Auburn Hills, Mich. (June 21, 2023) – Alps Alpine North America, Inc. (“Alpine”) will offer training and certification opportunities for Alpine Authorized Retailers and Distributors on the new Alpine OPTIM™8 8-Channel Hi-Res Sound Processor and Amplifier with Automatic Sound Tuning.

Alpine will travel to 11 cities across the country’s west coast, midwest, and east coast regions and feature an in-depth product training session, demos in an OPTIM™8-equipped vehicle, and exclusive event-only specials and giveaways.

“We’re excited to offer this nationwide training to our network of dedicated Alpine Authorized Retailers who are invested in deepening their understanding of the Alpine Product Line,” said Mike Anderson, Executive Director of the Alps Alpine Brand Business Unit. “By bringing this product training directly to our dealers, we’re able to provide a pure Alpine Brand experience while offering valuable sales and marketing tactics for this exciting new product.”

Launched earlier this month, the Alpine OPTIM™8 entered the market as a solution to the pain points associated with digital sound processors by offering an automatic sound tuning function that can tune an entire sound system in five minutes. The traveling training event was created as a way for Alpine Authorized Retailers to experience this groundbreaking product firsthand and become “Alpine OPTIM™8 Certified.”

The Alpine OPTIM™8 training events started in California this week and will continue across the country during the 2023 summer season. All U.S. Alpine Authorized Retailers are encouraged to find and register for an Alpine OPTIM™8 Roadshow event near them by talking to their Alpine Representative.

Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. has redesigned its website for the U.S. aftermarket.  The website -- www.alpine-usa.com -- prominently features the Alpine Restyle dash systems while still supporting the entire aftermarket product line.
Over the past two years, the company has shifted its focus to the Alpine Restyle series of products.  As a result, the website was redesigned to highlight the Alpine Restyle dash systems and give users a full experience of the products and how they integrate in the vehicle.  The centerpiece product is the X009, a 9-inch screen system with audio, video, navigation and Bluetooth® features that comes with a vehicle specific dash kit and harness. Since each X009 system is compatible with a specific vehicle, it is important for users to see each product installed in an actual vehicle dashboard.
“The new website, like our other Alpine Restyle marketing initiatives, is designed to increase awareness amongst consumers about our vehicle specific dash systems in an easy-to-understand format.  The website annually receives around four million unique visitors, so it plays a vital part in driving them to authorized Alpine retailers for a premium product experience,” said Steve Crawford, vice president and general manager, aftermarket business unit, Alpine Electronics of America, Inc.
The first images that greet users on the home page are large rotating billboards for select products and promotions.  The recently launched Alpine Restyle cable TV commercial currently occupies one of the billboard spots.  The remainder of the home page highlights the Alpine Restyle 9-inch dash systems which are featured in the “New Restyle Arrivals” area.  Clicking on any of the images takes the user to a dedicated product page for that system.
To further support the Alpine Restyle dash systems, a new “Restyle My Truck” dash configurator is available from the home page menu bar.  To get started, users are prompted to select the make, model, vehicle trim and dash trim of their truck or SUV.  Once done, the 9-inch and/or 8-inch Restyle dash system that is compatible with their vehicle is presented.  By choosing the desired Restyle dash system and pressing the “Restyle My Truck” button, the applicable product page is served and provides the user with detailed information about the system.  A “Contact an Expert” button is found on every 9-inch and 8-inch Restyle dash system product page and connects the user to an authorized Alpine retailer near their location.
Social media engagement provides another way for Alpine to connect with its fans, and enthusiastic consumers and retailers often share photos of Alpine products installed in their vehicles.  To optimize the valuable trove of Alpine photos on the web, an “Alpine Owner’s Showcase” was implemented on the website’s homepage.  A photo collage of 9-inch Alpine Restyle dash systems installed in various vehicles shows how the 9-inch screen transforms the dash while providing a factory-like finish.  The photos are captured from Alpine’s Facebook (facebook.com/AlpineUSA), Instagram (instagram.com/AlpineUSA) and Twitter (twitter.com/AlpineUSA) feeds and are continually updated.  Information about the authorized Alpine retailer who installed the system is displayed when applicable.
All Alpine products are accessible through the “Products” button on the menu bar.  The Alpine Restyle systems appear first in the Products section, but users can quickly jump to other Alpine products by pressing the “Alpine Products” button in the top black border.  All other Alpine products are grouped by category for easy identification.
Back-end improvements have also been applied to the website for enhanced overall usability.  The website utilizes a responsive design so that the content layout automatically adjusts to the size of the screen that is in use.  This design ensures a consistent page experience no matter the device (smartphone, tablet, laptop, etc.) that is being used.

Detroit -- October 29, 2019 – Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. will attend the 2019 SEMA Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada from Tuesday, November 5 – Friday, November 8 along with an anticipated 70,000 industry professionals.

