Al & Ed's Opens New Store in Long Beach, CA

8-15-2016 -- Al & Ed's Autosound, Southern California's largest footprint mobile electronics retailer, opened a new location in Long Beach, Calif. on Saturday, August 6.  Al & Ed's is a franchise-based model, whereby stores are independently owned and operated, but operate under a turn-key infrastructure and supported by varied advertising and brand marketing.

The Long Beach location, formerly LB Audio Shop, is a "conversion" location, switching over to Al & Ed's to take the store to the next level.

"Al & Ed's Autosound provides our Franchisees with a supportive structure of brands, operational support, marketing and more." says John Haynes.  "It is the easiest way to own and operate a mobile electronics location, allowing our owners to focus on what the do best...sell and install."

The Grand Opening was supported with demo cars from Alpine and Rockford-Fosgate, local morning radio host Romeo and the Goodfellas with a live remote, TV personality Anthony Campos and was catered by Tacos Take-2.  Many show cars from Al & Ed's Autosound locations were there to support the new Franchisee.  It was marketed through email and social media posting, as well as local print support.

"I had what I would call a successful operation in LB Audio Shop" says Efrin Gonzalez, Franchisee. "Once the Al & Ed's switch was turned on, I saw an immediate lift in business. The two days after I was live on the website's store locator, I had six customers who came in specifically from our website. In addition, I have full access to brands I couldn't get before.  It's awesome."

The Long Beach location is Al & Ed's 14th owner-operated store.

"We're always looking for good candidates who can represent our brand well and want to take their store to the next level" says John Haynes.
