HAUPPAUGE, NEW YORK – OCTOBER 12, 2016 -–VOXX Electronics announced the introduction of two new overhead monitors to the Movies2Go Mobile Video line up. The new overhead monitors available in 13.3-inch and 10.1-inch versions feature expanded connectivity options for all your smart devices – unlimited content delivery options for the backseat just got even better.

The MTG13UHD and MTG10UHD Overhead Monitor Systems feature a 13.3” and 10.1” highdefinition digital LED backlit monitor with enhanced design cosmetics. These new systems offer expanded connectivity options for all smart devices with hidden connectivity for optional wired and wireless accessories that allow for content streaming (optional connectivity accessory HDH12 or WM1 required). Additionally, these systems feature built-in 100 channel FM transmitter with the ability to hardwire (hidden FM out for connection of optional FM relay box FMDIRB), dual channel IR headphones, user accessible USB reader (with charging support) and user accessible HD inputs for smart devices (smartphones, tablets, SmartTV sticks), selectable M1/M2 operation, A/V inputs and outputs and DVD player.

12’ HDMI/MHL/USB Extension Harness (HDH12) provides a wired content streaming option allowing content to pass from a smart device to our enable systems. In addition to standard “user accessible” HDMI/MHL and USB inputs, these new systems allow for “hidden” smart device connectivity via the HDH12. The extension harness with a finished connector end can replace an existing 12v socket in a vehicle or can be cut-in to add HDMI/MHL connectivity and charging support. SmartStream Module (WM1) provides users the ability to stream content wirelessly from a smartphone or tablet to compatible VOXX Mobile Video systems. This module was designed to receive over the air updates through the users Smart device as new operating systems are released from Apple and Android to ensure performance free operation. Note: Not all mobile apps allow wireless content streaming due to copyright restrictions.

The MTG13UHD and MTG10UHD are available in interchangeable Black, Pewter and Shale trim rings and universal snap on bezels.
