March 8, 2016 – AudioControl has begun shipping its new LC-4.800 Car Audio Amplifier, the first in a new line up of industry first amplifiers.
AudioControl’s new LC-4.800 amplifier may appear to be a just another amplifier but it has OE Integration features unlike anything else on the market. “Our LC-4.800 was engineered and developed to be an integration solution for today’s factory installed audio systems” stated Chris Bennett, AudioControl’s National Sales Manager. “Our Engineers incorporated 6 speaker level inputs that allow summing directly into the amplifier, one of those inputs even has a level control to ensure you have some level matching prior to summing.”
The LC-4.800 is a 4-channel amplifier with rated power output of 125 watts per channel at 4 ohms. Bridged output is 400 watts making this amplifier capable of 4/3/2 channel operation. The included low level outputs for additional amplifiers feature AudioControl’s patented AccuBASS™ circuit and can be controlled with the optional ACR-1 dash controller. It also has the ability to use the AccuBASS™ circuit on its powered outputs and when assigned the optional ACR-1 remote can then be used as a master volume controller. The M.I.L.C.™ circuit (Maximized Input Level Control) is also included on this amplifier to assure the purest input signal and avoid clipping or distortion. A solid single piece aluminum heat sink, GTO™ Great-Turn-On, as well as Linkwitz-Riley Crossovers mean this amplifier will be an important tool for AudioControl’s retail partners.
10-31-2016 -- The NEW STX Micro-1 and Micro-4 Compact chassis Class D Amplifiers by Wet Sounds, are its latest innovative products designed for the Power Sports enthusiast. The small yet powerful amplifiers are designed with a completely sealed die cast aluminum chassis for maximum protection against water and dirt intrusion. Both STX models are outfitted with 3.5mm signal input connections to work seamlessly with our Bluetooth controllers (BTVCC) or direct connection to most smart phone’s headphone output.
The STX Micro-1 mono block subwoofer amplifier has output power capability of 420Wx1 into 2 Ohms & 600 Wx1 into 1 Ohm and also includes fully variable Bass Boost and adjustable low pass crossover.
The STX Micro-4 has a rated output power capability of 80wx4 into 4 Ohms & 130 Wx4 into 2 Ohms. Bridged power on the STX Micro 4 is 280Wx2 into 4 Ohms, with fully variable high pass/low pass crossovers. A set of pass-through outputs on the STX Micro-4 allows connection to a second amplifier, and the multichannel switching mode enables all four channels of output with only 2 channels of input, eliminating the need for Y adaptors.
Created for the limited space in many ATV/UTV vehicles, with a chassis size of 9.25 inches long, 4 inches wide, and a height of 1.5 inches, the STX Micro 1 and Micro4 pack "amazing power into a minimum footprint."
The STX Micro Amplifiers will be on display at SEMA Nov. 1-4, along with other innovative products to include, REVO Series Speakers, Bluetooth Rocker Switch Controller, AS Series Active Subs, and ULTRA HD Sound Bars, by Wet Sounds, booth #11639 North Hall.
Retail price on the STX Micro 1 is $299.99 and the STX Micro 4 is $324.99.
