DD Audio has released the Z-Wire RCA System. It’s the latest addition to a growing line of DD installation accessories. The Z-Wire accessories are aimed at setting the standard in the power and source signal supply chain cabling.

The system allows the interconnect cables to be built to the exact length needed resulting in an aesthetically clean installation. Once the interconnect cable is cut to the correct length, installers can fit the crimpless and solderless RCA connectors onto the cable.

For the heart of this cable we use a 24 gauge, 42 strand, oxygen free stranded copper center conductor. This results in an ultra low impedance cable that stays very flexible.

The interconnect cable features 5-way noise rejection. The center conductor is double isolated via a gas injected dielectric, and a conductive PVC jacket. By double insulating the the center conductor there is minimal signal loss and greater electrical noise rejection. The cable is triple shielded with a tinned copper faraday sheath, and a bifoil aluminum bonded polyester film which together provide 100% shielding coverage. By utilising two different shielding methods both EMI and RFI noise rejection is increased.

The multiple components of this technologically advanced cable are held together with a soft touch PVC jacket that’s rugged, yet stays very flexible.

DD Audio has officially released the much anticipated Z2b super amp. Years of R&D have went into making the Z2b the most stable, durable, and highest output amplifier in it’s class. This amp is capable of output levels of over 22,000 watts from it’s 37x10.5x3-inch chassis.

With a retail of $4,999 the Z2b comes in at less than $0.25 per watt. From more information on specs and features go to http://ddaudio.com/products/mobile-audio/amplifiers/z2b.

DD Audio, manufacturer of high end consumer audio products announced today the relocation of its corporate headquarters. This will be the third relocation for the company since its initial move to Oklahoma from California in 1991. Each successive move has been prompted by the need for a larger facility to accommodate the company’s continued growth.

Its growth has been fueled by strong partnerships forged with their suppliers and loyal customers, both domestically and internationally. With this move it will more than double its current square footage. The expansion will give it the additional room needed to better accommodate a growing workforce and customer base. With the increased square footage it is looking forward to dedicated areas for on-site dealer training, expansion of their R&D functions, more custom fabrication capabilities, more streamlined shipping and receiving areas and lastly a larger warehouse. The new building will also house all of their domestic manufacturing, distribution, customer service and business support.

From its beginnings in the late 80s as a small manufacturer of mobile audio plate speakers and studio playback equipment, DD Audio has grown into an international manufacturer and distributor of mobile, home and personal audio. Along the way it has garnished a reputation of hand building some of the most reliable high performance car audio subwoofers in the world. In its journey, DD has proven itself to be much more than just a subwoofer manufacturer. It now offers a full selection of mobile audio component speakers, amplifiers, signal processors, and installation accessories. DD’s business model concentrates solely on brick and mortar retailers that can provide a high level of customer attention.

DD Audio looks forward to the expanded capabilities this relocation will allow.

Its new address is 4025 NW36th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73112.

Tuesday, October 29th, 2024 - Oklahoma City, OK - DD AUDIO®, a manufacturer of high-quality mobile audio products is proud to introduce the SS4.3000, a four channel amplifier designed to power the biggest and best mids and highs, and replace the insanely popular SS4b.

At this point in late 2024, it should be abundantly clear to anyone paying attention that DD AUDIO is on a mission to reinvigorate product lines and redefine standards. The legendary equipment on which the DD brand was built is reaching unthinkable heights with each revision and replacement. For subwoofers, you have massive performance upgrades in the USA Made line and “f” revisions of the 600/700/800 Series. For speakers, it’s the fast expansion of the Voice Optimized series with new models to satisfy more power levels and frequency bandwidths. For amplifiers, there’s no better example than the SS Series, which has long been a favorite for their “Super Small” footprints, top shelf components, and value for power.

While the SS Series has grown to have many monoblock and multi-channel amps this year, there was one classic SS amp that hadn’t yet been properly replaced, that is, until now. The SS4b was a discrete circuit, full range, class D, 4 channel amplifier capable of producing as much as 1500 watts from a chassis measuring only 6.875” wide by 11.81” long. What could be better? One that’s smaller, with at least twice the power, and for a better price: enter the SS4.3000.

When the question is “how do you replace a legend?”, the answer has to be “with a titan!” The SS4.3000 was originally designed to produce 750 watts per channel, but final testing shows it can reasonably produce up to 1000 watts per channel at 2 Ohms continuous. It uses the latest high speed class D devices coupled to a robust power supply designed for high signal to noise ratio, high channel separation, and low THD+N. The high efficiency, low noise, twin toroidal circuit design is housed in the streamlined DD style heatsink with more thermal mass and heatsink fin area than industry norms, because DD knows that play time is often in extreme conditions. The preamp section is easily configurable with separate low pass and high pass sections, along with bandpass capability. Packing in all of this full range potential was done to complement DD’s VO Series pro audio speakers to perfectly match listener’s big bass systems with loud and clear mids and highs at every level. Measuring in at just 11.25 x 7.3 x 2.4 this powerful little amp currently retails for just $579.
