Returning hosts Krista Marie and Damien Horne traveled coast-to-coast to visit legendary artists at truly spectacular and unique locations. Coffee with Jason Mraz at the Mraz Family Farm, sipping wine with Pat Monahan of Train at Concannon Vineyard in Northern California, riding horses with Jewel in the Colorado Rockies, filming Richard Marx as he performed at sunset on the beautiful cliffs of Malibu, an intimate evening with Clint Black at Analog at Hutton Hotel Nashville and jamming with the Marleys at the world famous Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. Shooting wrapped where it all began, with Gavin DeGraw at TGL Farms located near “Music City” Nashville, Tennessee. In-depth interviews with the artists revealed never-before-heard details behind their hit songs, the inspiration and how they became woven into the fabric of popular culture.

Other exciting additions to Season II are multi-artist themed episodes such as “Grammy Winners,” “Party Anthems,” “Love Songs,” “The Songwriters,” “Acoustic Sessions” and “Rockin’ Country.” These special shows incorporate performances from artists from Season II along with CeeLo Green, Don McLean, All-4-One, Big & Rich, Rome Ramirez, Dirty Heads, Rick Springfield, Lonestar, Travis Tritt, and Gretchen Wilson from Season I.

The 107-UN02 is a universal floating mount engineered exclusively for the Pioneer Modular Solutions DMH-C2500NEX and DMH-C2500NEX 6.8-inch touchscreen in-dash receivers*. The 107-UN02 is designed to "float" the modular Pioneer touchscreen display panel in front of a vehicle's original radio location using a series of included brackets, plus provide the ability to easily mount the Pioneer hide-away chassis into the radio/pocket location of more than 250 existing Metra Double-DIN kits for 1990 to current vehicle applications. This patent-pending solution completely encases the touchscreen display panel and works similar to Metra’s existing 108-UN02 and 109-UN02 floating mount kits for Pioneer. A vehicle-specific Double-DIN Metra dash kit, sold separately, is required for use with the 107-UN02.

Two new dash kits for 2011-2016 Mini Countryman and Mini Paceman models without the factory navigation are also in stock and shipping. The 107-MI1 is designed specifically for the 6.8-inch modular Pioneer receivers, the DMH-C2550NEX and DMH-C2500NEX*. The 108-MI1 is designed specifically for the Pioneer 8-inch DMH-C550NEX modular receiver*. Since there is limited space within the vehicle’s dashboard that is too small to fit a standard Double-DIN radio, Metra has solved this obstacle by utilizing the same design from the 107-UN02 to “float” the Pioneer touchscreen in the factory radio location. Both kits include a blank-out for the factory radio controls that are removed from the upper panel and have a patent-pending design. The high polished processing on these kits provides a look that’s similar to both the aftermarket radio and the vehicle’s factory finish.

Also available from Metra is the 95-7020 dash kit. This kit is for an ISO Double-DIN radio provision and designed to fit 2018-2020 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross ES models. It has high polished processing to give a gloss plastic look to match both the aftermarket radio and factory finish.

The weather-resistant sound system is built to withstand all the elements. The speakers are made from rugged, durable fiberglass, finished in a matt black coating that replicates the look of the Side-by-Side. The included clamps are durable and are attached to a rotating aluminum base coated for protection against the elements and adjustable up to 90-degrees for an optimal listening position. The speakers come with a weather-resistant plug for wiring. Additional wires, like power or speaker wire extensions to the amplifier, may be necessary for installation.

Upgrading dash technology can often result in a loss of factory controls, like steering wheel controls and access to engine codes. The iLX-F411 is compatible with the iDatalink® Maestro Module (sold separately) so vehicle information is retained and displayed on the large, 11-inch screen.

A reverse RCA camera input is included to add a rearview camera (sold separately) that overlays guidelines onto the camera image when in reverse. More cameras can be added with the KCX-C2600B Universal Front and Rear Camera Selector (sold separately).

