STILLWATER, USA – This weekend KICKER® Audio will sponsor the Lone Star Throwdown (LST) for the sixth straight year. The show will take place Feb 26-28 at the Lone Star Expo Center in Conroe, Texas, and though KICKER will not have the physical presence it once had, the brand will still be represented by award-winning show trucks.

A past “Top 100” award winner, KICKER’s own Tim Smith will take his custom 1994 Chevy C1500 to the show. A member of KICKER’s Special Projects team, Smith runs a pair of KICKER IQ1000.5 5-channel amplifiers, KICKER Q-Class component speakers and KICKER CompRT® slim subwoofers as the cornerstone of his system.

On behalf of KICKER, LST promoters will offer credit of up to $2000 in KICKER audio equipment to a pair of lucky winners as part of show prize giveaways.

“One system always goes to the person that gets the ‘Hard-Luck Award’,” said Jarrod Dunahoo, one of the Showdown organizers. “The other system, in our travels throughout the weekend, we try to find a vehicle that could actually use a system. We call that the ‘Promoter’s Pick’.”

During the 10th anniversary of the popular show, more than 2,000 show cars have already pre-registered. LST officials anticipate attendance exceeding 15,000 people this year, with Top 100 and Best-of-Show awards being presented, along with a number of other cash prizes.

STILLWATER, USA – As a longtime supporter of the event, KICKER® returns to Slamology at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway – one of the largest car-audio and car-centric events in the country. Those attending can experience KICKER’s 80-foot XRV (Xtreme Recreational Vehicle) located on the south side of the venue in Audio Vendor Row, waiting for their shot at a “full-tilt demo session” inside the XRV Boom Room.

Slamology occurs June 11-12, and KICKER has supported the show since its inception nineteen years ago. Founder Donnie Babb bills the event as family-friendly, yet edgy.

“We wanted a way to connect with our readers at Gauge Magazine and have a weekend-long party,” Babb explained. “That brought in droves of people and made the show one of the largest car, truck and car-audio events in the world.”
In addition to Slamology’s well-earned reputation as a first-class car show, it is also known to be the premiere car-audio event on the planet. USACi, MECA, IASCA and Bass Wars will all conduct independent multi-point, car-audio competitions, featuring hundreds of the world’s best Sound-Quality and SPL competitors vying for championship points, trophies and prizes.

Slamology anticipates in excess of 2,000 show cars over the two-day event, with nearly 20,000 spectators expected to attend. The show also features live bands on stage, along with a tattoo competition, auto-limbo, a hydraulic contest, big rig show, bikini contest and more.

Simultaneously, USACi, MECA, IASCA and Bass Wars will all have independent, multi-point car-audio competitions, featuring hundreds of the world’s best Sound Quality and SPL competitors vying for much-desired championship points, trophies and prizes.

Slamology anticipates attendance in excess of 20,000 spectators. The show also features live, local bands on stage, along with a tattoo competition, auto-limbo, a hydraulic contest, big-rig show, bikini contest and more.

STILLWATER, USA – KICKER® returns to Bikes, Blues and BBQ, September 25-28 in the picturesque Northwest Arkansas region near and around the cities of Fayetteville, Rogers, Bentonville and Springdale.

During the weekend, Pig Trail Harley-Davidson® of Rogers will play host to the KICKER booth and motorcycle-audio specialists Hog City Customs (Springdale). As authorized KICKER dealers, HCC will be selling and installing custom KICKER motorcycle sound systems on-site during the course of the show. KICKER recently released new audio-upgrade kits for Harley-Davidson bikes.

The annual four-day show is packed with events, parties, concerts, and planned rides in and around the Ozarks. Rides range from as short as seven miles to as long as 210 miles, extending as far north as Joplin, Mo.

In addition to the planned rides, show-goers can attend a car-and-truck show on Saturday morning at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale. Later that day, the fifth annual Frisco Inferno BBQ Competition fires up in Rogers.

STILLWATER, USA – After several months of avoiding events due to COVID-19, KICKER® will once again take to the road this summer, this time for Slamology – one of the largest car-audio events in the country. The show will take place June 11-12 at Lucas Oil Raceway outside of Indianapolis.

A regular at events prior to the pandemic, KICKER has supported Slamology since its inception 19 years ago. In addition to Slamology’s well-earned reputation as a first-class car show, it is also known to be the premiere car-audio event on the planet. KICKER will attend the show with its 80-foot XRV (Xtreme Recreational Vehicle) tractor-trailer, which will be located in “Audio Vendor Row” on the south grounds. The KICKER road crew at the XRV will regularly conduct full-tilt demo sessions for audiophiles and those who enjoy loud bass.

Slamology founder Donnie Babb bills the event as family friendly, yet edgy.

“We wanted a way to connect with our readers at Gauge Magazine and have a weekend-long party,” said Babb. “That has brought in droves of people, and made the show one of the largest car, truck and audio events in the world.”

Slamology anticipates in excess of 2,000 show cars visiting for the two-day event, with nearly 20,000 spectators expected to attend. The show also features live, local-based bands on stage, along with other car show-type competitions and contests.

Simultaneously, USACi, MECA, IASCA and Bass Wars will all regulate independent multi-point, car-audio competitions, featuring hundreds of the world’s best Sound-Quality and SPL competitors vying for desired championship points, trophies and prizes.

STILLWATER, USA – Improved mounting flexibility and heightened sound quality are the hallmarks of KICKER’s most recent KS-Series Component Systems and Coaxial Speakers, new and improved for 2020 and now shipping to Authorized KICKER Dealers for purchase in-store and online. KS-Series Coaxials will retail from $49.95-$169.95, while KS-Series Component Systems will all retail for $249.95.

KICKER makes great sound easy to install, even in the most modern vehicles. Featuring zero-to-near-minimal tweeter protrusion and a thin-profile woofer design, KS-Series Coaxial Speakers easily fit behind almost any factory grille without interfering with factory door components. And the entire line of KS-Series Component Systems and Coaxials ship with adapters that allow them to fit many late-model vehicles.

KS-Series Coaxials include remarkably smooth silk-dome tweeters with neodymium magnets that deliver natural, detailed highs. The tweeters also include a beneficial auto-reset poly-switch to offer protection from excessive power and ultimately distortion.

KS-Series Speakers also include EVC™ (Extended Voice Coil) construction, allowing a greater range of movement and increased frequency response. Internally dampened polypropylene cones and durable rubber surrounds assist the woofers in creating precise midrange and bass.

A new model size for 2020, the KSC270 2-3/4-inch midrange/tweeter comes with three custom bracketing options, built specifically to fit many of today’s popular vehicles and their factory speaker locations.

The KS-Series Component Systems share the same woofer construction and features set as the coaxial models. To increase clarity, 25-millimeter, silk-dome tweeters with a trio of mounting options are included. A coaxial conversion kit is also included, allowing the phase plug to be replaced with a center post that attaches to the tweeter. A two-way, 12dB crossover with three-step tweeter attenuation is also included and fits perfectly behind nearly every door panel. The upgraded mounting options and acoustic control affords the listener outstanding customizability and even greater sound quality.
