STILLWATER, USA – KICKER® and the XRV (Xtreme Recreational Vehicle) head to south Texas for the first big show of the year at the 2024 Lone Star Throwdown, showing off several SEMA Show-quality custom trucks in a viewing area filled with fun.

Mississippi-based KICKER dealer Pro Audio Center (Richland) will bring a gleaming black F-250®, featuring a massive 20,000-watt KICKER system built entirely in-house loaded with ST-Series midranges and bullet tweeters, powerful amplifiers, and imposing SoloX® subwoofers.

Featured in KICKER’s 2023 SEMA Show booth and recent Gauge Magazine cover vehicle, Randy Frederick’s 1991 Toyota® pickup is packed with classic KICKER gear, and Outlaw Grafiks is also bringing a dropped Silverado® to the booth, emblazoned with the KICKER logo and sporting a wall of eight Solo-Baric® L7S subs.

KICKER Special Projects Manager Tim Smith will haul his custom ’94 Chevy® C1500 filled with a KICKER KMC4 Media Center, a KEY® Smart Amplifier, and a KS-Series front stage. A CX-Series 1200-watt amplifier and a pair of super-thin, eight-inch Solo-Baric L7T subs deliver the bass from an MTI Acoustics™ custom enclosure.

The sprawling event fills more than 30 acres of Conroe’s Lone Star Convention and Expo Center. Two thousand show cars have pre-registered for the show, with every spot taken more than a month in advance. LST officials anticipate attendance exceeding 15,000 people, with Top-100 and best-of-show awards being presented along with several cash prizes.

STILLWATER, USA – KICKER® is excited to attend the Lone Star Throwdown (LST) for the fifth straight year, with several show cars for attendees to see and hear. The annual show will take place Feb. 22-24 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at the Lone Star Expo Center in Conroe, Texas.

The KICKER booth will proudly display the HE Forged™ 1957 Chevy® Sedan Delivery, equipped with KICKER’s elite Q-Class line of audio products including patented, square L7® subwoofers. Additionally, SEMA vehicle-designer Andrew Lowe will bring “Battlecat” – a Dodge® Challenger sporting KICKER KX-Series amplifiers and a KICKER CompRT® thin-mount sub. John Jackson of NotStock Photography will also be showing his Mercedes-Benz® Sprinter in the booth.  Affectionately dubbed “HomeWrecker,” the Sprinter is equipped with a series of all-weather, KICKER Marine four-inch enclosures mounted on the roof. 

Finally, KICKER’s road team will haul fabricator Tim Smith’s custom 1994 Chevy C1500 to the show. A member of KICKER’s Special Projects team, Smith is using an SSV Works™ MRB3 Media Controller, a pair of KICKER IQ-Series 5-channel amplifiers, Q-Class speakers and CompRT slim subwoofers.

With 2,000 show cars already pre-registered, LST officials anticipate attendance exceeding 15,000 people this year. Top 100 and Best-of-Show awards will be presented at the end, along with cash prizes.

The show, which bills itself as the “World’s Best Truck Show,” will take place Feb. 21-23 at the Lone Star Expo Center in Conroe, Texas. In the pit area under the XRV’s awning, KICKER will have several show cars for people to see and hear. STILLWATER, USA – KICKER® will sponsor the Lone Star Throwdown (LST) for the sixth straight year, bringing its 83-foot rolling showroom – the XRV (Xtreme Recreational Vehicle). The XRV displays the complete line of KICKER audio gear and houses the “Boom Room” with an entire wall full of 15-inch, Solo-Baric® L7S subwoofers and 40,000 watts. The show will take place Feb. 24-26 at the Lone Star Expo Center in Conroe, Texas.

KICKER will run two consumer contests simultaneously during the show as part of the brand’s marketing plan. One includes a 1,200-watt bass package giveaway consisting of a pair of CompRT® 10-inch subwoofers with a 1,200-watt mono amplifier. KICKER will also partner with MTI Acoustics to give away a pair of MTI’s new universal sub enclosures with new KICKER Competition Gold™ subwoofers pre-installed.

Three demo vehicles will accompany the XRV – all loaded with KICKER gear. KICKER’s Special Projects manager Tim Smith will bring his custom 1994 Chevy® C1500 to the show, which includes a KICKER KEY200.4 Smart Amplifier, KS midranges and the KSMT “Snowman” pods for the front stage. A pair of Solo-Baric L7T thin square subwoofers deliver the bass. In addition to the C1500, a 2002 Lightning and 1956 Chevy wagon will also park under the XRV’s awning.

STILLWATER, USA – KICKER® travels to the Houston, Texas area for the Lone Star Throwdown (LST), for the brand’s third straight year to display at the heavily attended car show. The show will take place February 24-26 at the Lone Star Expo Center in Conroe, Texas.

KICKER will attend the show in force with its 80-foot XRV (Xtreme Recreational Vehicle) tractor-trailer, hauling show materials and demo vehicles to exhibit.  This rolling showroom houses the full line of KICKER car-audio gear for viewing and features thunderous, square-subwoofer bass with the 20,000-watt Boom Room that show-goers can walk into and experience.

A customized Harley-Davidson® Road Glide® with a full KICKER audio system will be on display at the KICKER booth, as will a custom Can-Am® Maverick® X3, featuring a KICKER/SSV Works® Powersports audio system. KICKER will also host NotStock Photography’s “High Plains Drifter” – a KICKER-equipped GMC® Sierra®, along with Andrew Lowe’s outstanding Dodge® Charger.
