Jensen Comes to Merus Audio with Significant Technology and Industry Experience, Most Recently as a Sales Director with Knowles Electronics

Herlev, Denmark, July 17, 2017 – Merus Audio (www.merus-audio.com), a global supplier of single-chip audio amplifier IC solutions, announced that it has appointed Jens J. Tybo Jensen as V.P. Sales & Marketing, effective immediately.

Jensen was most recently a sales director with Knowles Electronics, a global supplier of high-performance micro-acoustic components and intelligent audio processing solutions such as MEMS microphones and balanced armature receivers. Prior to his eight-year tenure with Knowles, Jensen has served as V.P. Sales & Marketing for a variety of Danish technology start-ups including Nangate A/S and Exbit Technology A/S (now Microsemi Corporation). Jensen holds a B.Sc.EE degree from DTU Danish Technical University and an Executive MBA from Copenhagen Business School.

Thomas is Charged with Developing New Key Opportunities and Driving Sales & Revenue Objectives Throughout the Continent

Herlev, Denmark, July 31, 2017 – Merus Audio (www.merus-audio.com), a global supplier of single-chip audio amplifier IC solutions, announced that it has appointed Mark Thomas Director of Sales – North America, effective immediately. Thomas is located in the Merus Regional office in Massachusetts.

“Thomas is charged with developing new key opportunities and driving sales and revenue objectives throughout North America,” explained Jens J. Tybo Jensen, Merus Audio V.P. Sales & Marketing. “We are confident Mark’s technical expertise and sales management experience will help significantly increase opportunities across the continent.”

Prior to joining Merus Audio, Thomas has had more than 15 years experience in the semiconductor and electronics industries. Most recently he held the position of Regional Manager at Micross Components and Vice President of Sales at Electronic Components Inc.  He has extensive experience in the development and management of internal sales teams and distribution/rep networks. Thomas started his career as a component engineer at Raytheon Company and studied Electrical Engineering at Northeastern University.
