Auburn Hills, Mich. (April. 29, 2019) -- Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. - As part of the company’s mission to strengthen its investment in the 12-Volt independent retail channel, Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. has committed to a Diamond ULTRA Partnership with the Mobile Electronics® Association (MEA) for 2019 – 2020. As the facilitator to a growing network of retailers, manufacturers, and service providers of automotive aftermarket technology products, the MEA provides educational resources and networking opportunities that directly support the independent mobile electronics specialist channel.

The Diamond ULTRA partnership will increase Alpine's presence at MEA-sponsored KnowledgeFest events, a key event for 12-Volt independent retailers. Moving forward, Alpine will have priority access to event space selection as well as a larger booth space for demo vehicles and product displays. The company will also gain hours for event training sessions to create more face time with 12-Volt retailers, as well as an elevated brand presence in events and Mobile Electronics Magazine marketing to all MEA dealer and audience members. The next KnowledgeFest event is August 9 – 11 at the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas, Texas.

Since 2018, Alpine has continued to help the 12-Volt independent retail industry grow their Alpine business through the addition of seven new Brand Specialist positions who service 12-Volt independent retailers with products, sales, and marketing support.

Additionally, Alpine created the "X-Perience" event, a pop-up event facilitated by Brand Specialists and exclusively held at Authorized Alpine retailers. X-Perience events feature Alpine-branded demo vehicles that showcase the Alpine Halo9 iLX-309 9-inch AV Receiver with a complete X-Series sound system. At the event, attendees can take advantage of event-only promotions and free giveaways, all with the intent to drive sales, increase shop awareness, and ultimately foot traffic to the 12-Volt retailer stores. Alpine anticipates a total of 200 events in 2019.

Stay updated on Alpine's investment in the 12-Volt industry by subscribing to the monthly Mobile Electronics Magazine that features insights from MEA KnowledgeFest events and product information from the automotive aftermarket industry. Ann Arbor, MI -- May 7, 2019 -- Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. is now shipping three new powered sound systems for select Toyota trucks. The new models are the PSU-300FRN for the Toyota 4Runner® (2010-Up), PSU-300TCM for the Toyota Tacoma® (2016-Up), and the PSU-300TND for the Toyota Tundra® (2014-Up). Each system is compatible with the truck models that do not have the optional factory amplified sound system.

The three models are direct-fit sound system upgrades that are simple-to-use and enhance the overall sound performance of the factory sound system. Each system is pre-tuned to match the respective truck, eliminating the need to make tedious adjustments to the sound system.

All models are 300-watt systems which include an 8-inch powered subwoofer and a compact 4-channel amplifier. The products are pre-assembled onto vehicle-specific brackets and come with vehicle-specific wiring harnesses for easy plug-and-play installation.

The compact size of the subwoofer allows it and the amplifier to be installed under the front passenger’s seat (or under the left rear seat for the Tacoma) for optimal sound performance and placement that won’t occupy useable space in the vehicle. The included remote bass knob provides convenient control of the bass level right from the dash.

All models are compatible with the base factory Toyota radio, an Alpine universal head unit, or other aftermarket head unit. They are available now at authorized Alpine retailers at $800 each. Visit www.alpine-usa.com for a store locator.

April 23, 2019 -- For those who want to enjoy the power of a subwoofer in vehicles that are exposed to the elements, Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. is now shipping the KTA-30MW Mono Weather Resistant Tough Power Pack Amplifier, a compact, mini-amplifier that features Alpine's exclusive Dynamic Peak Power (DPP) technology.

A small, but powerful amplifier, the KTA-30MW measures at just 9-3/16” W x 1-5/8” H x 3-3/4” D while delivering 600 DPP watts of powerful bass output to the subwoofer of your choice. Compatible with an aftermarket or factory head unit, the small size of the amplifier provides a bass boost without the big space commitment.

The KTA-30MW is half the size of our smallest traditional amplifiers, making it fit where most amplifiers won't. Tuck it under dashes, stash it in a motorcycle's saddlebags, or in other places where a larger amplifier may not fit. You'll find that you won't have to sacrifice space for sound quality.

Additionally, the KTA-30MW has a weather resistance rating of IP66 for protection against dust ingress and high-pressure water spray, so you can enjoy Alpine’s premium sound quality in exposed installations like side-by-sides, boats, open-top vehicles, and motorcycles saddlebags.

