Consumer electronics rep firm End Result, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has announced that its 16th annual electronics expo for home A/V and 12-volt retailers was a huge success according to attendees. More than 170 local dealers attended the Survive—Revive—Thrive, event held on April 15 at the Fort Rapids Resort & Convention Center, in Columbus, Ohio.
At the one-day event, local dealers had an up close and personal preview of several new products from exhibiting manufacturers, and all had an opportunity to participate in a variety of educational seminars, manufacturers’ training sessions, and roundtable discussions. The full day of activities concluded with an entertaining Casino Night that gave everyone a chance to kick back.
Ed Dalesandro, principal of End Result and organizer of the event said, “The Show went great! Enthusiasm was high and everything was well received by the dealers attending. My biggest disappointment is that there were dealers in less than an hour away who couldn’t make. They missed some very exciting stuff. I am sure some had a legit reason why they couldn’t come, but we can’t make them better if they don’t try themselves. There was a wealth of knowledge and enthusiastic colleagues eager to share successes.”
Todd Hays, President of Columbus Car Audio & Accessories had this to say, “The End Result Show in Columbus, Ohio was a great event. Ed Dalesandro and his team put together a great line up of seminars including a fantastic session on Selling Your Labor by Bryan Schmidt. The seminar has our company working on implementing change immediately. The day ended with an inspiring keynote speaker, Rick Crossland, that discussed having "A Players" in your organization. Thanks to Ed and his many manufacturers for putting this regional event together!
Mike Woods, President of Sound & Visions said, “We appreciated Ed Dalesandro’s effort to put together a regional show that included both a product showcase & educational seminars for our staff. End Result goes above & beyond the efforts of most rep firms.”
Highlights of the event included the introduction of Jaymar Theater Seating, a family business out of Montreal and the introduction of Electric Mirror, a cutting-edge lighted mirror and Mirror TV company that demonstrated an amazing image on a mirror and the TV was invisible.

Pittsburgh, PA—March 28, 2016—Consumer electronics rep firm End Result, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has confirmed that its 16th electronics expo for home A/V and 12-volt retailers was a resounding success. Held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, in Washington, PA brought in 168 people from 61 dealers from Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
The one-day Survive—Revive—Thrive event offered dealers who didn’t attend CES, a preview of the latest products from 25 exhibitors, educational & business seminars, manufacturers’ training sessions, and an opportunity to have some fun and network with one another.
Ed Dalesandro, Principal of End Result, said, “I would like to sincerely thank everyone involved with this years show. We had record breaking attendance and exhibitors wrote more business at this event than ever before. The displays were more complex and made for an engaging show floor!” Continuing he said, “A lot of my dealers don’t go to CES, so this show gives them the opportunity to experience the hot products and talk with the people behind them. I tried to offer seminars in areas that my dealers need help, like social media. It’s especially important these days where most reps and manufacturers are doing less yet asking for more.”
Comments from exhibitors were enthusiastic: Jim McGall, Director of Sales for Wolf Cinema said, “Great show Ed, no one does it better... from the show planning, to communications and then execution—you hit with all cylinders clicking. I enjoyed the time with our dealers and industry friends, and look forward to next year's event. Count us in!”
Joe Finn, Director of Sales for NEAR said, “We played NEAR speakers for the dealers, put products in their hands, talked to them about connecting large outdoor systems—and probably saw more dealers than we would have if we spent a week in the territory. This show took a lot of effort, but it was a great experience. Thank you Ed for organizing it.”
Keith Dowd, Director of North American Sales for Paradigm & Anthem said, “This show was a hit and well worth everyone’s time and efforts (both the vendors and the dealers who made time to attend in record numbers). It confirms what we all know—that salespeople are important, that even the best products don’t sell themselves and that people want to learn from and buy from, other people. We wish more reps across the country did similar events.”
2/29/2016 -- The End Result Dealer Show, scheduled for Tuesday, March 22, at the DoubleTree Hotel, Pittsburgh, Pa., will feature a lineup of exhibitors from major home audio, mobile audio/ aftermarket automotive, and lighting manufacturers. The event, themed Survive—Revive—Thrive, is exclusive to retailers in Ohio, West Virginia, and Western Pennsylvania, who will have the opportunity to preview new products, attend educational seminars, and participate in roundtable discussions addressing the needs and challenges faced on the retail sales floor.
“The End Result Show is a display of products, an educational platform, and time to talk to peers about the consumer electronics business," Ed Dalesandro, Show organizer and Principal of End Result, said. I put on this show because I believe dealers need to constantly improve as others posture for the consumer’s cash. This event is a free education and a chance to get closer to others who live the business. I invite you to come Revive-Thrive, or help Survive!"
