This being a cross-country-touring show vehicle, the system needed a major upgrade.

Spring Hill, KS – November 5, 2018 – LIS Audio took on the task of performing a full Audio Dynamics build (LIS Audio Signature Build) in the trunk of Jc Fisher’s 2011 Ford Mustang GT, which Retrobuilt Motors out of Nixa Missouri, transformed into a 1967 Shelby Cobra “Eleanor” as a nod to the Gone In 60 Seconds version of the vehicle.

JC Fisher, a singer in The Texas Tenors and owner of the Shelby Cobra prototype, reached out to LIS Audio to have custom work performed on the trunk to match the vehicles current level of custom fabrication and show quality. Installation and fabrication performed by Cameron “Chimpo” Powell and Justice “JAX” Berry. The first time LIS Audio performed work on the Retrobuilt Shelby Cobra, also referred to as RSC-GT, was in 2017 to prepare it for the Specialist Equipment Market Association show (SEMA) as to be displayed in the Maxxonics car audio company booth. The second time around we decided to use different product and rebuild all of the accent pieces in the trunk. LIS Audio is known in the Kansas City area for putting out high quality custom car audio fabrication work and showing that we care about our clients first and foremost. The products featured are AudioControl LC2i, 2 sets of Audio Dynamics 3200 series component speakers, a 6-channel 1500W Premium
series amplifier, two 12 inch 1100 series subwoofers and Hushmat throughout the vehicle.

This Retrobuilt Shelby Cobra was the first ever to be built in the world and needed to have caring and knowledgeable hands on it for the full custom audio installation process. Retrobuilt Motors takes this Eleanor Mustang all over the country to over 30 national shows a year including the largest Ford Mustang gatherings and now having been to the SEMA show twice. LIS Audio also has hundreds of unedited and raw photos stored in our LIS Audio cloud, of this vehicles audio installation and fabrication build, through nearly every step of the process from beginning to end. Most of which are decently sized and ready for Public Relations access.

“Best audio guys you will find in KC! Custom anything! The boys do Lighting, amps, speakers, hushmat, auto start, back up cams...and anything else you could possibly need or want! They’re fast, friendly and affordable. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else!” -- Jc Fisher’s Five Star Review on Facebook