Get more power and impact with the KTA-30MW which features Alpine’s exclusive amplifier technology, DPP. Dynamic Peak Power is engineered to adapt to musical needs by delivering bursts of power during dynamic musical passages to essentially double the amplifier's power, without increasing its size.

The KTA-30MW is available now at authorized Alpine retailers for $330 SRI and includes the amplifier, weather-resistant chassis, and waterproof connector. Visit www.alpine-usa.com for a store locator.

The compact amplifier can PowerStack to the iLX-W650 AV System

March 26, 2019 -- Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. is now shipping the new KTA-450 Power Pack amplifier. This compact amplifier boasts a smaller footprint than its predecessors and can connect to the new iLX-W650 mech-less 7-inch audio/video (AV) system via the exclusive PowerStack design.

The KTA-450 Power Pack amplifier measures just 7” W x 3.5” H x 1.25” D. It uses a Class D amplifier circuit and features Alpine’s exclusive amplifier technology, Dynamic Peak Power (DPP), which intelligently adjusts the gain to adapt to musical needs. It prevents the amplifier from clipping by delivering bursts of power during dynamic musical passages to essentially double the amplifier’s power without increasing its size.

The iLX-W650 is a powered AM/FM/Digital Media Receiver with a seven-inch capacitive touch screen. It features Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility, Bluetooth® wireless technology, a USB port, and is SiriusXM-Ready™ (requires a SiriusXM® tuner and subscription, sold separately). Volume and song tracks can be controlled via a no-look, two-finger swipe motion anywhere on the screen. The iLX-W650’s shallow chassis measures just 2.4-inches deep, so it fits in vehicles that do not have a lot of depth behind the dashboard or in other applications that have a limited amount of space.

Although the KTA-450 and iLX-W650 are sold as separate pieces, they can also be combined to create a powerful sound system. The KTA-450’s small footprint allows it to fit behind and connect to the iLX-W650 using the included bracket, creating Alpine’s exclusive PowerStack design. This PowerStacked system produces 400-watts DPP in the same amount of space as a standard 2-DIN model but without the bulk of a traditional amplifier. This industry-first design was named a 2019 CES Innovation Awards winner in the In-Vehicle Audio/Video category.

The KTA-450 is available for $230 SRI and the iLX-W650 is available for $500 SRI. Both products can be found at authorized Alpine retailers.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (Dec. 08, 2021) – Alps Alpine Co., Ltd. a leading manufacturer of electronic components and automotive infotainment systems, and its domestic marketing division Alpine Electronics of America, Inc., is now shipping the third generation of AlpineF#1Status.

The Pinnacle of Car Audio

When it comes to experiencing music, nothing compares to a live performance. From incredible details like the breath of the artist between passages to the electrifying energy felt in the beat of every kick drum, live music creates an unparalleled emotional experience in every song. Now, this level of performance can be experienced in a vehicle with AlpineF#1Status System.

AlpineF#1Status is the first complete premium car audio system that can reproduce Hi-Resolution Audio Playback, bringing the experience of a live performance closer than ever before inside the challenging vehicle interior environment, making it the pinnacle of car audio.

High-Resolution Audio Playback

AlpineF#1Status represents the best that car audio technology can offer using the most important medium at the time. The first generation of AlpineF#1Status in 2001 focused on perfecting Compact Disc (CD) reproduction, the highest spec of its time (44.1kHz x 16bit). In 2004, the second generation shifted to DVD Audio™, which exceeded CD in data storage and playback quality. The third and current generation of AlpineF#1Status addresses the future of car audio: High-Resolution Audio (Hi-Res).

AlpineF#1 Status is the first car audio system in the industry to achieve 384kHz/32bit Hi-Res Audio Playback, the highest recording spec possible in a car audio system. This is more than 17 times the amount of digital audio data in a standard CD (44.1kHz x 16bit) and exceeds the standard Hi-Res spec (192kHZ x 24 bit). Hi-Res Audio Playback reproduces the details that are lost in lower-quality, compressed file formats. These details, like the breath of the artist or subtle interactions with the instruments, contribute to a listening experience that was once previously exclusive to a live performance.

As consumer listening habits shift from CD to digital streaming services, Hi-Res Audio Playback is quickly becoming the new benchmark for music reproduction. AlpineF#1Status exceeds the standards for this level of performance. To deliver this experience, each component in the system was designed in perfect synchronization to handle the ultra-Hi-Res audio files.

