With the brand re-launch comes a new and improved website: EchoMaster.com.  Featuring a vehicle fit finder, improved product information, and a Dealer Tools section.

“There is an increasing demand for aftermarket safety technology from consumers, many of our retail customers are already in the safety space while some are brand new to it.  Our goal is to make it easy for dealers to either enter the space, or increase their success within this growing category,” explained Marie Still, chief marketing officer of AAMP Global.  “When developing the brand, we took the time to reach out to consumers, understand their buying patterns and needs, and we have developed informative packaging and high impact in-store displays based on what we found.  Our authorized dealer packages include turnkey retail solutions that allow our customers to transform their retail environment with an effective experience that draws the consumers in to the category and then walks them through the path to purchase.”

In addition to consumer focused packaging and displays, EchoMaster dealers have access to content to support their own multi-channel marketing efforts, including pre-canned social media content, graphics, consumer collateral and more.

In addition to the expanded product development support, sales and marketing have ramped up their resources with field training and sales support from Team Phantom, and a newly implemented technical sales team headed by Brad Chapple, director of sales at AAMP, and co-founder of Intraphex.

The Technical Sales team will be filled by Matt Bradley, who comes with 15 years of experience through Rosen and Don Zaney bringing 24 years of experience through AAMP and Intraphex.  These roles are critical to the future development of this business, driven by a category of products and channels requiring a higher technical skill set.

"We always strive to provide an unprecedented level of service for our retail partners,” said Scott Forst senior vice president of sales.  “To do that, we need to have in-field support, providing technical training, and available to assist our customers in any way that they need.  The combined forces of our inside sales team, Team Phantom, and the newly implemented technical sales team, will allow us to deliver personalized training and support, especially in the area of safety, ultimately driving the success of our partners.”

Clearwater, FL - (August 28, 2017) – EchoMaster and PAC, Power Brands of AAMP Global, are introducing a new multi-camera interface, MCI-GM51, for select 2014 - 2017 GM trucks and SUVs with 4.2” and 8” screens. MCI-GM51 is an integrated safety solution from PAC giving the ability to add up to four EchoMaster cameras on a vehicle to enhance awareness of surroundings, enabling a safer and more informed driving experience.

Whether driving, parking, towing, or transporting, adding safety cameras eliminate those blind spots and provide additional driving support. Safety cameras can make parking much easier - with visibility of blind spots, one can maneuver into almost any space with ease.

With MCI-GM51, you can add blind spot, rear, front, trunk, tailgate, or roof mount cameras – your multi-camera viewing solution can be customized to best meet your driving needs. If you are using your vehicle to tow, you can check on your load to make sure it gets to your destination safely.

When adding blind spot cameras, the vehicle’s turn signals automatically trigger the side lane change assistance cameras making it easier to see around your vehicle when changing lanes to aid in collision avoidance.

With backup cameras, putting the vehicle in reverse will automatically display what is behind the vehicle improving your rear vision to help you reverse with confidence. If the vehicle is equipped with a factory backup camera, the multi-camera interface will give you the ability to override the factory backup camera for multi-camera viewing options to give you the viewing solution you want.

On an 8” factory screen, you can access a touch screen GUI that gives you the control to switch between your camera views manually, creating a responsive, customized and seamless viewing of your blind spots.

PAC recommends EchoMaster cameras when equipping a multi-camera viewing solution to assure that you have a trusted safety solution.

To see camera options, check out the EchoMaster Website.

MCI-GM51 is a plug-n-play interface - simplifying and saving time in the installation process. The interface features a low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) digital output displaying quality video from the cameras to the factory screen to give you the information you need for a more informed driving experience.

MCI-GM51 is currently available at a suggested retail price of $599.99, which includes the integration module, a power adapter harness, a camera input and power harness, installation accessories (NVH kit and cable ties), and the instruction manual. Cameras are sold separately from EchoMaster.

Clearwater, FL (September 22, 2017) EchoMaster is expanding its OE accessory program with the introduction of front facing camera systems for select mid-sized and full-sized trucks. These front facing kits add a heavy duty camera with a high quality image, that auto adjusts to different lighting conditions, during parking, or when triggered by the driver during forward motion. This extended view enhances the front vision for drivers, which can often be impeded due to the large front end of pickup trucks.

EchoMaster’s IntelliHaul system was designed to provide multiple viewing angles to GM vehicles while driving, parking and towing.  The additional front facing camera complements the system, providing driver assistance and a full 360° view around their truck. Front, side, back, and trailer making all situations easier and safer.

Not limited to the road, the camera also makes your off-road adventures better, and safer. Besides commuters and road trippers, off-road warriors can harness the benefits of a front camera anywhere they roam. Any potential obstacles in the trail such as rocks and tree stumps that could cause damage or the vehicle to get stuck, can now be avoided entirely with a clear, crisp view on your vehicle’s entertainment screen, well in advance.

