STILLWATER, USA – KICKER® puts together one of its largest presentations of the year at the 18th annual Sand Sports Super Show September 16-18 at the Orange County Convention Center in Costa Mesa, Calif. Working alongside authorized independent dealer Wired for Sound (Temecula, Calif.), KICKER will present a number of off-road vehicles in its area and in several other booths as well.
“September is the kickoff for the sand sports season,” said KICKER Powersports Manager Bryan Grace. “(Sand Sports) started out as a grassroots show and has evolved into the launch of the season. It is the CES of the Powersports world, and we are heavily focused on making a presence.”
Located in Booth 401 of the Family Fun Zone, KICKER/Wired for Sound will feature motorsports legend Jeremy McGrath and his lifted “Cool Bus”, loaded with KICKER subs, amps and speakers. McGrath will be signing autographs and meeting fans.
Also displayed will be the KICKER VSS™ (Vehicle-Specific Solutions) Ram® 1500, specially wired with an A/B switch to allow demo comparisons between the factory audio and the KICKER VSS upgrade featuring a 10-inch enclosed subwoofer and amplifier with digital signal processing.
There will also be a heavily customized Polaris® RZR® 1000, built specifically for the Sand Sports Super Show by Wired for Sound. The four-seat RZR includes a massive KICKER audio system, including a trio of KXM marine-grade amplifiers, a KMC20 source unit/media center, a 15-inch Q-Class L7 subwoofer and QS-Series speakers.
At various times during the weekend, Tire Slayer athlete Jimmy Burnouts will be at the booth, as will ProLite racing champion RJ Anderson and AMA legend Ricky Johnson. Both Anderson and Johnson will be signing autographs during the show.
KICKER will have a strong presence outside of the booth as well. SSV Works® can be found outside of Building 10 on the Northwest Corner, and will now offer KICKER speakers and amplifiers as an option with its custom enclosures. Arctic Cat® will also offer a KICKER/SSV Works system as a factory option in its Wildcat™ models, and its booth will be located between Buildings 10 and 16 of the Convention Center.
Powersports dealer Bert’s Mega Mall is now carrying the KICKER/SSV Works lines, and at the show the retail giant will feature a fully equipped RZR XP® Turbo, dubbed the “White Raven.” They will occupy most of the OC Promenade, between Buildings 14 and 10.
KICKER is also supporting For U2 Chassis®, who is debuting three RZR XP 1000s with fully customized audio systems. The For U2 Motorsports booth will be in Building 12, Booth 201.
Finally, vehicle-wraps specialist Gatorwraps® will bring a pair of KICKER/SSV Works-equipped RZR 1000s, each showcasing a unique wrap and full audio system. Gatorwraps will have its booth next to the Green Entrance of the show.