Unique Hi-Res Audio Source

To achieve 384kHz/32bit Hi-Res Audio Playback, AlpineF#1Status needed a source and a method that could get this level of Hi-Res audio files in the vehicle. Alpine partnered with Astell & Kern to create a custom, portable Digital Audio Player (DAP) for the AlpineF#1Status system. The DAP-7909 can host up to 780 Hi-Res files and is compatible with a variety of audio formats (.Wav, .Flac, AAC, etc.).

The DAP connects directly with the AlpineF#1Status Head Unit via USB. Longtime fans of the Alpine brand will appreciate the six-button “chiclet” design of the AlpineF#1Status HDS-7909 Head Unit Commander. The HDS-7909 controls the media on the DAP-7909 and sends the digital content to the HDP-H900 Digital Signal Processor (DSP) via a custom A2B data bus, which supports the Hi-Res Audio spec. As a bonus, the DAP can also be used as a standalone audio player.

The Workhorse of the System

To reproduce a live performance experience in the challenging vehicle interior environment is no easy feat. From the off-center positioning of the listener to the variety of materials in the cabin and even the internal cabin temperature, the vehicle introduces acoustic challenges that contribute to a lower quality sound experience.

To overcome these challenges, the AlpineF#1Status system features an HDP-H900 Digital Signal Processor (DSP) with the industry’s first Master Clock Management System, a high-performance crystal clock housed in an oven-controlled case at the heart of the DSP. Every component in the AlpineF#1Status system references this clock which results in ultra-Hi-Res playback without any jitter (timing errors) in the system, which is common in a system with independent components.

The HDP-H900 runs up to 1GHz/64Bit, comparable to the processing power of a high-end computer’s central processing unit (CPU), to achieve accurate sound tuning for High-Resolution audio playback at 384kHz/32Bit. High-performance sound processing gives the acoustic system tuner the tools to ensure that each speaker’s sound arrives at the listener’s ears at the same time, while also accounting for the vehicle’s unique interior environment, to maintain the integrity of the sound and ensure accurate High-Resolution Playback. The results are perfect synchronization and music that stays faithful to the artist's original intentions.

Once the files are processed, the signal is sent to the HDA-F900 4-Channel Amplifier via Pro Audio Balanced XLR cables, which allows a full eight volts to be sent with virtually no noise and results in the most accurate sound reproduction possible.

Hi-Res Audio Playback requires that every speaker component plays within its optimal frequency band. From the tweeter to the subwoofer, the AlpineF#1Status HDZ-9000 4-way speaker system uses the same high-performance cone material, Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP).

By using the same cone material throughout the speaker system, rather than using a specific material or structure for each component’s frequency band, the sound maintains the same timbre and characteristic across the entire audible and inaudible frequency range. Each speaker component is designed to cover a wider range of playback spectrum giving the tuner a wider range of adjustability. The HDZ-9000 speakers also feature proprietary Alpine technologies, that include DDDrive, DDLinear, and Dual Emission, which work together to maximize accuracy and reduce distortion between speakers.

The HDZ-9000 4-Way Speakers feature an HDZ-9000SW 11” Subwoofer, pairs of HDZ-9000WF 6.5” Midbass Speakers, HDZ-9000MID 2.5” Midrange Speakers, and HDZ-9000TW 1” Tweeters for a true stereo image.

A Complete Audio System

Each component of the AlpineF#1Status system was designed to ensure that the system play at its intended Hi-Res spec. To reach this level of performance, the system’s signal path uses custom connectivity, including XLR cables and A2B, because of their ability to accurately support the Hi-Res spec. This makes the AlpineF#1Status system an all-inclusive, complete system designed in perfect synchronization.

While AlpineF#1Status was designed as a complete system, there is flexibility to add or retain a head unit other than the included HDS-7909. The HDP-H900 DSP includes a traditional RCA input, and up to six channels of high-level input, that can be used to retain the vehicle’s factory head unit or add an aftermarket head unit, which is valuable for the audio enthusiast who relies on smartphone connectivity and features, like Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, or Bluetooth®.

Whether retaining the factory head unit, upgrading to an aftermarket head unit, or using the AlpineF#1Status HDS-7909 Head Unit, the result is still a cohesive system that works in perfect synchronization to reproduce the highest level of performance available in the challenging vehicle interior environment.

