Best Buy to Close 50 Stores, Lay Off 400 - Business Insider

Business Insider reported today that Best Buy, fresh off news of less-than-stellar 4th quarter earnings, plans to downsize its operations by shuttering 50 retail locations and laying off approximately 400 employees. In addition, the company plans to focus more attention on mobile phone sales and profit from commissions paid from wireless carriers.
