Alpine's F#1 Status Arrives at CES

Las Vegas - Alpine Electronics of America Inc. launched its highly anticipated Alpine F#1 Status Multimedia System components this past weekend at the Consumer Electronics Show. Alpine F#1 Status is not a new line of products but rather the label the company gives to its products that have reached the highest standard possible. The first Alpine F#1 Status products the PXA-H900 Multimedia Manager and CDA-7990 CD Player made their worldwide debut at the Paris Motor Show in September of last year and quickly established new benchmarks for mobile multimedia system performance. Alpine has applied advanced digital technology and processing power to achieve the most accurate sound reproduction in any vehicle. This is not a separate line of products said Todd Van Zandt Alpines manager of product promotion while running through a demonstration inside Alpine’s booth. This was actually a design and engineering challenge we gave to our engineers to develop the very best product. When the product reached that status we have given it the title of F#1 Status. The vision of Alpine F#1 status said Zandt is non-compromising thinking and extreme attention to detail. This technological approach has been named Micro Dynamics by Alpine’s research and development team. In developing Alpine F#1 Status products Alpine engineers examined the quality and performance level of every component and selected only the best parts to achieve the pinnacle of performance required under the Alpine F#1 Status guidelines. Alpine took what it has learned in the development of the Alpine F#1 Status products to create the most sophisticated car mobile multimedia system ever made said Stephen Witt Alpine’s vice president of brand marketing. Alpine F#1 Status is a tribute to Alpine’s heritage to sound quality and is the most advanced product designed to create the ideal in-vehicle sound experience. The industry has recognized this by awarding the PXA-h900 Multimedia Manager with a 2001 CES Innovations award. The PXA-H900 Multimedia Manager Digital Processor and CDA-7990 CD Player will be available through qualified Alpine dealers in Spring 2001.