AlpineF#1Status is exclusively available as a complete sound system at a M.A.P. of $35,000. An additional HDZ-9000SW 11” Subwoofer is available if more bass is desired at a M.A.P. of $2,600 (sold separately). AlpineF#1Status is available for purchase at AlpineF#1Status Authorized Retailers. A list of retailers can be found on www.alpine-usa.om/alpineflagship/wheretobuy.

High-Resolution Specs

The iLX-F511 and iLX-F509 feature High-Resolution Audio Playback (96kHz/24Bit) to bring out the full potential of music in the vehicle. They also include a WXGA High-Resolution Display (1280x720px) for an elevated driving experience.

Features like Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and built-in Bluetooth® hands-free calling with audio streaming allows access to music, messages, phone calls, and maps on a smartphone via a wired USB connection or wirelessly. These features are controlled through touch or voice commands with the included external microphone. The receivers are SiriusXM-Ready® (SXV-300G2 2018-Up Connect Vehicle Tuner Kit sold separately; SiriusXM subscription required) and include built-in HD Radio® for additional entertainment options.

While the Alpine Halo platform has always featured a floating style display with adjustable screen height and depth, a new pressure tile mechanism allows for more flexibility when positioning the angle of the screen for optimized viewing and access to dash and HVAC controls.

Exciting System Expandability Options

The iLX-F511 and iLX-F509 include two camera inputs to add a front, side or rearview camera (sold separately). The rearview camera includes a distance guide display that overlays guidelines onto the screen for ease when moving in reverse.

When used with the DVR-C320R Premium 1080P Front and Rear Dash Camera with built-in drive assist (sold separately), the iLX-F511 and iLX-F509 can display real-time and recorded drives in high-definition and provide audible drive assist alerts like front collision, lane departure, and front car movement through the vehicle’s speakers.

On-board tuning features bring out the full potential of music playback with a 13-band parametric EQ per channel, for continuous frequency control. The 6-channel time correction ensures that music is staged properly in the front and center of the vehicle. Additional amplifiers can be added using the three sets of true 4V preamp outputs with front, rear, and subwoofer control if more power is needed.

The new RUX-H02 Alpine Halo Bass and Volume Controller (sold separately) easily mounts to the Alpine Halo Displays and allows quick-access controls to the subwoofer and main volume through a wireless Bluetooth® connection. The sleek, tapered lines and silver trim of the RUX-H02 compliments the Alpine Halo Display design. The RUX-H02 is expected to ship Summer of 2022.

The iLX-F511 and iLX-F509 are Digital Media Receivers (no CD/DVD player). However, an HDMI input and output are included to connect a DVD player or even a smartphone for an all-digital audio and video connection through a single cable.

Convenient System Compatibility

Upgrading dash technology can often result in a loss of factory functionality such as steering wheel controls and access to engine codes. However, the iLX-F511 and iLX-F509 are compatible with the iDatalink® Maestro Module (sold separately) allowing select OEM features to be retained and vehicle information displayed on the screen.

The iLX-F511 and iLX-F509 are now shipping at a MAP of $1399.95 and $1199.95 respectively and are available at Alpine Authorized retailers and at Preferred Online Stores. Installation options can be found on the Alpine-USA website through the store locator.

Torrance, Calif. (Sept. 6, 2018)-- Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. is now shipping its first Tough Power Pack amplifier, the KTA-30FW. This compact, weather resistant amplifier delivers a sound boost to a variety of vehicles and can also be used in motorsports and marine applications.

Two models of Tough Power Pack amplifiers are being introduced, which are the 4-channel KTA-30FW and the upcoming mono KTA-30MW. A new feature debuting in the Tough Power Pack models is Alpine’s exclusive Dynamic Peak Power (D.P.P.) technology which delivers additional bursts of power during dynamic musical passages. To accommodate the extra bursts of power, the amplifier quickly increases its internal gain level and supplies additional stored current. This effectively doubles the power for short periods of time and prevents the amplifier from clipping during dynamic sections of music at high volumes. Each model measures just 9-3/16” W x 1-5/8” H x 3-3/4” D so despite the small footprint, the D.P.P. technology boosts the amplifier’s performance to 600 watts D.P.P., making it sound like an amplifier with double the power at maximum output.

Tough Power Pack amplifiers represent a new category extension, since they are the first weather resistant versions of the Alpine’s popular Power Pack amplifiers. The amplifiers are weather resistant with an IP66 rating, so they’re protected from dust ingress and high-pressure water spray. They feature high-quality, weather resistant connectors which make them a good fit for use in exposed areas such as side-by-sides, boats, open-top vehicles, and motorcycles. The amplifiers’ compact footprint allows them to be tucked away under the dash or hidden in limited-space areas, and they have connections on just one side for easy access to controls.

