Position:

Long Island based

Working knowledge of 12 Volt needed with 2 years minimum experience in installing automotive electronics.

12-volt installs of security/rear seat entertainment and car audio required.

Strong communication skills required for interacting with retailer/expeditor installers.

Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office software neededas well as ability to download firmware.

Travel required.

InstallerNet is looking to staff experienced 12V installation managers in key Metro Markets around the USA. Market Installation Managers will

-          Become a Full Time Contractor of InstallerNet

-          Work from Home / Home Office / Installation Van

-          Support InstallerNet’s East Coast Call Center and national installers, on technical issues

-          Become a key member of the Installation Technical Support Team

-          Become a key researcher/contributor to InstallerNet’s Vehicle Content Library

-          Support InstallerNet Member installers nationally by phone, create and deliver Program & Service training material live or via webinar

-          Support and/or perform key VIP installations in the Market

-          Provide onsite commercial project management when necessary

Applicants must have recent 12 volt installation experience such as Car Stereo, Remote Start and GPS Telematics AND strong computer skills and experience.   This position requires knowledge of vehicles and electronics but also requires accuracy and clarity in written communication skills along with phone-support capabilities. At many times this will involve more office, phone and computer use than hands-on tool use (depends on Programs & Market).

Daily tasks will consist of, but not limited to:

  • Updating vehicle information directory in our Online Library
  • Answer technical calls from field installation technicians
  • Contribute recommendations to improve customer and installer experience
  • Support in-house call center on installation-specific matters
  • Occasional installation and/or training work

This is a full-time position located primarily in your own Home Office / Van with quarterly trips to InstallerNet Headquarters in North Andover, MA. InstallerNet is an equal opportunity employer.
