Expanding on the proven performance of the highly-acclaimed Evo ‘24’ series platform, the Encore ‘44’ series features an array of exotic, performance technologies, including low-profile Prosound 6-spoke cast alloy frame, with fully CNC machined motor, and extended, Shaped-Manifold-Gap (“SMG”) compact / fully vented motor, resulting in the highest-power, longest excursion, slim-line subwoofer series on the market.

Rated at 1,000 watts RMS, the Encore series delivers remarkable 19 mm of one-way linear Xmax, offering the rare combination of low-resonant frequency, plus modest VAS, allows it to deliver this full-format excursion performance, but works optimally in verycompact sealed enclosures of .75 cf – 1.2 cf, as well as in modest size ported boxes, for high-output SPL applications.
The proprietary SMG (Shaped Manifold Gap) motor includes the proprietary “ICAR” Aluminum Intercooler technology, providing both a superior ‘thermal-transfer’ path, plus
provides additional convection cooling to the huge conduction ‘heatsink,’ by virtue of the Encore unique extended gap-plate. This dual mode cooling technology radically boosts the long-term power handling, and offers reduced power-compression, during high SPL.
In addition, the super-linear suspension features a premium, 25 mm tall, long-excursion surround, large diameter flat-spyder, featuring ‘integrated-lead’ wires, to allow in excess of 2-inches of peak-to-peak excursion, provided by unique, revolutionary motor design. This huge, powerful, proprietary motor design, results in a fully symmetrical magnetic field, delivering significantly reduced distortion, at all output levels.