The KTA-30FW is available now at authorized Alpine retailers for $330 SRI, and the KTA-30MW will be available in October for $330 SRI. Visit www.alpine-usa.com for a store locator.

7-inch screen with fitted dash bezel represents a new Alpine Restyle format for the Wrangler

Torrance, Calif. (Sept. 21, 2017) – Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. is now shipping the i207-WRA, a mech-less audio/video (A/V) system with 7-inch touch screen for 2007-2017 Jeep Wranglers. It’s the first 7-inch Alpine Restyle aftermarket system to come with a dash bezel fitted for the Wrangler.

“Alpine has established the 9-inch Alpine Restyle system as the most integrated and stylish way to upgrade the dash of a Wrangler,” said Steve Crawford, vice president and general manager, aftermarket business unit, Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. “The i207-WRA continues the Alpine Restyle lineup at a convenient 7-inch screen size that’s compatible with Wranglers as far back as 2007.”

Everything Needed in the Box

The i207-WRA is an all-in-one Wrangler in-dash solution that comes with everything needed for installation, including some parts designed specifically for the needs of the Wrangler owner. A metal rear bracket is included to hold the unit stable during rocky trail rides. A loaded wire harness allows for plug-and-play installation to the Wrangler, while additional harnesses are supplied for optional add-ons like the KAC-001 External Accessory Control Module and KCX-C250MC Multi-Camera Selector.

The i207-WRA comes with an iDatalink Maestro® module to retain select Wrangler controls like the voice activated media player, voice activated Bluetooth® wireless technology, steering wheel controls, premium audio amplifier integration and visual parking assistance. Select vehicle information like tire pressure, battery voltage, door status, engine codes and user customizable gauges can also be displayed on the screen (retained features and vehicle information will vary by model year).

User Interface and Smartphone Connectivity

The 7-inch WVGA capacitive touch screen is surrounded by a dash bezel that is fitted for the Wrangler, creating a factory-like look for the system. It has a 4-way swipe action user interface (left, right, up or down) for quick access to commonly used features.

The system is optimized for wired connectivity with an iPhone or Android™ smartphone. The i207-WRA “Works with Apple CarPlay,” so iPhone owners can use Apple CarPlay™ to make and receive calls, access text messages, play music, and get directions optimized for traffic conditions in a way that allows them to stay focused on the road. CarPlay features are accessed through the i207-WRA’s touch screen or through Siri voice control using the “Voice” button. CarPlay is compatible with iPhone 5 and later.

The i207-WRA is also Android Auto™ Compatible. Android Auto was designed with safety in mind. With larger touch targets, a simplified interface, and easy-to-use voice actions, it's designed to minimize distraction so drivers can stay focused on the road (requires both a USB cable and Bluetooth connection; requires an Android™ phone running 5.0 [Lollipop] or higher and the Android Auto app). Android Auto is accessed through the touch screen or through voice control using the “Voice” button.

The i207-WRA does not have a built-in navigation system but users can get navigation guidance from maps on Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, with driving directions are displayed on the 7-inch screen. The i207-WRA has hard keys for direct access to smartphone functions like navigation, “Now Playing,” and voice control. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto also provide access to popular apps such as Spotify, Waze (via Android Auto only), Amazon Music, and more.

Entertainment Features

The i207-WRA has Bluetooth® wireless technology for calls and audio streaming. Audio sources include AM/FM, a built-in HD Radio™ receiver, Pandora control from a smartphone, and FLAC file playback via USB. The i207-WRA is SiriusXM-Ready™ (tuner and subscription sold separately) and customized sound tuning is available through the free Alpine TuneIt® App. An HDMI input is available for video entertainment (HDMI cable sold separately), and DVD or CD playback can be added through the DVE-5300 Add-on DVD Player (sold separately). If the i207-WRA is connected to the DVE-5300, HDMI capability can be retained through the KCX-630HD HDMI Selector Interface (sold separately).

