DD Audio recently released the CC2 2nd order high power 2-Way passive crossover. The addition of the CC2 expands upon DD’s current selection of application specific passive component crossover networks; such as the CC1 and CC3. With the growing trend of PA style mobile installs the need for PA style installation accessories is growing as well.
The CC2 was designed to be the perfect compliment to the DD-VO Series components. The circuit design is based off high end PA loudspeaker crossovers, and features high heat resistors and air core coils for durability in long term high power applications.
The CC2 is designed to handle up to 250 watts RMS power, and utilizes a crossover cut at 4.5kHz with 12 dB per octave roll-off into a 4 ohm load. The CC2 also features 5 levels of tweeter attenuation 0, -3, -6, -9 and -12 dB. The mounting dimensions are 5.5" x 3.75" x 1.5".
