PITTSBURGH, PA (06.03.2019) – TeamNutz hosted a unique event at the South Side Marina, along the Monongahela River, on Sunday June 2nd in Pittsburgh. The Wet, Loud and Wet Sounds event highlighted the beginning of the boating season in the region. A Stereo Competition with MECA member judges, Stereo Demos, On-Site product discounts, Cook Out and raffles for products were included on the schedule for the afternoon.

TeamNutz owner Ed Nutall and staff members, along with Ed Dalesandro, orchestrated the event. Dalesandro’s End Result firm is the area representative for Wet Sounds.

Nutall offered “We brought the community maybe the first on-the-river stereo competition and much more. Onsite stereo demos were conducted in boats dockside. Wet Sounds is a leader in marine audio and participated with us to make this event happen. Showing Wet Sounds’ broad line of Marine Products really opened eyes. We offered great deals and had a room stocked with well over $20,000 worth of Wet Sounds. We did make sales at the event. The cook out and raffles added to the overall excitement during the event.”

Rusty North, area sales representative for Davis Distribution, was on site and arranged for the Wet Sounds back stock. While at the event North had worked with the TeamNutz crew and helped to close several sales in addition to talking with many people at the event.

Dalesandro offered “Working with a proactive retailer like TeamNutz is terrific. Connecting with consumers is critical and this Wet, Loud and Wet Sounds event definitely connected with area boating enthusiasts. We would like to thank Rusty and friends at Davis Distribution for their help.”

April 4, 2017 (Houston, TX) – Wet Sounds Inc. has announced the promotion of Richard R. Young to Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Richard’s previous role with Wet Sounds was National Sales Manager, and as VP of Sales & Marketing, he is now responsible for sales team leadership and contributing to marketing and business strategy. Richard comes to Wet Sounds Inc. with over 25 years of sales and marketing experience in the Marine and Power Sports audio industry.

10-31-2016 -- The NEW STX Micro-1 and Micro-4 Compact chassis Class D Amplifiers by Wet Sounds, are its latest innovative products designed for the Power Sports enthusiast. The small yet powerful amplifiers are designed with a completely sealed die cast aluminum chassis for maximum protection against water and dirt intrusion. Both STX models are outfitted with 3.5mm signal input connections to work seamlessly with our Bluetooth controllers (BTVCC) or direct connection to most smart phone’s headphone output. 

The STX Micro-1 mono block subwoofer amplifier has output power capability of 420Wx1 into 2 Ohms & 600 Wx1 into 1 Ohm and also includes fully variable Bass Boost and adjustable low pass crossover. 

The STX Micro-4 has a rated output power capability of 80wx4 into 4 Ohms & 130 Wx4 into 2 Ohms.  Bridged power on the STX Micro 4 is 280Wx2 into 4 Ohms, with fully variable high pass/low pass crossovers.   A set of pass-through outputs on the STX Micro-4 allows connection to a second amplifier, and the multichannel switching mode enables all four channels of output with only 2 channels of input, eliminating the need for Y adaptors.

Created for the limited space in many ATV/UTV vehicles, with a chassis size of 9.25 inches long, 4 inches wide, and a height of 1.5 inches, the STX Micro 1 and Micro4 pack "amazing power into a minimum footprint."

Oct. 14, 2016, Houston, TX -- Wet Sounds will be at SEMA 2016 to pair a 1950 Cadillac, “D Lac”, and the hottest new 2017 Tige RZ2 fully loaded with "the loudest, clearest and most powerful high performance marine audio systems at the show," according to the company. 

Wet Sounds teamed with Hot Rods and Restos to create the sleek black and copper 1000 Horsepower Twin Cummins 12 valve D Lac, “Diesel Cadillac” loaded with over 7000 watts of Wet Sounds Power.

Paired with the “D Lac” will be the new 2017 Tige RZ2 built by Wakeboard and Waterski Specialty, color matched with the black and copper caddy, this boat is loaded with the latest high performance products by Wet Sounds, including the new REVO SERIES marine speakers. 

Additionally, the Wet Sounds booth will have on display its hottest products for a live in person demo. 10-25-2017 -- Wet Sounds Inc. will be exhibiting a new line of products at this year’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas Oct. 31-Nov 3. Highlighting this year’s show will be the release of the MC -1 Marine Media Center System. The MC-1 has 4 Zones of Independently controlled audio output with 4V Signal RCA Outputs and built in power. Other features include Bluetooth streaming, Auxiliary input, USB input, along with AM/FM/Weather Band tuner with RDS. The MC-1 also has full Pandora and Spotify control. The WS-MC1 comes with the main display (MC-MD), black box (MC-BB) and 8 ft extension cable to connect the MC-BB and MC-MD, along with wiring harness and mounting hardware.
