August 2, 2016 – Clarion Corporation of America, a leader in consumer and commercial mobile electronics, announced that Petra Industries has been appointed as the exclusive distributor of Clarion’s marine systems and accessories for the traditional 12-volt retailer channel in the United States. Clarion will continue selling directly to boat builders, marine retailers, and e-commerce accounts.
While traditional 12-volt retailers are principally focused on selling and installing car audio and entertainment systems and accessories, many also offer sales and installation of marine audio and entertainment products not just during the boating season but throughout the year.
