METRA INTRODUCES NEW CHRYSLER SPEAKER ADAPTERS WITH EXTRA DEPTH

SEPTEMBER 2016: HOLLY HILL, FL – Metra Electronics introduces Chrysler speaker adapters to fit a variety of applications (part number 82-6601 and part number 82-6602.)

Part 82-6601 is an advancement to the existing 82-6600 adapter and still encompasses the same applications, however this adapter allows for installation of speakers ranging in size from 6 inches to 6.75 inches, which will cover most current aftermarket speakers on the market.

Part 82-6602 is very similar to the existing 82-6600 and encompasses the same applications, however this adapter allows for installation of speakers ranging in size from 6 inches 6.75 inches and 1” thick to provide more depth for the installation. Specific applications which will need extra room for depth include the Dodge Dakota and the Dodge Durango, model years 1997 – 2004.
