February 4, 2022 -- Los Angeles, Calif. -- Cerwin-Vega Mobile (exhibit booth #901) and Diamond Audio (exhibit booth #906) will be attending the upcoming Mobile Electronics Association (MEA) KnowledgeFest industry event in Las Vegas, NV from February 18th-20th at the South Point Hotel & Casino.

The Cerwin-Vega Mobile brand will be introducing its new 2022 line of RPM (Recreation. Powersport. Marine) series products such the new RPM Stroker tower speaker canisters, complete SXS audio system packages, and action cameras for powersport, motorcycle, and helmet applications. 3/24/2016 -- Diamond Audio, an industry leader in high-end mobile audio products, recently exhibited at the 30th annual Spring Break Nationals at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.

In addition, Larry Frederick of New Product Development, provided dealer training and covered educational topics such as tuning vehicles and system troubleshooting. He demonstrated Diamond Audio’s new MICROV2 series amplifiers designed with an integrated Bluetooth port that accepts Diamond Audio’s new and compatible DATBTR10 and DATBRT12 Bluetooth receivers that can operate with any Bluetooth enabled device. Utilizing a custom “boom box” equipped with Diamond Elite series speakers and subwoofers, he demonstrated how speaker distance can cause and effect multiple phase/time and frequency aberrations and how many variables in the car audio environment can have an impact on sound quality. 

“I think that real world demonstrations are very beneficial for our dealers and by doing this, I hope that it can help them deliver the most optimal performance out of Diamond Audio products and achieve the ultimate listening environment,” Frederick said. Diamond Audio showcased a highly customized demo vehicle with a sound system full of Diamond Elite series products in its booth that was built by local dealer, MARS Audio in Orlando, FL. It took home multiple trophies and won a “Best of Show” award at Spring Break Nationals.

Diamond Audio’s newest addition to its product line, Motorsport Series, was being demonstrated throughout the show in a fully active display board that is now being offered to authorized Diamond Audio dealers. The Motorsport series speakers consist of 3 models, the HXM525 (5.25”), HXM65 (6.5”), and HXM (8”). Diamond Audio is now shipping its highly anticipated Motorsport series tower speaker pods. The Motorsport series are designed to provide high far-field audio performance while withstanding the harshest environmental conditions. 

The Motorsport series tower speaker pods are constructed from high-tech materials originally designed for the aerospace industry. The UV-treated pod enclosures consist of a mixture of high density and non-porous ceramic and fiberglass resin that is combined with crushed natural mineral composites forming a solid surface that is similar to Corian®. To make it even more unique, Diamond Audio creatively shaped the speaker pods and designed it with diamond facets giving it a signature look like none other in the industry. 

The Motorsport series tower speaker pods are available in 6.5” and 8” sizes. Both HXM65POD (6.5” model) and HXM8POD (8” model) are available in the following finishes; gloss white, carbon fiber white, gun metal gray, and matte black. Both models feature integrated RGB LED lighting, built-in passive radiator for dynamic bass, and a 12dB per octave crossover. A 360 degree rotational mounting bracket and waterproof wire management consisting of 12 feet of ultra-flexible high strand PVC jacketed wire is also included.

Both Motorsport tower speaker models utilize a high-output 25mm titanium dome tweeter with an ultra-compact neodymium motor structure, waterproof Kevlar® cone, UV-treated polycarbonate cloth surround, and a high temperature UV-treated basket. The Motorsport speaker pods are IP65 compliant from infiltration of dust and water.

8-4-2016 -- Diamond Audio, an industry leader in high-end mobile audio products “rocked the midway” at the 2016 Custom Sounds Texas Heatwave event held recently at the Travis County Expo Center in Austin, TX.

Diamond Audio exhibited at this year’s Texas Heatwave with commanding presence as it showcased its complete line of new Motorsport Series products designed and manufactured for marine, all-terrain, and recreational applications. “It is important for Diamond Audio to reach out to consumers and Texas Heatwave provides us that opportunity to demonstrate how LOUD and CLEAR our latest Motorsport Series products can perform and it made a lot of positive impressions to those visitors that came through our booth all weekend long”, states Jeff Peters, Brand Manager for Diamond Audio.

In addition to showcasing the Motorsport Series product line, Diamond Audio also featured its entire line of HEX PRO, HEX, Micro, Diamond Elite, and Diamond Series mobile audio products mounted on active display boards.

The show-goers were able to listen and hear the numerous speakers and subwoofers on display and experience first-hand the power and attention to detail of Diamond Audio’s amplifier lines. The Texas Heatwave midway was rocked courtesy of the jaw-dropping performance of Diamond Audio’s “SPLoudspeaker ice-chest” that took high far-field performance to another level! Designed and built by Diamond Audio’s own Wayne Messina Jr., this custom-built cooler features eight HXM8 Motorsport series coaxial speakers driven by a MICRO4V2 model amplifier delivering a total of 640W RMS power! An internal battery supplied the power to the amplifier while music was streamed through Diamond Audio’s Bluetooth receiver (DABTR10) and Diamond Audio’s RGB LED remote light controller (DARGB8A) adjusted all the HXM8 speaker’s integrated RGB LED lights.

Peters will manage and oversee all aspects of sales, marketing, and new product development for the brand for the Domestic U.S market.
Peters brings extensive years of experience throughout his career in the mobile electronics industry. When asked about the future of the Diamond Audio brand, Peters states, “Diamond Audio has over 20 years of history producing premium speakers, woofers and electronics for the automotive, marine, and power-sports categories and we intend to build upon this legacy.