Built with safety in mind, the system integrates seamlessly into GM’s OE infotainment screens. The driver gets to be in full control of their view by pressing the “BACK” button on the radio for 3 seconds; this activates the camera so it can be viewed on the vehicle's infotainment screen.

For GM trucks already equipped with an IntelliHaul system, adding EchoMaster’s front facing camera, PCAM-10F-GM, to an existing kit, provides the final view needed for a driver to experience a clear crisp view from 360°, including front, side, rear, and towing views.

EchoMaster’s General Motors IntelliHaul Front Facing systems are available exclusively at GM dealers. FC-GMOEFF-HD (GM# 19366657)works with 2014-2018 Silverado and Sierra light-duty and heavy-duty trucks for a full package price of MSRP $499.99.  The FC-GMOEFF-CC (GM# 19366656) is compatible with 2015-2018 Colorado and Canyon mid-sized trucks for a full package price of MSRP $499.99.

For trucks already equipped with an IntelliHaul system, the Front Facing Camera from EchoMaster, PCAM-10FF-GM (GM#19367534,) works with both the 2014-2018 Silverado and Sierra light-duty and heavy-duty trucks, and the 2015-2018 Colorado and Canyon mid-sized trucks, for a full package price of MSRP $179.99.

The Ford Transit Blind Spot avoidance system includes turn signal triggers which activate lane change assistance cameras, providing a full view of dangerous blind spots.

This encourages safe driving, and avoids the blind spot issues that are so dangerous to larger vehicles such as SUVs, trucks and vans, like the Ford Transit. This potentially saves fleets thousands of dollars by avoiding costly accidents and downtime of a service vehicle. The system also activates upon reversing, maintaining the factory reverse camera function. Optional front camera can be manually activated by the driver at will. The front camera image is automatically triggered on the OE display when the vehicle goes below 6mph to assist when parking.

This system, which includes perfect-fit camera/mirror caps and integrates directly into the existing OEM display, is now available to EchoMaster Authorized Dealers.

With this recently-released camera system, EchoMaster continues to establish themselves as an industry leader in the creation and distribution of high-quality aftermarket safety products. The seamless integration combining EchoMaster Pro safety products, powered by PAC technology serves up a simple, safe driving experience, eliminating common blind spots that lurk around the vehicle.  Turn signals trigger the side lane change assistance cameras, which are especially dangerous for larger vehicles such as SUVs and trucks.  Vehicles that may be hiding in the side blind spots are shown to the driver on the OEM display prior to changing lanes, reducing the risk of a collision.

Each kit includes two Stealth Side View Mirror Cameras designed to discreetly replace existing trim fascia on the vehicle’s exterior mirrors, covered with a three-year warranty. Utilizing six screen modes, smart technology enables camera activation based on driver behavior, using left and right turn signals and placing the truck in reverse.  These systems alternatively allow for manual activation by the driver as well.

EchoMaster’s General Motors Blind Spot Integrated Camera systems are available for full-size, mid-size trucks as well as full-size SUV models from authorized EchoMaster dealers at a suggested retail price of $819.00. Clearwater, FL (December 27, 2017) -- Blind spots are one of the leading causes of preventable auto accidents around the country. It’s been estimated around 840,000 accidents are caused by blind spot-related issues every single year, leading to thousands of injuries and hundreds of deaths.

By providing drivers with a simple, easy-to-use aftermarket blind spot detection system, EchoMasterprovides additional visibility opportunities to larger vehicles.

The latest in EchoMaster’s line of advanced aftermarket safety technologies is the comprehensive integrated blind spot detection and lane change assistance system for Ford F-150 trucks.

Available in two options: FCTP-FD1501 works with a F-150’s OE radio.  FCTP-FD1504 was engineered to work with any aftermarket monitor that has an RCA video input. Built to integrate seamlessly into Ford F-150 trucks, these kits provide extra functionality, without added complication.

The camera solutions effectively assist in safe lane changes and eliminate blind spots, protecting your truck, passengers, and other assets from potential liabilities, without adding bulk to the truck’s exterior.

The primary technology used in both systems is the EchoMaster’s side blind spot and lane change assist system.  The proprietary designed mirror cap inserts with integrated cameras are responsive to driver behavior; the camera view is triggered on using the turn signals, eliminating side blind spots. The FCTP-FD1501 includes everything needed for a plug-and-play installation including camera harnesses, adapters and interface module. The FCTP-FD1504 includes the camera harnesses, adapters and video switcher for universal applications.

