KENWOOD Showcases Alexa Built-In to 14 New Audio Receivers

LONG BEACH, CALIF. -- January 8th, 2020 -- KENWOOD USA showcased their completed line of 16 new audio receivers for 2020 at this year’s CES in Las Vegas, of which 14 feature Alexa Built-in. Bringing voice control conveniently to the dashboard, with the push of a clearly marked Alexa icon key, it’s now possible to find dining, fuel, shopping, weather, and control streaming media services like the SiriusXM® and Pandora mobile apps, all without picking up the phone.

These Full feature receivers include the KENWOOD eXcelon single din models; KDC-X704 (MSRP $209.95), KMM-X704 (MSRP $179.95), and KDC-X304 (MSRP $159.95), KENWOOD single din models; KDC-BT778HD (MSRP $199.95), KMM-BT728HD (MSRP $149.95), KMR-D378BT (MSRP $169.95), KDC-BT378U (MSRP $139.95), KDC-BT34 (MSRP $139.95), KMR-M328BT (MSRP $149.95), KMM-BT328U (MSRP $129.95), KDC-BT278U (w/o Alexa Built-in, MSRP $119.95), and KMM-BT228U (w/o Alexa Built-in, MSRP $99.95). Double DIN models include the KENWOOD eXcelon DPX794BH (MSRP $239.95), DPX594BT (MSRP $219.95), KEWOOD DPX504BT (MSRP $219.95), and DPX304MBT (MSRP $189.95).

Most models have already begun shipping, with the last few to hit the streets later this month. These models include 2 single DIN digital media (cd-less) receivers, the KENWOOD eXcelon KMM-X704 and KENWOOD KMM-BT728HD, as well as 1 double DIN CD audio receiver, the KENWOOD eXcelon DPX794BH. All 3 models feature built-in HD Radio® tuners, offering users the convenience of up to three extra HD stations from each frequency that’s being broadcast in digital sound, all with no monthly fees, and are also SiriusXM-Ready® (SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner and Subscription sold separately), providing access to over 150 channels of the widest variety of ad-free music, plus entertainment, news, comedy and sports you won’t hear anywhere else.

The DPX794BH tops the chart, adding a free 200mm Escutcheon (trim bezel) for a seamless look in select Japanese and other vehicles, along with dual (front and rear) USB inputs, their largest buttons to date, and 3 lines of text display. Also shipping this month will be the marine/motorsports models, the KMR-D378BT and the KMR-M328BT.
