This device features 1080P HD recording as well as video output using AHD high-definition video format. It has 140o wide-angle lens, APP-controlled recording via smartphone, loop recording for continuous coverage, and the ability to detect objects or human using optional proximity sensor.

OED-01 offers dual viewing capabilities, GPS tracking, and exceptional clarity both day and night. It can stream live video and serve as a digital video recorder (DVR), as well as a front camera for Rydeen's PV8-A/B digital rearview mirrors (sold separately). OED-01 pairs seamlessly with the PV8-A/B Rydeen digital mirrors to maximize the video output functionality. It is an ideal solution for drivers who is looking for advanced safety features and seamless integration into Rydeen's AHD product ecosystem, offering premium quality without the premium price.

OED-01 dash cam connects to APP on your iOS or Android device via Wi-Fi, providing real-time monitoring, live viewing, and file management directly on your screen or smartphone. The APP can add up to ten (10) dash cams, including R10X-SPL, another model sold by Rydeen. “Ten devices are manageable using one APP, makes our system so versatile”, said Phil Maeda, president and CEO of Rydeen. “Downloading to your phone is so easy, can take the recorded HD video with you for share with your friends or even reporting to police along with GPS location is so convenient.