1-25-2017, Clearwater, FL -- EchoMaster, global manufacturer of vehicles safety technology for consumer and commercial drivers introduced a brand new safety camera: CAM-MV6. With a total of six different viewing angles, this camera can be mounted on the front or rear of a vehicle for enhanced visibility, improving driver safety.

CAM-MV6, is unique among EchoMaster’s many aftermarket cameras in that it’s designed for numerous viewing angles. This makes the camera capable of producing a comprehensive view of a driver’s surroundings. Capable of mounting on either a lip or a flat surface, it’s designed to function as either a front or a rear camera. What sets this model apart is its unique extended view capabilities. This allows the camera, and by extension, the driver, to see around obstructions that could block potential dangers like oncoming cars or pedestrians.

Seeing More with the CAM-MV6

A convenient button, mounted within easy reach of the driver, allows the driver to choose the extended views. Giving them full control of the blind spots they need to eliminate according to their current situation.  When using as a front camera, the camera offers extended views of the left and right sides, in a split-screen view. Which eliminates the need for drivers to inch slowly forward when trying to turn onto a road with trees, signs, or other obstacles blocking their view of oncoming traffic. The camera can actually see around the object, giving the driver a clear and consistent view of oncoming traffic. When used as a rear camera, drivers are given extended visibility down and to the right and left of their bumper. This capability greatly simplifies challenging situations like backing out into traffic, or attaching a boat or trailer to a hitch.

Along with multiple adjustable views, the CAM-MV6 features a wide 180 degree view. Many rearview cameras on the market offer only a 90 to 120 degree view, meaning they can miss things that fall into their blind spots. This extended viewing angle was designed to offer the driver the ability to see around obstacles. Rather than dangerously inching forward or backward into traffic, the camera “peeks” around the object, keeping the driver and their vehicle positioned safely out of the way. When used as a reverse camera, CAM-MV6 is a useful tool for drivers who tow, the low angle view can be used to help guide a boat or trailer into a hitch.

Key Features:

  • Sensor type: ⅓” CMOS
  • Water/debris-proof rating: IP67
  • Viewing angle: 180 degrees

CAM-MV6 is available from authorized EchoMaster dealers worldwide at a suggested retail price of $199.99.

Clearwater, FL (December 7, 2016) – EchoMaster, global manufacturer of in-vehicle safety technology for consumer and commercial drivers, introduced PCAM-FFT14, third brake light camera for 2014-2016 Ford Transit Vans.

With limited visibility that comes with operating a Ford Transit, especially while driving in reverse, adding a reverse camera can simplify the driving experience. The size of the Ford Transit and limited visibility behind the vehicle increases the risk for vehicle damage, and even worse, potentially fatal backover crashes. PCAM-FFT14 eliminates rear blind spots and significantly reduces the risk of drivers. Its clean aesthetic and factory-matched design, replaces the factory brake light with this discreetly disguised camera.

Key Features:

  • Sensor Type: 1/3" CMOS
  • Viewing Angle: 170°
  • Water/Debris-Proof Rating: IP68

To complete the set, EchoMaster offers two Ford-specific rearview mirrors with 4.3” monitor: PMM-43-FTM-PL with adjustable parking lines, and PMM-43-FTM-ADPL, which features auto-dimming and adjustable parking lines.

For drivers seeing to completely eliminate blind spots in their Ford Transits, pairing the PCAM-FFT14 with rearview mirror replacement PMM-7333-PL and two PCAM-BS1s is the perfect solution.  The two side blind spot cameras mount under the Transit’s side mirrors and are triggered on when the corresponding turn signal is used.  When placing the Transit in reverse, PCAM-FFT14’s rear view will be displayed across a large 7.3” monitor.

PCAM-FFT14 is available from authorized EchoMaster dealers at a suggested retail price of $215.99 and boasts a three-year warranty.

August 16, 2016 – Clearwater, FL: - Vehicles of all shapes, sizes, makes, and models are equipped with side and rearview mirrors, allowing drivers to see other cars, pedestrians, and obstacles behind them. However, the placement of car mirrors guarantees unavoidable “blind spots,” areas of poor visibility that can pose a threat to driver safety.

EchoMaster, Power Brand of AAMP Global and manufacturer of cameras, sensors, monitors, and other automotive safety equipment, has recently introduced a new blind spot camera designed to improve visibility and reduce the risk of collisions and other accidents, especially when changing lanes. The PCAM-BS1 is designed for versatility, and its self-adhesive design, with flexible base can be mounted on multiple areas of a vehicle.  When mounted beneath side mirrors, the PCAM-BS1 improves driver visibility during lane changes.  Pairing the PCAM-BS1 with a PAC BCI video interface, or with EchoMaster’s rearview mirror with monitor PMM-7333-PL, triggers the camera to turn on when a turn signal is being used, and converts the video signal to a constant. Check out this explainer video to learn more!