Alpine will join aftermarket truck and SUV accessory supplier, Smittybilt, in South Hall Upper in the Powersports & Utility Vehicles section (booth #35061) where they will give product demonstrations in Alpine’s new 2020 Jeep® Gladiator, Switchback.

Switchback is loaded with Alpine’s 9-inch X409-WRA-JL Weather-Resistant Navigation System with Off-Road Mode, a direct-fit solution for the new 2018 – Up Jeep® Wrangler and 2020 Jeep® Gladiator, and a PSS-23WRA Powered System Upgrade.

Drawing from industry research and Voice of Customer technology gathered at national Jeep® events, Alpine was inspired to create a demo vehicle that resonated with the Jeep® community’s weekend trips near or on the beach by creating an interior system designed for top on or off use.

The X409-WRA-JL is a direct-fit dash solution made up of a large, 9-inch screen housed in a matching trim bezel that’s resistant to weather and various outdoor elements like sand and dirt. The high-visibility screen can adjust to high or low-light driving conditions for cleaner, brighter images even with the top off.

The PSS-23WRA sound system solution is also weather-resistant and designed for excellent sound performance with the top on or off. The included PWE-S8 Powered Subwoofer is installed under the passenger’s seat to maximize bass extension throughout the Jeep and deliver a front and center sound stage for optimized performance.

Following Alpine’s recent move to their new headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan, the Brand Business Unit, originally located in Torrance, California, engaged Alpine’s OEM Unit to collaborate on the build and promote an increasing synergy within company operations. Elements of the build were utilized from products designed by the OEM unit.

The tailgate is designed to look like an early Alpine stereo, with a large functional volume knob and six classic “Alpine green” buttons on the faceplate to control the automation. The bed houses a motorized assembly with 40 Bluetooth® speakers that articulate for optimal sound positioning. Three 12-inch R-Series subwoofers are also installed in the bed for bass extension and increased volume. LED lights are placed around the speaker installation for added aesthetic.

The intention of the build is to deliver an exceptional interior experience that can extend to the exterior of the vehicle, for continued entertainment inside or outside of the Jeep®, no matter the weather conditions. Additional collaborators include Smittybilt, Pro Comp, Rubicon Express, and G2 Axle and Gear.

Outside of SEMA, Switchback will be touring with the Alpine Event Truck and Trailer at Jeep lifestyle events. For more information on Alpine’s event schedule, follow Alpine-USA on Facebook for updates on future events.

Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. introduced the newest Digital Signal Processor (DSP) to their lineup with the PXE-X09 Hi-Resolution Wireless DSP. The PXE-X09 includes 16 channels for seamless aftermarket sound integration and tuning tools that correct acoustical abnormalities in vehicle interiors. The PXE-X09 debuted today during the 2020 International CES, taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center from Jan. 7-10.

January 7, 2020 -- “The PXE-X09 is for the discerning audio consumers who are looking for a better music experience in their vehicle,” said Mike Anderson, Vice President and General Manager, Brand Business Unit, Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. “Its versatile application with a factory or aftermarket system makes it the ideal sound upgrade. Consumers can access the onboard tone generator from their smartphone for on-the-fly adjustments.”

OEM Integration

The PXE-X09 has the necessary tools for OEM system integration. The processor is versatile and can be used with a factory system, Alpine head unit, or other aftermarket head unit while adding aftermarket amplifiers or speakers through the flexibility of the 16-channel multi-use inputs

The PXE-X09 includes a built-in Real-Time Analyzer (RTA) to gauge the sound system’s performance in reference to how it responds to the acoustical abnormalities in the vehicle. Ten bands of equalization per channel can flatten the input signal for real-time sound adjustments to develop a well-balanced response and proper center sound stage.

PC and Smartphone Control

Building off the success of the PXE-0850’s HMI (Human-Machine Interface), the PXE-X09 includes PC and smartphone control for real-time, wireless tuning adjustments using Bluetooth® technology and the “PXE-X09” smartphone or PC app (available on the App Store® and Google Play™).

The included remote controller with rotary knob can be installed on the dashboard for quick volume and bass adjustments and source selection. Music can be streamed using the PXE-X09’s Bluetooth® connection and played through the existing speakers.

On-Board Quick Setup

The PXE-X09 includes a configuration wizard that gives quick identification to the components in the factory system then appropriately sums the channels to get a full-range signal.

The PXE-X09 will ship in March for $1,500 SRI and will be for sale at Alpine Authorized retailers or online at www.alpine-usa.com through Crutchfield. Installation options can be found on the Alpine-USA website through the store locator.

Third-party driving maps like Google Maps and Waze are available through Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™, or in areas that don’t have strong cellphone service, the X409-WRA-JL comes equipped with built-in navigation with Turn-By-Turn and Pinch-to-Zoom maps of the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico with The Latest Map Guarantee.

Display up to eight accessories directly from the touchscreen by adding the optional KAC-001 External Accessory Controller. Assign graphical icons to the accessories for quick identification and control through a pulsed, latched or momentary output.
