The PMX-8 Can Also Fully Integrate with the FLIR Systems’ Raymarine MFD Via the Rockford Fosgate PMX-CAN

TEMPE, Ariz. – Aug. 22, 2016 – For those fanatics who take hitting sand and surf seriously and need an audio system command center with extreme flexibility, Rockford Fosgate has announced that the new PMX-8BB hideaway digital media receiver (MSRP: $399.99 USD) and companion PMX-8DH full function wired display (MSRP: $299.99 USD) head are now available. The PMX-8BB can also fully integrate with the FLIR Systems’ Raymarine MFD via the Rockford Fosgate PMX-CAN.

The PMX-8 can also fully integrate with the FLIR Systems’ Raymarine MFD via the Rockford Fosgate PMX-CAN. The PMX-8 integrates via CAN bus to the Raymarine MFD where a custom designed user interface is displayed. This menu system, built with “ease of use” in mind, is fully featured with all the controls found on the head unit, including control of true two independently sourced zones. Raymarine has delivered PMX-8 integration in the next release of the LightHouse II operating system and the two companies are committed to delivering support for future Rockford Fosgate audio systems, as well.