While the iLX-F411 is mech-less (no CD/DVD player) an HDMI input and output is included to connect a CD, DVD player, or even a smartphone for an all-digital audio and video connection through a single cable.

Also new to the Alpine Halo platform is the KTX-HF11 Anti-Reflective Screen Protector, designed to shield the iLX-F411 from oils and dirt that can come from fingerprints. The KTX-HF11 is designed to follow the curves of the screen for a direct fit that keeps the screen looking new.

JBL BassPro Go is the first to market audio system for use both inside and outside the vehicle

A hybrid automobile subwoofer and portable speaker, this versatile speaker system connects music enthusiasts to JBL’s Signature Sound for an exceptional audio experience on-the-go.

When docked inside the vehicle’s trunk, the JBL BassPro Go adds powerful bass to the existing car audio system, delivering sound performance equivalent to a traditional aftermarket subwoofer system. Engineered with a subwoofer and two passive radiators, the sub system allows users enhance the bass response to their listening preferences.

The JBL BassPro Go also operates as a portable Bluetooth speaker when undocked from the vehicle. The speaker is designed to deliver big concert sound to outlast any tailgate or party with its 8 hours of play time. Holly Hill, FL – December 7, 2020 – Metra Electronics® will be a part of the virtual KnowledgeFest Live event, hosted December 11-13, 2020. This three-day event for mobile electronics industry professionals is hosted by the Mobile Electronics Association. Metra is proud to be a platinum sponsor and host three manufacturer training sessions online that will help dealers sell and install custom audio and lighting accessories for new Jeep® Wrangler and Gladiator models, powersports UTVs, and Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. Attendees will be able to interact with Metra’s sales team and participants will be able to ask questions during the live training sessions. Metra’s virtual booth will also feature videos of four of their sponsored vehicles, to give attendees a similar experience they would find had they toured the booth at an in-person event.

Training sessions will include the following topics:

“Upgrading the New Jeep® Wrangler JL and Gladiator” will be hosted on Friday, December 11 from 8:20 PM to 9:20 PM EST. Jeep® owners want to customize their rides to reflect their own personal style. With the new Gladiator and Wrangler JL models on the market, aftermarket audio and lighting products designed specifically for the new body style will be a hot item for the holiday season. In this training session, attendees will learn about Metra’s latest audio accessories, vehicle-specific lighting solutions and universal RGB underglow lighting from Metra and Heise LED Lighting Systems®. Metra will unbox the new products, give valuable tips for selling and installing these solutions, plus show a demo of the new RGB lighting controller and smartphone app.

“New Audio Accessories to Improve the System in UTVs” will be hosted on Saturday, December 12 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM EST. Powersports vehicles continue to be a popular opportunity for installers to add revenue outside traditional car audio installations. Attendees will learn about the newest solutions on the market for upgrading a Polaris RZR® and Polaris General® audio system with Ride Command® technology available from Metra PowerSports®. This training will also showcase new universal and vehicle-specific products designed for upgrading the power system and how to fit aftermarket speakers into Polaris®, Can-Am®, and other UTVs without custom fabrication.

“Lighting and Audio Upgrades for Harley-Davidson® Motorcycles” will be hosted on Sunday, December 13 from 4:10 PM to 5:10 PM EST. Attendees will learn how to cut down installation time on Harley-Davidson® audio and lighting upgrades using Saddle Tramp® products. The session reviews the new plug-n-play harnessing solutions that will reduce time in the bay when adding aftermarket speakers, amplifiers, Axxess DSPs, and RGB lighting to popular Harley-Davidson® models. Attendees will see how they can offer upgrades to make their customer’s motorcycles louder and more stylish, without the need for labor-intensive custom fabrication and wiring.

A completely gutted and rebuilt military van by the team at Throtl, dubbed “the coolest ice cream truck in the world,” will also be featured in a video that highlights their installation journey using Metra’s products.
