All New MOJO 15” Subwoofer - Bigger is Better

Memphis launched the 12” MJ1212 MOJO subwoofer earlier this year at KnowledgeFest to massive industry response. The immediate question everywhere was, “When are we getting a 15?” Memphis heard it loud and clear. The result made its public debut at SEMA 2025 — the new MJ1512 MOJO 15” subwoofer — bringing a larger footprint and increased output capability to the MOJO lineup.

MOJO has always been known as a high-output subwoofer, and this new version stays true to that reputation. The orange cast basket and large high-roll surround are a nod to earlier MOJO designs that Memphis fans still remember. The gloss carbon fiber dust cap keeps the cone rigid and lightweight while giving the woofer a clean, modern look in any enclosure.

A new SR Pro audio enclosure is coming to the market courtesy of the team at Memphis Audio. This 500/1000 Watt enclosure features Memphis Audio’s brand new SR Pro 10” mids paired with dual SR Pro horn tweeters making it one of the loudest pro audio boxes available. The SRXPE10D4F showcases a stunning display of RGB LED lights which include a center illuminated dust cap and rear mounted ring lights on the mids and fully translucent illuminating tweeters creating an awesome lightshow. A handle is incorporated into the body of the box to allow for easy transportation in and outside of vehicles making this an awesome accessory for anyone wanting the ability to fill a space with an absurd amount of sound.

We built the prototype and began showing it off and it was clear that we had a winner on our hands and people loved the old school concept of the box. 5-8-2017 -- Memphis Audio’s new MOJO Pro speakers are now shipping to dealers across the country.  These pro component speakers received a complete overhaul in 2017 and now are louder than ever, according to the company. 

Mojo Pro component speakers are designed to scream and push extreme highs and mid bass to complement even the most overbearing subwoofer setups. The 8” and 6.5” speakers are capable of handling an impressive 125W RMS and 200W RMS, respectively, thanks to their accordion cloth surrounds allowing for extreme excursion and overbuilt mechanics.These new speakers feature a reinforced paper cone allowing for the loud performance and crisp sound that is essential for a quality pro component system. 

The new MOJO pro speakers received a cosmetic and performance overhaul which is noticeable at first look.  A large copper phase plug now prominently sits in the center of the woofers which not only gives a high end look and feel but also extendsthe frequency response by guiding the waves towards the listener resulting in a performance enhancement. The woofers also feature an aggressive thick wide mesh grill giving it a beefed up impressive look that consumers love, according to the company.

Another addition to the MOJO Pro line is a full component set featuring 6.5” Mojo Pro woofers, crossovers and Memphis Audio’s new MJPHT tweeter.  This new model of tweeter is a slightly more budget-friendly addition to the MOJO pro line which can also be purchased separately. This raw aluminum tweeter is still capable of throwing out impressive highs but at a slightly lower price point than the Memphis MOJO Pro MJPT tweeters that enthusiasts of loud love.  MOJO Pro component speakers are now available individually or in the 6.5” component set at Memphis Audio dealers around the country.

The DJ Diesel V2 Slingshot will be on display at SEMA 2022 in the Memphis Audio Booth #11039 in the North Hall along with a slew of new innovative product offerings from Memphis Audio

Ocotber 26, 2022 -- Memphis will unveil a fully custom Slingshot built for Shaquille O’Neil in the Memphis Audio booth 11039 at SEMA 2022. This custom Polaris Slingshot will feature a slew of Memphis Audio products with over 28 total SR Pro Audio speakers and over 5400W of RMS power making it one of the loudest Slingshots to ever hit the streets. The Insanely talented team at Underground Auto Styling out of Sarasota Florida custom fabricated everything on the build to make it worthy of DJ Diesel himself.

“This build is going to be wild. We’ve got four 10 inch mid’s, eight 8 inch mid’s, four 6.5’s, two 6x9’s and six tweeters integrated into this build, not to mention four 8 inch subs,” said Jack Polubinski, owner of Underground Autostyling. Along with a plethora of speakers, the build will feature dual VIV1500.1V2 amplifiers and four VIV600.4V2 amplifiers. The entire system is controlled by an MXAZ24MC head unit and all the speakers are digitally tuned using the VIV68DSP Digital Sound Processor.

“This isn’t the first project Memphis has worked on with Shaq, we had the honor of being part of previous custom builds for him but we wanted this one to be special. Shaq aka DJ Diesel knows how to get the crowd going and we know he wanted it loud so Memphis and the guys at Underground Autostyling went with an insane SRX Pro set up to give Shaq the loudest build on the block. I have zero doubt that this will be one of the most insane builds at SEMA 2022,” said Nick LoMonaco, president of Memphis Audio.
