HDK001X Radio Replacement Kit Designed for Variety of Harley-Davidson Motorcycles with Fairings

PAC, a power brand of AAMP Global, today released the HDK001X Radio Replacement Kit designed for select 1998-2013 Harley-Davidson motorcycles with fairings, making the installation of a DIN sized aftermarket radio simple and trouble-free.  The kit comes complete with all the necessities for a successful install including a pre-programmed module for retaining handle-bar control functions, pre-wired installation harness, mounting hardware, and two choices in dash kit trim bezels.  Harley-Davidson owners can choose between a bezel that fully exposes the front panel of the aftermarket headunit for quick access of the radio and a second bezel that encompasses a hinged tinted UV cover to protect the radio from the harsh outdoor elements.

The pre-programmed handle-bar interface module included in the HDK001X makes installation a breeze and is compatible with today’s most popular brands of aftermarket radios including Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Clarion, Pioneer, Sony, etc.  The module is set to control commonly used functions such as volume, mute, preset, source, track and phone answer but can be further customized if necessary.
