The Mobile Electronics Association (MERA) today announced that registration for KnowledgeFest is now open. Themed “The Playbook: Retail Growth Through Proactive Strategy,” the 2012 show and conference will be held August 18-21 at the Gaylord Texan Hotel and Conference Center near Dallas, Texas. In order to facilitate the registration process, MERA also launched anall-newand more informative website specifically for KnowledgeFest at knowledgefest.org.
“Every year we learn from our previous show, and every year the show gets that much better,” said Chris Cook, MERA president. “In line with our theme we’re working to focus our seminars, presentations and show floor experience so that each attending retailer and installer goes back to his or her store with a better strategic outlookandkey information that will produce an immediate and positive result.”
KnowledgeFest.org is the information and interactive hub for all news and events leading up to the show. Attendees—both MERA members and non-members—can register to attend the show and get information on the hotel and conference center as well as surrounding attractions, facilities and amenities. In addition, the site features an exhibitor list and show floor plan that is updated as vendors confirm participation. Attendees also have full access to a continually updated schedule that includes keynote addresses, educational tracks, roundtable discussions, networking events and exhibit hall hours.
The site includes information and resources for exhibitors as well. Vendors can register to participate in the show, select booth space and get move-in, shipping and move-out information from a single resource.