According to statistics compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there are around 840,000 car accidents in the US each year that were caused by visibility problems in a driver’s blind spots. Of these, 300 result in fatalities. Nonfatal blind spot accidents can cause serious injuries and ongoing chronic health problems, such as neck injuries, broken glass injuries, concussions, spinal cord injuries, and whiplash.

Blind spot monitoring via camera systems can make a significant difference in accident risk. According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s Highway Loss Data Institute, statistics compiled in 2011 for 2007-2010 Mazda models with blind spot cameras indicated that the camera systems reduced claim frequency for collisions, property damage liability, and personal injuries.

The majority of consumer vehicles on the road today are not equipped with blind spot cameras and other sophisticated safety systems, which is why EchoMaster’s PCAM-BS1, and full range of vehicle safety solutions are in such high demand.

Operating at 0.1 LUX, the PCAM-BS1-N uses a ¼” CMOS sensor (complementary metal-oxide semiconductor.) This type of sensor is known for consuming minimal power, making it ideal for use in car camera systems. For extra durability, it’s IP67 rated for water and debris resistance. This rating means it is completely protected against dust intrusion, and can withstand water immersion up to one meter.

The launch of the PCAM-BS1 is the latest development in EchoMaster’s ongoing mission to make sophisticated modern car safety systems available to consumers and commercial drivers, helping to reduce the rate of collisions and injuries caused by blind spots, poor visibility, and other issues that prevent drivers from being fully aware of their surroundings. As camera and sensor technology continues to evolve, EchoMaster continues to release new, innovative driver safety solutions.

Clearwater, FL (February 21, 2017) -- EchoMaster, global manufacturer of driver assistance technology for consumer and commercial drivers, introduced PCAM-CHMSL-SIL, a series of center high-mount stop lamp cameras (CHMSL) for 2014-2017 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks.

Designed to fit perfectly and securely underneath the third brake lamp mounted on top of the truck cab, the camera allows a bird’s-eye-view of any truck bed and fifth wheel.

The CHMSL can also aid when hooking up a gooseneck trailer, as it allows for a great perspective on the location of a fifth wheel. The EchoMaster Pro series of CHMSL cameras are an invaluable tool for any truck operator who needs “at-a-glance” information about the loads and trailers that they are transporting, and easy rear bed viewing of their cargo while in reverse.

Key Features

Built with a ¼” CMOS sensor, and a 75° viewing angle to allow for perfect views of the truck bed and its surroundings. The system can operate at light levels as low as 0.1 LUX, and is rated IP67 for waterproofing and debris resistance, allowing all-weather operation.

EchoMaster is Leading the Way to Safer Roads and Lane Change Assistance with Integrated Safety Solutions for Ford Transit Vans

Clearwater, FL (December 6, 2017) With the onslaught of holiday drivers increasing, confusion at the curb during airport runs, and the weather conditions becoming more treacherous, comes the increased possibility of car accidents. EchoMaster, designer and manufacturer of collision avoidance solutions for aftermarket and OEM, seeks to lessen these accidents with safety camera technology for the Ford Transit Van.

The camera solutions effectively assist in safe lane changes and eliminate blind spots, protecting your vehicle, passengers, and other assets from potential liabilities. EchoMaster’s side blind spot and lane change assist system includes proprietary designed mirror caps with integrated cameras. Responsive to driver behavior, the camera view is triggered on using the turn signals, eliminating side blind spots.

To lessen the risk of an accident, the vehicle-specific side mirror caps with integrated cameras add visibility, without adding bulk to the van’s exterior.

EchoMaster’s FCTP-FT1602 system is customizable and fully integrates into the vehicle’s current electronic system, so driver’s gain safety features without complication. Attuned to driver behavior, the system’s side cameras are activated when turn signals are used; speed sensing front camera is activated when the vehicle is going under a certain speed, and the reverse camera when the vehicle is placed in reverse.

Featured in the kit are 2 proprietary, factory-matched side mirror caps with built-in blind spot elimination cameras, activated by turn signal and integrated with the OE radio. The vehicle-specific integration module is plug-and-play and integrates cameras seamlessly into the van’s OEM radio screen; cameras are activated when turn signals are used, or when the vehicle is shifted into drive and reverse. Kits also include everything needed for a plug-and-play installation including camera harnesses and adapters.

FCTP-FT1602 Kits with perfect fit Non-Tow mirror caps are available today for Ford Transit Vans (with factory 4.2" display radio) vehicles. EchoMaster also offers a kit for Transit Vans equipped with Tow Mirrors (FCTP-FT1601). EchoMaster also offers a line of universal side cameras, which can enhance the safety of any vehicle on the road.
