These products are designed for the back of the boat to light up the water and are constructed of stainless steel 316 housing and are IP68 certified to withstand the harsh marine environment. These high-output underwater lights come in a variety of sizes and range from 15 watts all the way up to 72 watts of light, designed for a surface mount. The transom lights are available in white, blue, RGB or RGBW (RGB LEDs with a pure white light option).

Metra Marine will also feature new drain plug LED lights for the transom, allowing the installer to add lighting using the existing drain plug holes to avoid drilling new holes into the boat. The drain plug lights are constructed with high quality materials and are IP68 certified. These underwater lights are available in two sizes. The small 9W drain plug is available in white, blue, green or RGB with a brass housing and the large 27W drain plug is available in RGB with stainless steel housing.

The HE-MULB-WA is a 38.2” rear window lightbar with 32 LEDs designed for higher voltage applications that work with both 12 and 24 volt systems. Lighting up a work area is essential for efficiency and safety on or off the road and being able to record the lit area helps protect drivers and companies against liability issues. “By bolting this machine screw (through the back of the enclosure directly to the backplate of the subwoofer) you will minimize 'box flexing' and reduce the airspace needed in the box itself. Minimizing box flexing will increase efficiency by converting the wasted electrical power from the amplifier, directly to the mechanical linear subwoofer cone's movement, which will minimize distortion and add more efficient bass reproduction. Without this new design you would traditionally need around an inch or more from the back of the subwoofer to the back of the box.” Says Corey Hyler, Product Manager for Massive Audio.

On the back of the SUMMO64S you will find a removable machined screw. Simply remove the screw, load the subwoofer in the enclosure so that the back of the box is flush with the back of the subwoofer, then replace the screw through the back of the enclosure to the baffle of the subwoofer. This design will allow a unique advantage of bracing the front baffle, the subwoofer and the back baffle together as one, which will make the subwoofer and the enclosure as one plane. This will not only make for a smaller box but more importantly add more bass! This is due to the energy not being spent on box flexing and in turn producing more low frequency output!

TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA, December 23, 2019 – Rydeen Mobile Electronics, a cutting-edge electronics designer and manufacturer dedicated exclusively to advanced vehicle driver safety, announces a new and unique 360-degree video rearview replacement mirror with built-in touch capable 10-inch HD monitor.  Unlike other mirrors that can capture and record DVR video, the Rydeen Tombo360 DVR Mirror also houses a 360-degree 4K High Definition digital video camera. Tombo, which means “dragonfly” in Japanese, symbolizes the capability of All-Seeing-Vision. It provides a full view of both the inside and outside of the vehicle from the vantage point of the rearview mirror.

The stunning 10-inch frameless mirror embeds a full-length touchscreen that controls and displays streaming 4K video.  The single 360-degree camera streams and records video from all sides of the car. Users can then choose to display the front of the car, sides of the car and the rear seat, for monitoring passengers.

The mirror can also work with a backup camera with HD video quality. 

Users can swipe left and right on the mirror to view the particular perspective they wish to see.  They can also set the mirror to show split screen views of multiple angles (including left and right-side lanes or front view plus backseat). See quick video clip.

When the DVR mirror is off, it becomes a normal reflective mirror, however, the video recording can continue in the background.

What makes this product so unique is that the Tombo360 can show a 360-degree view simultaneously on all multiple view selections for complete viewing coverage. The Tombo360 mirror can also stream video from behind the car and automatically switch to a rear view when the car is in reverse.

In the future, Rydeen will add 4G/5G capability to the Tombo360, so that it becomes a “virtual technology hub” for any car, including older vehicles.  With the optional wireless 4G/5G connection, parents can check on teen drivers in real time, viewing both the car cabin AND the surroundings of the car, or owners may view a parked car’s condition and surroundings at any time.  If a car was damaged while parked overnight, the owner can view video footage of the incident directly from the mirror or on their smartphone or tablet from the cloud storage.

Our system uses a Sony® Hi-Res CMOS sensor with advanced HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, adjusting lighting conditions for clarity and perfect resolution in any situation.  This is important when the outside lighting is bright and sunny, but the inside cabin lighting is darker.  Rydeen has overcome this lighting challenge, which continues to plague most other systems.

Users may change the camera angle to face the front. Then the Tombo360 mirror can view the right and left views beyond the A-pillar of a vehicle to see the outside view without obstacles. It can automatically change the screen view for blind spot elimination. The mirror also automatically triggers the optional rear camera when the car is placed in reverse, offering a seamless system for all driving directions.

National Sales Meeting In San Diego

December 23, 2019 -- Memphis Audio treated their sales force to a trip to sunny San Diego California for a two-day national sales meeting and new product kickoff event. Members of the Memphis home office staff made the trip out west to play host to the event and conduct a day worth of informative trainings and new product showcases at the Hard Rock hotel in San Diego.

Arthur Fulmer III, owner of Memphis Audio kicked off the ceremony with positive notes about the bright future of the 55-year-old audio brand and encouraged everyone to focus on all the ways Memphis can help their dealers succeed in 2020.

The sales team delved deep into the new product offerings from Memphis, most of which will debut at CES 2020 live at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. There was a strong emphasis on direct fit OEM offerings and solution-based products which were well received and created a buzz amongst the Memphis sales staff.

Memphis introduced Larry Williamson and Jeremy Slaven from Lucky 7 Customs who have partnered with Memphis to fabricate the best roof audio solutions for side-by-sides in the business. The duo detailed the build process for the roofs and pointed out the significant improvements and upgrades to the build quality that they are implementing. They noted the enhancements in the quality and consistency of the wiring as well the their new shipping quality standards they are implementing to ensure the items will be delivered without damage to a dealers doorstep. Memphis went on to introduce their new powersports direct fit OEM side-by-side kits which offer dealers a plug and play solution for the most popular machines in the powersports industry. The sales team left the meeting with an impressive array of new powersports offerings which will allow their dealers to have an extremely successful new year.

After the meetings concluded, the group was treated to a fun-filled outing to Tavern & Bowl for a private event with stand-up comedy, dinner, drinks and good times. Toronto, Ontario -- December 16, 2019 -- A date and venue have been announced for the inaugural 2020 Canadian Mobile Audio Expo. Car audio and 12-volt accessory manufacturers, distributors and retailers from across Canada are invited to congregate in Toronto at the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel & Conference Centre on April 5, 6, and 7, 2020.

The event will serve three key functions for the 12-volt industry. First, retailers will get hands-on experience and training on the latest products and solutions for the 2020 season. Second, we have arranged educational seminars featuring many of the top fabricators and trainers in the industry to teach new installation, sales and management skills. Finally, and most importantly, the Canadian Mobile Audio Expo is an opportunity for retailers to network with their peers from around the country.

The Fletcher location will become the 40 year old family owned retailer’s seventh physical store location in the greater Charlotte area.
