced by the Mobile Electronics Association (MEA), is available at KnowledgeFest.org

Custom Underhood Sleeve Protection for Wires, Cables & Hoses In One Convenient Kit

Avon Lake, Ohio - The DEI Easy Loom™ Split Line Sleeving Master Kit has everything you need in one convenient kit to add protective split line sleeving for an entire vehicle. Ideal for wrapping wiring harnesses for an EFI conversion, DEI’s Easy Loom Split Line Sleeve Master Kit offers a solution to protect exposed wires, hoses and cables from heat and the elements. This can be especially important for high performance modified vehicles exposed to swings in temperature.

The kit provides a method to professionally customize an engine bay for show vehicles and builds, and can be used for any vehicle from hot rods, street rods, race vehicles, trucks/SUVs, as well as marine and ATV and UTV powersport vehicles. They are also ideal for replacing OEM wire looms or dressing up an engine bay, and are approved for use by most automotive OEMs.

Self-wrapping Easy Loom is lightweight, flexible and simple to install. Resistant to high temperatures and most automotive fluids, DEI’s Easy Loom Split Line Sleeves have a peak temp rating of 345°F temperature and maintains integrity at a continuous 300°F with a melting point of 500°F. The sleeving has a self-closing split design that has a 30% overlap to ensure a strong secure install. Easy to remove for maintenance and repair.

The kit includes five different diameter split sleeves (3/16”, 5/16”, ½”, ¾” and 1”) in addition to quality 3:1 shrink tube ends, silicone tape, nylon zip ties and electrical tape; ensuring that all required sizes are included and no return trips to get the right size.

Avon Lake, Ohio  - Heat and sound control specialist, DEI, now offers a sharp looking sound deadening headliner kit that improves interior comfort and sound quality for the Jeep® Wrangler JL. With the introduction of the JL model Jeep Wrangler in 2018, it has quickly become a popular off-road vehicle, despite the problems associated with interior noise that makes it difficult to have a conversation or listen to music. DEI’s solution is a sound deadening headliner kit that both insulates the interior from extreme heat and cold while reducing the transfer of noise for much improved interior sound quality.

DEI’s new headliner kit is now available for the 2018-2019, 4-door model in two finishes – Original and Leather Look. Original finish comes in three attractive colors: black, gray and white. Leather Look is available in black and gray only. This nine-piece headliner kit is also available with a matching four piece side window kit, also in either an Original or Leather Look finish. Two door models will be available later in 2019.

Made from marine grade foam that resists mold and mildew, and custom cut for the JL model, DEI’s JL Sound Deadening/Insulating Headliner Kit transforms the hard top to a sharp finished look; all while greatly improving sound quality and insulating the interior from extreme heat and cold. CNC machined for a perfect OE fit, this headliner includes full installation instructions to make this a simple and easy install in just a few hours. Simply peel, position in place and stick for a professional look that will dress up the interior and add value.