System Expansion

Wranglers are often customized with accessories like a motorized tonneau cover and winch, but these accessories frequently require control switches to be installed on the dash. The KAC-001 External Accessory Control Module (sold separately) turns the i207-WRA into a hub for touch screen control of up to eight add-on electrical accessories, eliminating the need for switches on the dash. The i207-WRA comes with one camera input that can be assigned for a front or rear camera. If the Wrangler has two or three camera systems, the KCX-C250MC Multi-Camera Selector allows them to be centrally controlled from the i207-WRA’s 7-inch touchscreen (KCX-C250MC and cameras sold separately).

The i207-WRA is now available for $1,200 SRI at authorized Alpine retailers, visit www.alpine-usa.com for a store locator.

With the highest quality recording of accident footage and license plate capture, the new Premium Dash Camera Systems allow you to drive with confidence.

Drive with Confidence

While dash cameras have historically occupied a space in the rideshare industry, Alpine recognized an opportunity in the drive assist category for customers who were looking to protect their vehicle and those inside it.

Alpine’s new line of Premium Dash Camera Systems are designed to capture the action outside and inside your vehicle with the highest quality recording for accident footage, license plate capture, and internal cabin monitoring.

Featuring Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology, the dash cameras automatically adjust the exposure and white balance during sudden changes to the light so whether you’re driving in high sunlight or backing out of a garage, your drive is captured.

Capture Your Drive

The DVR-C310R attaches to a universal mounting bracket for easy installation on your dash while the DVR-C320R mounts directly to the inside of the windshield. Both cameras include a secondary camera that can be mounted inside the cabin for internal cabin monitoring or positioned on the rear windshield for rear-video footage.

Both cameras have GPS to capture proof of speed, with an external plug-in GPS for the DVR-C310R and built-in GPS for the DVR-C320R.

Built-in Wi-Fi allows you to quickly transfer files to your phone, avoiding data loss emergencies, and also includes a 32GB SD card for additional recording storage. The dash cameras are App and PC viewer-ready to access your dash recordings in a pinch. Download the free ALPINE Recording Viewer app to view real-time and past recordings and control various camera configurations now available on the App Store or Google Play™

Alpine Multimedia Receiver Control

While both dash cameras will capture your drive, the DVR-C320R Premium Dash Camera System includes additional drive assist features and function control through select Alpine Multimedia Receivers with Rear-Seat Entertainment (when iDatalink® Maestro® is not in use). By connecting the DVR-C320R to your Alpine Multimedia Receiver via a universal RCA video output, you’ll get a view of your dash camera recordings on your screen and access drive assist features like front collision warnings, lane departure warnings, front car movement warnings.

Additional safety features like night vision allow you to capture footage even in the dark.

Torrance, Calif. (May 25, 2017) – Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. is shipping its new aftermarket sound system for the Jeep Wrangler which delivers bass performance whether the Wrangler has the top on or off. This 9-speaker system, the PSS-21WRA, is now available in North America.

“Based on our activities and research for the Alpine Restyle vehicle-specific solutions, we uncovered further needs from Wrangler owners that went beyond in-dash products. The PSS-21WRA directly addresses their request for a system that delivers improved sound performance even when the Wrangler’s top is off,” said Steve Crawford, vice president and general manager, aftermarket business unit, Alpine Electronics of America, Inc.

The PSS-21WRA is a direct fit sound system for 2015-2017 4-door Jeep Wranglers that do not have the factory upgrade sound system. The 320-watt system consists of the PWE-S8 powered subwoofer with under seat mounting brackets, SPT-70 6.5-inch 2-way component speakers with 1-inch silk dome tweeters, SPT-71 6.5-inch 2-way component speakers with 1-inch premium silk dome tweeters, an MRV-F300 V-Power 4-channel amplifier with mounting brackets, remote bass knob, and wiring harnesses. Installation accessories are supplied and include materials to help improve the overall sound quality. The speakers are direct replacements for the factory speakers in the dashboard and sound bar. The powered subwoofer is also available as a stand-alone model (PWE-S8-WRA) and comes with Wrangler-specific installation brackets.

It can be difficult to get good bass extension when driving with the Wrangler top off due to the exposed cabin, yet existing subwoofer solutions for the Wrangler take up valuable storage space. The PSS-21WRA tackles these problems by mounting the subwoofer and amplifier under the front passenger’s seat with the supplied Wrangler-specific brackets. Aside from using minimal space, this design lets the lower frequency sound load and disperse into the passenger’s foot well, thereby maximizing the bass extension throughout the Wrangler even when the top is off.

The PSS-21WRA is compatible with any Jeep Wrangler Alpine Restyle dash system, the base factory radio or other aftermarket head units.

