Seattle, WA, January 4th, 2017 – AudioControl (audiocontrol.com), makers of innovative high-performance audio solutions for the residential, commercial and automotive markets has unveiled two 6-channel car audio amplifiers that offer unparalleled innovation and set new levels of performance for aftermarket sound systems. The design goals of the AudioControl LC-6.1200 and the D-6.1200 were to deliver the ultimate solution for factory (OEM) sound system integration and superior overall performance.
The new 6-channel amps from AudioControl are high-current designs housed in a solid one-piece aluminum chassis with internal cooling. Each amplifier delivers 125 watts into 4 ohms/200 watts into 2 ohms and 400 watts bridged into 4 ohms. Each pair of channels is bridgeable, giving installers unprecedented flexibility from a single amplifier. Both AudioControl 6.1200 models are the first automotive amplifiers to offer 8 Summable speaker-level inputs, eliminating the need for clunky external adapters and making OEM integration possible even for the most complex factory systems. Innovations such as input summing have top 12-volt installers worldwide turning to AudioControl as their premium aftermarket car audio solutions provider.
The LC-6.1200 features fully adjustable independent Linkwitz-Riley crossover networks for precise system configuration. The D-6.1200 offers AudioControl’s matrix digital signal processor, providing the most refined levels of tuning flexibility for any factory or aftermarket sound system. Using AudioControl’s smart user interface allows complete control over all features including 30 bands of equalization, signal time-alignment, input delay and phase correction, plus integrated input and output RTA’s.
Other key features of the new 6-channel amplifiers include AudioControl’s proprietary patented AccuBASS® circuit, a unique smart technology that has been designed to seamlessly apply bass compensation only when required in order to restore low frequencies to their proper level within the recording. Both amps also feature MILC™ level-matching technology and the GTO™ signal sensing circuit, helping installers overcome OEM integration hurdles and deliver the finest possible automotive sound systems. An optional ACR-1 assignable remote level control gives users fingertip access to bass level on the fly. All AudioControl automotive amplifiers are designed and assembled in the USA from components sourced globally and come with a 5-year warranty.
“Installers need premium solutions to make OEM integration easier and with absolutely stunning performance and overall sound quality,” commented Chris Bennett, AudioControl’s National Sales Manager of Mobile Electronics. “These 6-channel amplifiers are complete system solutions in a single chassis that deliver the features and performance that today’s car audio consumers demand.”

March 8, 2016 – AudioControl has begun shipping its new LC-4.800 Car Audio Amplifier, the first in a new line up of industry first amplifiers.
AudioControl’s new LC-4.800 amplifier may appear to be a just another amplifier but it has OE Integration features unlike anything else on the market. “Our LC-4.800 was engineered and developed to be an integration solution for today’s factory installed audio systems” stated Chris Bennett, AudioControl’s National Sales Manager. “Our Engineers incorporated 6 speaker level inputs that allow summing directly into the amplifier, one of those inputs even has a level control to ensure you have some level matching prior to summing.”
The LC-4.800 is a 4-channel amplifier with rated power output of 125 watts per channel at 4 ohms. Bridged output is 400 watts making this amplifier capable of 4/3/2 channel operation. The included low level outputs for additional amplifiers feature AudioControl’s patented AccuBASS™ circuit and can be controlled with the optional ACR-1 dash controller. It also has the ability to use the AccuBASS™ circuit on its powered outputs and when assigned the optional ACR-1 remote can then be used as a master volume controller. Best-in-class DSP-enabled amplifiers, vital OEM integration tools and much more make ultimate sound quality attainable for nearly every vehicle
Seattle, Wash., October 23rd, 2019 – AudioControl (audiocontrol.com), makers of innovative high-performance audio solutions for the residential, commercial and automotive markets has announced that they will be showcasing a full lineup of premium aftermarket car audio products at the 2019 SEMA tradeshow in Las Vegas, Booth 11665 North Hall. Highlighted new models include 5-channel amplifiers with 1300 watts of total system power and available DSP. Additionally, AudioControl will introduce several new Load Generating Devices (LGD’s) that enable technicians to add aftermarket audio components to a wide range of OEM entertainment systems from Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Maserati.
"Our newest amplifiers and LDG’s open up significant opportunities for our dealers, and we are very excited to showcase them at the upcoming SEMA show,” stated Chris Bennett, National Sales Director - Mobile at AudioControl. “Additionally, these new products round out the most compelling full line of aftermarket car audio products available from any brand, including premium amplifiers from 1 to 6-channels, our legendary DM-RTA audio analyzer and OEM integration solutions that represent vital opportunities to deliver best sound quality for each customer."
