The Industry's #1 Resource

The Metairie, LA-Based Company Has Been a Market Leader in Innovative LED Lighting Solutions for the Automotive Aftermarket Since 1999

METAIRE, LA, Oct. 29, 2019 – Oracle Lighting (www.oraclelights.com) is proud to announce that founder Justin Hartenstein has been named a finalist for the prestigious SEMA Gen-III Innovator of the Year. The winner will be named during the SEMA Industry Awards Banquet at the 2019 SEMA Show, held in Las Vegas, Nev. from Nov. 5-8.

“It is truly an honor just to be nominated for an award that recognizes hard work and innovation in such a large and dynamic industry,” said Hartenstein, who founded Oracle Lighting in his garage in 1999.

One of just two individual awards that the SEMA organization presents each year, the Gen-III innovator is an honor given to a young innovator who exhibits the same pioneering spirit as the original industry founders. According to SEMA, the Gen-III Innovator of the Year recognizes individuals whose work is changing the way the automotive aftermarket does business. He or she may have been the first to act on a new trend, invented an original product or devised and implemented ideas that better suit the current automotive marketplace.

Besides being a trend-setter, enthusiast, and innovator, Hartenstein is also an advocate for the automotive lighting aftermarket, making him an excellent candidate for this award. He sees the challenges that are taking a toll on the aftermarket lighting industry such as overseas counterfeiting. After months of working with foreign courts, attorneys, private investigators, and other authorities in China, Hartenstein filed legal action against an underground counterfeit factory ring in China that has repeatedly violated not only the Intellectual Property of ORACLE Lighting but of a half dozen other SEMA manufacturers. He hopes to use this experience to create a roadmap for other SEMA manufacturers to follow in order to receive relief from the damage caused by illicit counterfeiting in the industry.

Shipping in Jan. 2023, the Kit Includes Four Individual ColorSHIFT LED Light Engines, Each Illuminating 150 Strands of Fiber Optic Cable to Create a Beautiful Star-Scape in Otherwise Dark Wheel Wells

METAIRIE, LA, Dec. 20, 2022 – After an incredibly successful launch at the recent 2022 SEMA Show, Oracle Lighting (www.oraclelights.com), the market leader in creating high quality lighting products and innovative LED solutions for the automotive aftermarket, is proud to announce that its new Fiber Optic ColorShift® Wheel Liner Kit is now available for pre-order. Available at oraclelights.com with an MSRP of $339.95, the new kit (p/n 5898-333) is scheduled to ship January 2023.

“It did not come as a big surprise that our new Fiber Optic ColorShift® Wheel Liner Kit probably gained the most attention during the recent SEMA Show in Las Vegas since it has such a unique eye-catching appearance,” said Justin Hartenstein, Oracle Lighting director of development. “This is a totally universal product…if your truck or SUV has wheel liners, you can install this kit. This kit allows you to convert your dull and boring wheel liners into the focal point of your vehicle, with the unique color-changing constellation offering a truly custom one-of-a-kind appearance.”

Oracle Lighting’s Fiber Optic ColorShift® Wheel Liner Kit includes four individual ColorSHIFT LED light engines, each illuminating 150 strands of fiber optic cable to create a beautiful star-scape in otherwise dark wheel wells.

“This kit provides a really unique POP of color and turns plenty of heads,” Hartenstein continued. “It is a tedious installation since the fibers are individually punched into the plastic wheel liner. It’s more of an arts-and-crafts project to be honest, which is a great opportunity to enlist the help of your kids or nieces and nephews to help with the seemingly endless number of stars that need to be installed. They will love working on a project and there is no wrong way to arrange the constellations so it would be hard to mess up!”

Installation is pretty straight forward, and it really provides a unique, colorful look that will turn plenty of heads. The cables are individually inserted through drilled holes in whatever pattern you choose in the plastic wheel liners, and then glued from the back to secure in place. The light engines are then connected to 12V power, and the included remote control or the free app via Bluetooth on your smartphone allows you to select the LED effects, brightness, and colors.

With over 40 Watts of total LED light and 600 light fibers this kit makes a big impact which is sure to get your truck noticed at the next night show. The colors, brightness, and effects of the LED stars are controlled through the included remote control. The lights can also be controlled wirelessly through Bluetooth with the free app and any smartphone device. It is not recommended to use this product on-road without first checking with your local rules and regulations.

