FLI Charge and MITO Bring Wireless Charging To Market Through Indiegogo Campaign

July 20, 2016 – New York City – FLI Charge and MITO Corporation have announced that FLI Charge has extended its Indiegogo campaign for another 30 days and has introduced ReVive, a wireless charging system for cars and other transportation vehicles, to the campaign. With the addition of ReVive FLI Charge hopes to build upon the success of FLI Charge's Indiegogo campaign, which exceeded its 30-day funding goal by almost 100 percent.

Unlike other in-car charging systems, the FLI Charge ReVive 36-watt charging system can charge multiple devices simultaneously and is significantly more powerful than existing inductive in-vehicle chargers. ReVive uses the same conductive technology found in the FLIway 40 which is nearly 100 percent efficient, can charge high and low power devices simultaneously and does not emit additional radiation. Consumers will be able to charge smartphones, tablets and all other USB powered devices using a FLIcase or one of the universal FLIcube or FLIcoin adapters, placed anywhere, in any direction on the surface of the ReVive system. The ReVive charging pad has been designed to be easily cut to fit any vehicle including cars, trucks, RVs, taxis, emergency vehicles and boats, and should be installed by a professional installer or dealer.

“ReVive is a way for people to keep their devices charged on the road, whether they are a busy commuter or a device-loving family looking to stay powered as they shuttle the kids from piano lessons to soccer practice or go on summer vacation,” said Cliff Weinstein, president of FLI Charge. “The response to our Indiegogo campaign far exceeded our expectations, so we decided to extend it another 30 days and offer our backers a little something extra to exceed their expectations as well. ReVive will help our early bird adopters to complete their wireless charging ecosystems, so they can truly live life on the FLI.”

“It was apparent to the team at MITO from its inception that FLI Charge will be the industry standard in wireless charging,” said Ben Bontrager, Aftermarket Sales Manager of MITO.  “We are honored to work with such an amazing group of professionals that continue to push the barriers of technology and provide MITO, our customers and the world with revolutionary ways to better our everyday life.”

The ReVive system is now available as part of the FLI Charge ecosystem on Indiegogo. ReVive will be delivered as early as October 2016. Consumers that purchase the ReVive system as part of the Indiegogo campaign will have the option of working with MITO to have the product installed at one of over 9,000  MITO dealers across the country.  Installation prices may vary depending on the make and model of the vehicle.

ReVive is the fifth product from the FLI Charge family available on Indiegogo. Other products include:

  • FLIway 40 charging pad - Provides power conductively to all FLI Charge products. Crafted from premium materials, the pad contains ‘swimlanes’ made of brushed steel which is ideal for conductivity and durability. With the FLIway, consumers can wirelessly charge up to eight smartphones or mobile devices at the same time.
  • FLIcase - Compatible with Apple iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s, and 6s Plus as well as the Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S7 and S7 edge, the FLIcase charges your smartphone when in contact with the surface of the pad, regardless of its orientation and at the same speed as plugging into an outlet.
  • FLIcube - A powerful, magnetized USB port with an embedded auto-detect feature for optimal charging of any USB-powered device when placed on the FLIway 40.
  • FLIcoin - A slim and versatile adapter with an embedded and extendable microUSB or Apple Lightning connector. Simply plug the connector into your device and place onto the FLIway 40 for instant power. The FLIcoin can also adhere to any mobile device to instantly enable wireless charging.