The PSS-21WRA is available now for $1,500 SRI at authorized Alpine retailers, visit www.alpine-usa.com for a store locator.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (Sept. 2, 2020) – Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. is now shipping the Alpine Halo Preloaded Subwoofers Enclosures with ProLink™. Preloaded with Alpine’s S and R-Series 10-inch (S-SB10V and R-SB10V) and 12-inch (S-SB12V and R-SB12V) subwoofers, these enclosures feature new ProLink™ technology that allows the customer to link two enclosures together using the 10-inch (KTX-H10) and 12-inch (KTX-H12) optional Linking Kit. Six individual products give the customer the flexibility to choose their desired level of bass.

Introducing ProLink™

Alpine’s new ProLink™ technology was designed as an approachable and flexible upgrade path for the customer who has a single subwoofer but craves more bass in their sound system. While the previous option was to throw out the single enclosure and purchase a new dual enclosure, Alpine came up with a design that allows the customer to build on to their existing bass.

With Alpine’s new ProLink™ technology, the customer can link two single enclosures together using an optional Linking Kit (sold separately) to create a dual subwoofer enclosure. Unique to Alpine, this design gives the customer the flexibility in power and price to use a single subwoofer or add another subwoofer when more bass is desired.

New Alpine Halo Design Identity

The Alpine Halo platform has a unique design that’s known in the industry for sleek, tapered lines and a clean silver finish that modernizes the look and feel of any vehicle.

Taking cues from this groundbreaking design, the Alpine Halo Preloaded Subwoofer Enclosures with ProLink™ feature the same unique, curved edges, outlined by silver trim. This matching look creates a new Alpine Halo Design Identity and allows the customer to purchase a complete display and sound system that elevates the interior of the vehicle.

Optimal Sound Performance

As most preloaded subwoofer enclosures are similar in design and function, it can be difficult to find a uniquely designed enclosure that also optimizes your sound system’s performance. The Alpine Halo Preloaded Subwoofer Enclosures with ProLink™ are built for function and form.

The ported enclosure design features an optimized vent and rounded internal port edges that maximize the output performance of the subwoofer. The result is a higher total sound output for deep, powerful bass, reliable sound reproduction, and overall great sound quality.

Made from ¾-inch medium density fiberboard (MDF), the enclosures are built with sturdy, wooden, internal edge bracing around the corners of the enclosure for a system that’s built for reliable performance.  Covered with a rugged, yet stylish black carpet cover, brush aluminum finish on the front baffle and finished with the Halo-inspired Silver trim, the subwoofers offer a custom look without the custom work.

Tuned for Alpine’s S and R-Series

The Alpine Halo Preloaded Subwoofer Enclosures with ProLink™ come preloaded with an S-Series or R-Series 10-inch or 12-inch option which compliments each family’s complete sound system offerings.

The S-Series Preloaded Subwoofer Enclosures give the customer the best in performance value. With a preloaded S-Series subwoofer, the enclosures are tuned for optimized performance with Alpine’s S-Series speakers and are compatible with the S-A60M Mono Power Amplifier.

The R-Series Preloaded Subwoofer Enclosures are for the customer that’s looking for a loud and fun performance. The preloaded R-Series subwoofer is tuned to perform well alongside Alpine’s R-Series speakers and is compatible with the R-A75M Mono Power Amplifier.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (Dec. 21, 2020) – Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. is now shipping the iLX-F411 Alpine Halo11 Multimedia Receiver with an 11-inch floating touchscreen display. The Alpine Halo11 is the culmination of the Alpine Halo platform.

The Largest Display on the Market

Since the first Alpine Halo9 iLX-F309 display in 2018, the Alpine Halo display platform has made waves in the industry for its oversized screen, “floating” display, and versatile installation. The sleek, tapered edges outlined in silver trim, along with the smartphone integration technology, modernizes the technology in any dash that can house a single-DIN receiver.

Not resting on their laurels, Alpine Electronics decided to go big in 2020 and create the largest aftermarket display on the market with the 11-inch iLX-F411 Alpine Halo11 Multimedia Receiver. The 11-inch display has 49% more surface area than the 9-inch display, with larger icons and a user experience that replicates a smartphone.

While the iLX-F411 is larger, the display still maintains the same versatility as the other Alpine Halo displays with a mount that allows the display to be positioned in such a way that it won’t block HVAC controls.