Additional features and specifications include:

  • 4 x 10W RGBW LED fiver engines
  • 600 x 0.75mm fiber optic cables
  • 4 x 12V power cables
  • Housing material: aluminum alloy
  • LED rating: 50,000 hours
  • Warranty: 2 years

Easy Integration into Factory-Style Side Mirrors; Provides a 45 Degree Beam Angle For Functional Off-Road Driver Visibility

METAIRIE, LA, Dec. 5, 2022 – Oracle Lighting (www.oraclelights.com), the market leader in creating high quality lighting products and innovative LED solutions for the automotive aftermarket, is proud to announce the new LED Off-Road Side Mirrors for Jeep Wrangler JL / Gladiator JT (p/n 5855-001) are now shipping with an MSRP of $399.95.

“This patent-pending new product features a set of high-powered LED light bars integrated into the factory-style side mirrors on the Wrangler JL and Gladiator,” said Justin Hartenstein, Oracle Lighting director of development. “Ideal for off-road activities, such as trail riding where the driver needs to clearly see obstructions and other possible hazards not directly in front of them, this integration allows for easy installation and a clean, almost OEM look while providing a functional 45 degree peripheral beam angle for optimized illumination for the driver. The LEDs are custom design that features a total of 24 LEDs producing approximately 2250 Lm.”

Multiple aluminum heat sinks are used to effectively wick heat away from the LEDs and are designed to use the airflow through the mirror housing to increase cooling, similar to a radiator. The housing material is made from rugged Polycarbonate, which is two times stronger than the factor ABS housing and bolts onto the vehicle using the factory mounts for easy installation. A set of anodized rock guards protect the LED acrylic lenses, which also houses the advanced LED optics. The efficient optics focus the light for optimal visibility from the driver’s seat position.

Additional product features and specifications include:

  • 24x 1W Cree LEDs
  • 6000K color temperature
  • 2 Amp power draw
  • Patent Pending design
  • 2-year warranty

“Our goal in developing this product was to create a LED light bar that could seamlessly integrate into the vehicle design and appear to be factory,” Hartenstein concluded. “Light bars and ditch lights tacked to bumpers and roof racks have poor integration and appear to be an afterthought. These mirrors are more integrated than traditional ditch lights, provide a functional purpose, and look good at the same time…the best of all worlds.”

The New Oculus™ Bi-LED Projector Headlights Feature a Unique Modular Design, Easy Plug-and-Play Installation, and Advanced LED Projection with 5,200 Lumens of High-Quality Illumination for Enhanced Driver Visibility in All Weather Conditions

METAIRIE, LA, April 24, 2023 – Oracle Lighting (www.oraclelights.com), the market leader in creating high quality lighting products and innovative LED solutions for the automotive aftermarket, is proud to announce its new patented Oculus™ Bi-LED Projector Headlights for 2021+ Ford Bronco (p/n 5886-001/005/0023) is now shipping with an MSRP of $789.95.

“Our new Oculus™ Bi-LED Projector Headlights features a unique modular design, easy plug-and-play installation, and advanced LED projection with 5,200 Lumens of high-quality illumination for enhanced driver visibility in all weather conditions,” explained Justin Hartenstein, Oracle Lighting director of development. “The Oculus headlight is compatible with both the standard and signature Bronco lighting models.”

These headlights include precision LED lighting projector for optimum light distribution and beam angle and installs using original mounting hardware and headlight wiring without requiring additional relays or harnesses. Halo is available in White or Amber LED and features more than 200 bright LEDs for a vivid lighting impact.

“These all-new headlamps provide enhanced driver visibility with increased and focused LED light output,” Hartenstein continued. “It features a high-precision sharp cut-off line which reduces glare and prevents blinding oncoming traffic even when installed on lifted Broncos. The package also includes a tool for easy beam angle adjustability.”

The new modular design allows separate components (turn signal, marker lights, and mounting tabs) to be installed independently and provides a smaller packaging size for lower shipping costs for the end user and prevents possible shipping damage. The modular design also allows for these individual components to be replaced or upgraded down the road when future options are available.

“It is undeniably important to implement proper thermal management tools for high-performance LEDs to operate with reliability in various environments,” Hartenstein explained. “Oculus utilizes both active and passive cooling methods to sustain low LED temperatures. Remote mounted heat sinks and an internal cooling fan work in conjunction to insure proper temperature control and longevity of the LEDs.”

Light focus is very important for not only driver safety but others on the road that can potentially have their vision obstructed by glare. This is especially significant on lifted vehicles where the light source is raised and, in a position, to interfere with the field of vision of other drivers. These new Oculus headlights feature a very sharp cut-off line and focus light with precision specifically to avoid such issues.

Additional product specifications include:

  • Headlight Wattage: 36W each
  • Total Lumens: 5200LM
  • Headlight Color Temp: 5500K (Pure White)
  • Halo Color: Optional White or Amber LED or Amber/White Switchback
  • Certification: DOT SAE 5839-504 HL VOR 19
  • Patented Design: USPTO Patent D 877,404
  • Designed and developed in the USA
