High-Quality Rearview Mirror with 9.8-Inch Built-in Monitor and Forward-Facing Camera - The rearview mirror provides the driver peace of mind by giving them the exact same view they would have as if they were standing outside of the vehicle. At 60 frames per second, the full-sized touchscreen monitor provides a fluid visual with almost no lag, thanks to the LVDS signal. The built-in forward-facing camera has a 170-degree view with 1080p resolution.

Rearview Camera - The kit includes a dedicated 1080p HD rearview camera with a 130-degree viewing angle. This outside mounted camera increases the field of vision by an estimated 300 percent over traditional rearview mirrors.

1080p HD DVR - The DVR can automatically record both the forward-facing and rearview camera simultaneously while driving. It also offers a menu option to start and record any activity (forward and rear) for the amount of time selected by the user. While this DVR supports up to 64GB of storage on a Micro-SD card (sold separately), it is also equipped with a G-sensor that activates in the event of a collision to lock in the recording, preserving potentially vital video evidence of the accident. The built-in GPS antenna also provides a DVR timestamp for additionally critical video evidence.

Installation Accessories - A universal footprint mount is included to allow an easy and seamless install. (Use the TE-M06 to work with other vehicle applications, sold separately. New Pro Commercial DVRs from iBeam Vehicle Safety Systems® will Debut at 2018 CES

Holly Hill, FL - December 18, 2017 – iBeam Vehicle Safety Systems® by Metra Electronics® is expanding their Pro Commercial line with two new DVRs, launching at 2018 CES. Fleet owners can record and store potentially vital video footage related to traffic collisions or other incidents, from up to four channels simultaneously.  iBeam’s TE-CDVR-4 and TE-CDVR-G DVRs are designed for commercial use, with the microSD card concealed behind a key-locked security door to prevent tampering with video evidence. The DVRs support up to a 256GB microSD card and video files can also be backed up via USB, offering a secure solution for fleet owners.

The TE-CDVR-G has a built-in GPS feature, which provides a location stamp on the video feed to ensure a comprehensive account of the vehicle whereabouts. It works with camera resolutions up to 720p. Both DVRs include 4 Pin DIN inputs for four camera feeds and video output for setup and video playback. iBeam’s 16GB MicroSD card, the TE-16SD, is sold separately.

On display will be a 9" Live View Streaming Rearview Mirror, a 4K Dual-View Dash Camera With DVR, a Universal Hardwire USB, and a variety of vehicle-specific Rearview Mirror T-Harnesses. These products are designed to increase safety for an assortment of vehicles and are easy to install.

9" Live View Streaming Rearview Mirror

iBEAM's new Universal 9" Live View Streaming Rearview Mirror, the TE-LVM9, provides full protection for the area surrounding the rear of your vehicle. This package includes the mirror, a 1080P camera, mounting hardware, a required harness, and other wiring for easy installation. When driving, a standard reflective mirror is displayed, but when the driver switches the vehicle into reverse, the built-in 9" monitor will automatically switch to the rear camera to provide guidance when reversing. This monitor also features an option to display a live stream of the rear camera when driving so that the driver has a clear view of what is behind their vehicle on the road. A G-sensor triggers the camera to begin recording if it detects an impact, so the vehicle is even protected when parked. A memory card of up to 64GB is supported so that video recordings can be saved and any accidents or incidents behind the vehicle are documented. This product is ideal for trucks, vans, RVs, and other large vehicles with rear blind spots. The TE-LVM9 is in stock and shipping.

4K Dual-View Dash Camera With DVR

iBEAM will also introduce a new high-resolution dual-view camera with DVR at The SEMA Show. It captures and displays a 140° wide-angle field of view to protect drivers from liability and increase safety. It quickly and easily mounts on your windshield to view and record the area in front of and inside your vehicle. Each lens can be directed toward the front windshield to view what is ahead of the vehicle, toward the vehicle's interior, or out the rear window to capture the view directly behind the vehicle. Both angles can be displayed simultaneously on the built-in 3-inch viewing screen that sits atop the two camera lenses. This dash camera features 4K HD recording, including audio which can be stored on a micro memory card of up to 32 GB. The TE-DVR-DL4K will be available and shipping soon.

Universal Hardwire USB

Another new product on display will be the TE-UNIV-USB, a new 2-amp, 5-volt Universal Hardwire USB. This innovative solution allows installers to conveniently and safely connect and power a vehicle camera or any other USB device. It connects directly to your vehicle's 12V power source to provide an alternative to the factory auxiliary power outlet.

Rearview Mirror T-Harnesses

iBEAM is also debuting plug-n-play rearview mirror T-harnesses that make connecting a vehicle safety and security camera easy without cutting your vehicle's factory wiring. These vehicle-specific T-harnesses include a 2-amp, 5-volt USB, which accommodates both USB "A" to Mini "A" and USB "A" to Micro "B" connections. Wireless 4.3-Inch Mirror Monitor and Camera

Upgrading vehicle safety features can be fast with iBEAM’s universal TE-WKMR43 kit. The wireless clip-on rearview mirror monitor attaches to the factory mirror and uses the included DC socket power adapter and wireless backup camera. The DC power socket includes an additional USB port for smart device charging. Video on the 4.3-inch LCD mirror monitor is triggered by the camera’s signal and has a 20m/65ft range. The camera can be surface mounted or mounted to the license plate for optimal placement. This kit is ideal for use with factory rearview mirrors that are difficult to replace or may have built-in features that the driver would like to retain.

Wireless 5-Inch Monitor and Camera Kit

The universal TE-WKMN5 provides an instant upgrade in driver visibility with a large 5-inch wireless LCD monitor that is automatically triggered by the wireless camera signal. The kit includes a license plate camera mount and two mounting options for the monitor; a dashboard suction cup mount or a windshield mount. The monitor is powered by DC socket power, which includes an additional USB port for smart device charging. Video on the 5-inch LCD monitor is triggered by the camera’s signal and has a 20m/65ft range. Multi-Mount Cameras

iBEAM’s four new multi-mount cameras provide an unobstructed rear view that can stay active while the vehicle is on, not just when it is in reverse. These cameras are ideal for drivers with blind spots or limited visibility in the back or rear cargo area who would like to keep an eye on their cargo, trailer hitch, or rear area while driving. These cameras feature metal housing, an improved power circuit, and include multiple mounts for easy installation behind the license plate or to surface mount under the trunk lid.