The Best of the Alpine Halo Platform

When it comes to customer needs, Alpine keeps its finger on the pulse. The iLX-F411 is the culmination of everything customers love about the Alpine Halo platform, including three customizable home screens, media expandability with HDMI connectivity, and iDatalink® Maestro Module compatibility.

Features like Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and built-in Bluetooth® hands-free calling and audio streaming allow access to music, texts, phone calls, and maps on a smartphone via USB or smartphone connection and controlled through touch or voice commands with the included external microphone.

SiriusXM® Radio is available with an optional tuner and paid subscription for even more music and entertainment.

System Compatibility

Upgrading dash technology can often result in a loss of factory controls, like steering wheel controls and access to engine codes. The iLX-F411 is compatible with the iDatalink® Maestro Module (sold separately) so vehicle information is retained and displayed on the large, 11-inch screen.

A reverse RCA camera input is included to add a rearview camera (sold separately) that overlays guidelines onto the camera image when in reverse. More cameras can be added with the KCX-C2600B Universal Front and Rear Camera Selector (sold separately).

While the iLX-F411 is mech-less (no CD/DVD player) an HDMI input and output is included to connect a CD, DVD player, or even a smartphone for an all-digital audio and video connection through a single cable.

Also new to the Alpine Halo platform is the KTX-HF11 Anti-Reflective Screen Protector, designed to shield the iLX-F411 from oils and dirt that can come from fingerprints. The KTX-HF11 is designed to follow the curves of the screen for a direct fit that keeps the screen looking new.

The iLX-F411 and KTX-HF11 are now shipping for $999.95 and $29.95, respectively, and will be available at Alpine Authorized retailers or online at www.alpine-usa.com through Crutchfield. Installation options can be found on the Alpine-USA website through the store locator.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (July 27, 2020) – Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. is now shipping the KTA-200M Mono Power Pack Amplifier. Utilizing the compact Power Pack design, the KTA-200M mounts behind the iLX-W650 7-inch Mech-Less Audio/Video Receiver to become Alpine’s newest PowerStack™ product.

A Simple Way to Add Bass
In 2018, Alpine introduced the KTA-450 4-Channel Power Pack Amplifier with PowerStack™ and it took the industry by storm. Customers loved how easy it was to add four channels of Dynamic Peak Power (D.P.P) to their iLX-W650 without the bulk of a traditional amplifier.

Through extensive research, Alpine found that many of these customers dedicated their budget to upgrade their sound system with a subwoofer – an upgrade that provides the most audible impact – so they required an amplifier solution that provided an easy avenue to add more bass.

With the highest performance value on the market, the KTA-200M is perfect for the customer looking for a quick and easy bass upgrade. The small footprint of the KTA-200M allows the amplifier to be mounted directly to the shallow chassis of the iLX-W650 for an easy, hideaway solution that provides the customer with a clear path to add bass to their sound system.

Reliable Performance
The KTA-200M features Alpine’s exclusive Dynamic Peak Power (D.P.P.) technology that doubles in power during “dynamic” musical passages. D.P.P. adjusts the gain of the amplifier to produce 400-watts of D.P.P. power for clean and impactful bass and then rolls back to 200-watts dynamically to maintain long-term efficiency. The ratio of power to price is unmatched in the industry.

New to the Power Pack platform is the voltage adapting circuit. This circuit maintains maximum source level without clipping for powerful, clean bass even at high volumes and dynamic musical passages.

System Compatibility
The KTA-200M mounts directly behind Alpine’s iLX-W650 to create Alpine’s unique PowerStack™ application. The compact footprint of the amplifier (7-inch W x 1.5-inch H x 3.5-inch D) and the shallow chassis of the iLX-W650 (1.9-inch D) occupies the same depth as a traditional 2-DIN chassis, resulting in an easy, hideaway bass solution that adds more power to the sound system without taking up space.

The simple attachment to the iLX-W650 allows the mobile electronics specialist to provide a total system package for the customer that simplifies the installation process, making it a cost-effective upgrade for the customer.

The KTA-200M has input capability to add the RUX-KNOB.2 Remote Bass Control Knob (sold separately). The remote bass knob controls the bass in the subwoofer by adjusting the gain on the amplifier for quick bass adjustments when needed.

The KTA-200M is now shipping for $249.95 and will be available at Alpine Authorized retailers or online at www.alpine-usa.com through Crutchfield. Installation options can be found on the Alpine-USA website through the store locator.
