Voxx's Ray Pace Elected as Vice Chair of CEA's Technology & Standards Council

VOXX Electronics has announced that Ray Pace has been elected as vice chair of the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) Technology & Standards Council (TSC). The TSC guides CEA’s work on technology and standards activities, including CEA’s standards development program which is accredited by the American National Standards Institute.

CEA’s standards program has over 60 active groups and more than 1,300 participants developing industry standards for audio, video, networking, automotive and wireless applications.

“We are excited for Ray to join the Technology & Standards Council as Vice Chair and know he will be a great addition to the program,” said Tom Malone, President of VOXX Electronics Corporation. “Many of our employees have participated with CEA on numerous boards, committees, panels and forums over the years and we are proud to support such a proactive and involved organization that is dedicated to helping promote the entire consumer electronics industry.”

Ray has more than 30 years of experience developing professional and consumer audio technology, and is currently a senior design engineer for Jensen/Advent mobile products at VOXX. He has also been active with CEA on various roles for over 12 years.

“Ray is a tremendous asset to the CEA standards program and will provide excellent leadership for the TSC, as it continues to expand into new, innovative areas such as health and fitness,” said Brian Markwalter, Senior Vice President, Research and Standards, CEA.