New 5-Channel Amplifiers
Two new 5-channel amplifiers from AudioControl both offer 125 watts X4-channels RMS at 4-Ohm (200watts RMS X4 at 2-Ohm) and 500 watts X1-channel at 2-Ohm along with eight speaker level inputs with selectable summing capability. The D-5.1300 delivers onboard DSP control of all amplified outputs and a pair of low-level outputs as well. The DSP interface is managed by the highly intuitive DM Smart App designed for all of AudioControl’s DSP amplifiers. The LC-5.1300 offers the same outstanding specs and performance without the DSP features.
OEM integration with two new Load Generating Devices (LGD)
Most new vehicles use a class D amplifier platform in their factory sound systems. These amplifiers can become unstable when they are connected to aftermarket audio equipment, causing system noise and overall compatibility issues. In order to maximize the upgrade opportunity for 12-volt retailers, AudioControl engineers created the LGD series of solutions, which seamlessly interfaces these newer OEM systems with aftermarket amplifiers. The AudioControl AC-LGD20 was designed specifically for Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Maserati audio systems without an amplifier. The AC-LGD60 provides interface capability for these same vehicles that feature audio systems with an amplifier.
DM-RTA
The AudioControl DM-RTA is a sophisticated yet compact audio analyzer containing powerful analysis software designed to provide installers with the features of a fully functioning Oscilloscope, Voltage Meter, Real Time Audio Analyzer (RTA), SPL Meter and Polarity Checker. Event placed emphasis on OEM integration techniques, tips on vehicle system tuning and proper use of the brand new DM-RTA audio calibration tool.
Seattle, Wash. -- October 22nd, 2018 – AudioControl (audiocontrol.com)makers of innovative high-performance audio solutions for the residential, commercial and automotive markets recently hosted an educational event at their headquarters dubbed ‘Train in the Rain,’ paying homage to the Pacific Northwest’s infamously grey October weather. AudioControl welcomed over 60 attendees who were treated to listening sessions in two demo cars (a Mercedes Benz GLK and a Kia Optima) as well as training sessions pertaining to OEM integration techniques and the capabilities of the new DM-RTA audio calibration tool.
OEM Upgrades
From line output converters to signal processors and amplifiers, AudioControl has long led the way in providing sophisticated solutions for OEM audio upgrades. Because OEM systems are ever-changing, a roundtable discussion covering latest techniques was a valuable portion of the ‘Train in the Rain’ initiative.
DM-RTA
The AudioControl DM-RTA is a sophisticated yet compact module containing powerful analysis software designed to provide installers with the features of a fully functioning Oscilloscope, Voltage Meter, RTA, SPL Meter and Polarity Checker. Because installers are often on-the-go and in cramped spaces when building a car audio system, the DM-RTA was designed to be light weight, compact and durable. Input/output options are staggering, including balanced XLR inputs, phono and RCA style unbalanced inputs as well as speaker level inputs designed to make OEM audio system interface a snap. Digital outputs include Optical, COAX and USB. The DM-RTA is powered by a 5-hour rechargeable battery so that it can be effortlessly deployed anywhere.
“What an amazing turnout we had here at the factory,” said Chris Bennett, AudioControl’s Director of Mobile Audio. “Everyone that attended was really engaged in each segment of the event and took away a great deal of information pertaining to AudioControl’s solution-based products. We can’t wait to do this again!”

The LGD creates tremendous opportunities for 12-volt retailers by solving a common interface issue in aftermarket installations
Please visit AudioControl AT SEMA 2019, BOOTH 11665 North Hall
Seattle, Wash. -- October 8th, 2019 – AudioControl (audiocontrol.com) makers of innovative high-performance audio solutions for the residential, commercial and automotive markets has announced two new Load Generating Devices (LGD’s) that enable technicians to add aftermarket audio components to a wide range of newer vehicles from Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, Jeep and Maserati, as well as a wide range of post 2005 vehicles with both standard and premium factory sound systems.
Two New LGD Models
Most new vehicles use a class D amplifier platform in their factory sound systems. These factory amplifiers can become unstable when they are connected to aftermarket equipment, causing system noise and overall compatibility issues.
"The new LGD’s open up significant opportunities for our dealer base, enabling them to effortlessly deliver the audio performance their customers demand in these late model vehicles,” said Chris Bennett, National Sales Director - Mobile at AudioControl.
The Ultimate Upgrade Solution with Two New 5-Channel Amplifiers
AudioControl has also introduced two new 5-channel amplifiers, both offering 125 watts into 4-channels RMS at 4-Ohm (200watts RMS X4 at 2-Ohm) and 500 watts into 1-channel at 2-Ohm along with eight speaker level inputs with selectable summing capability. The D-5.1300 delivers onboard DSP control of all amplified outputs and a pair of low-level outputs as well. The DSP interface is managed by the highly intuitive DM Smart App designed for all of AudioControl’s DSP amplifiers and processors. The LC-5.1300 offers the same outstanding specs and performance without the DSP features. These new models are schedule to become available at the end of Q4, 2019.
