7-18-2017 -- Rydeen Mobile Electronics has announced the arrival of new in-store POP for retail dealers purchasing the new BSS1 Blind Spot Safety System. Available now is a counter top display easel as well as a floor standing BSS1 banner for all dealers and distributors who purchase the BSS1 system.
Soon to arrive is a retail dealer window display to assist in attracting potential new customers to the store. All of these items are provided at free of charge to support the sales of the BSS1 at the store level.

The BSS1 was introduced at 2017 CES. “It works much the same as the OEM systems using the microwave radar technology for sensing traffic approaching in adjacent lanes specifically in the driver’s blind spot” says Northup, “it sees what the driver may not see in the side view mirrors.” It comes equipped with LEDs for visual alert and a beeper for audible alert. The GPS antenna is included for increased accuracy of driver alerts by sensing speed.

Torrance, Calif. - August 29, 2017: Rydeen Mobile Electronics announced the promotion of Ruben Torres and Jordan Shahriary as regional sales managers effective immediately.
Ruben Torres has been with Rydeen for five years and most recently working in the position of inside sales coordinator. Torres has been promoted to the position of Eastern Regional Sales Manager.
Jordan Shahriary has been with Rydeen for nearly two years in the capacity as the National Product Trainer. In addition to the product training position, Shahriary is assigned as the Western Regional Sales Manager.
Both Torres and Shahriary report directly to Mike Northup, Director of Sales and Marketing for Rydeen Mobile Electronics. “I look forward to working with both Ruben and Jordan in managing our sales representatives and sales with all of our customers throughout North America including Canada” states Northup.
Jordan Shahriary stated in response to the new position, “I am looking forward to the challenge. If I do not take good care of my customers, then my competitors will”. On a similar note Ruben Torres stated, “I am genuinely excited about working with our sales reps and customers in this new role. My goal is to make the eastern region stronger with Rydeen.”

5-9-2017 -- Rydeen Mobile Electronics is now releasing its new entry-level lineup of mirrors and cameras brand, RoadGear Mobile. The new RoadGear brand which comes in stylish and colorful gift boxes, is now shipping from the Rydeen Mobile facility in Torrance, CA.
“Rydeen has the reputation as a high quality brand of safety products, however, our customers have been asking for product with entry level price points. Torrance, Calif. – October 18, 2017: Rydeen Mobile Electronics announced the shipping of the new PSR4000D Digital Parking Sensor System. This system works on the rear and/or front bumper applications. It comes standard with four (4) standard digital sensor heads that can be used for the rear and/or the front applications.
Also available are two different additional sensor head kits. The “PSK4” comes with four standard mount sensors. The “PSK4 Flush” comes with four flush style sensors heads, to install most like OEM luxury and exotic vehicles. The digital sensors are paintable and come with a painting mask kit in the box.
“The PSR4000D gives the installer total flexibility in meeting the many potential applications. Our dealers and distributors should have no dilemma determining what kit to employ; this new system is truly a one kit fits all” states Jordan Shahriary, Rydeen’s Product Trainer.
Each sensor head comes with its own digital circuit board that can plug into any location specific position on the main unit. There are eight (8) ports that are separated front and rear as well inside and outside locations on the bumper. More importantly there are special programming options for provided external LED display, one being able to remove the distance number to mimic OEM found solutions.
The PSR4000D is shipping now and carries a very affordable MSRP of $99 not including installation. The PSK4 and PSK4 Flush kits have an MSRP of $79 each.

TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA, December 23, 2019 – Rydeen Mobile Electronics, a cutting-edge electronics designer and manufacturer dedicated exclusively to advanced vehicle driver safety, announces a new and unique 360-degree video rearview replacement mirror with built-in touch capable 10-inch HD monitor. Unlike other mirrors that can capture and record DVR video, the Rydeen Tombo360 DVR Mirror also houses a 360-degree 4K High Definition digital video camera. Tombo, which means “dragonfly” in Japanese, symbolizes the capability of All-Seeing-Vision. It provides a full view of both the inside and outside of the vehicle from the vantage point of the rearview mirror.
The stunning 10-inch frameless mirror embeds a full-length touchscreen that controls and displays streaming 4K video. The single 360-degree camera streams and records video from all sides of the car. Users can then choose to display the front of the car, sides of the car and the rear seat, for monitoring passengers.
The mirror can also work with a backup camera with HD video quality.
Users can swipe left and right on the mirror to view the particular perspective they wish to see. They can also set the mirror to show split screen views of multiple angles (including left and right-side lanes or front view plus backseat). See quick video clip.
When the DVR mirror is off, it becomes a normal reflective mirror, however, the video recording can continue in the background.
What makes this product so unique is that the Tombo360 can show a 360-degree view simultaneously on all multiple view selections for complete viewing coverage. The Tombo360 mirror can also stream video from behind the car and automatically switch to a rear view when the car is in reverse.
In the future, Rydeen will add 4G/5G capability to the Tombo360, so that it becomes a “virtual technology hub” for any car, including older vehicles. With the optional wireless 4G/5G connection, parents can check on teen drivers in real time, viewing both the car cabin AND the surroundings of the car, or owners may view a parked car’s condition and surroundings at any time. If a car was damaged while parked overnight, the owner can view video footage of the incident directly from the mirror or on their smartphone or tablet from the cloud storage.

Unlike other 360-degree cameras that present a rounded, “fish-eye,” distorted image, the Tombo360 uses internal processing to flatten the image and present a bright, clear, and realistic view.
Our system uses a Sony® Hi-Res CMOS sensor with advanced HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, adjusting lighting conditions for clarity and perfect resolution in any situation. This is important when the outside lighting is bright and sunny, but the inside cabin lighting is darker. Rydeen has overcome this lighting challenge, which continues to plague most other systems.
Users may change the camera angle to face the front. Then the Tombo360 mirror can view the right and left views beyond the A-pillar of a vehicle to see the outside view without obstacles. It can automatically change the screen view for blind spot elimination. The mirror also automatically triggers the optional rear camera when the car is placed in reverse, offering a seamless system for all driving directions.
